I've got a lot of stories about the strange and
powerful birds of Reveria.
If you ever decide to become a Hunter, come and
see me. I'll see if you've got what it takes.
The owls around here sure make a racket at night.
You must be a Hunter, am I right? My name is Boyd.
I used to be a Hunter like you.
Tell you what—if you make it to Adept rank, perhaps
I'll tell you more about my story.
Go and hone your hunting skills, kiddo.
I don't share my knowledge with just anyone, you
know! Come back when you've reached Adept rank.
Hm, so you've made the Adept rank now, eh? Seems
you've some skill with that bow after all.
Have you heard tell of any of Reveria's strange and
legendary birds?
There is the Bigbeak that makes its home in the West
Grassy Plains. You might find it engaging...
If you meet the Bigbeak, it will probably be your first
encounter with a powerful bird. Keep your wits on!
So you became an Expert, eh? Who'd have thought
you'd come so far?! Well, if you haven't already...
Maybe you should take on the mighty Blizzard Bird.
It lives to the west on Tortuga Archipelago.
The Blizzard Bird makes its nest in high places.
Apparently, that hint has led many a Hunter...what's
the opposite of astray...aright?
Ah, so you became a Master, did you? Have you
heard of the Thunderbird?
It is a mighty beast, the very embodiment of the
power of thunder, that dwells in the Aridian Desert.
Despite my efforts, I've never managed to best the
beast. But you just might be able to...
The Thunderbird roams in the Aridian Desert.
As its name suggests, it is the very embodiment of
the power of thunder. You should prepare yourself.
Well...what would make a suitable opponent for a
Hero like you? The legendary Shadow Bigbeak?
I trust you know of the ferry that leaves from here?
Board that to go to Cacto Cove just south of here.
Find the cave known simply as the Cave of Shadows.
That is where the beast dwells.
You will need to use all of your skills to defeat this
creature of darkness, if you haven't yet done so!
So you're a Legend at last, eh? I never imagined you
would become such a magnificent Hunter.
You've fulfilled my dream of hunting down Reveria's
legendary game. I am honored to have met you.
I hope you continue to enjoy Life to the fullest. But
remember to always think of others too.
Never forget the importance of family and friends,
and always look to protect those who need help.
I hear you continue to set yourself even greater
challenges. That is fantastic news!
It's rare to see that sort of drive in people these
days. Take this. I'm sure it could be of use to you.
The hunt never ends, you know. That is what it means
to be a Hunter.
So you have reached Creator rank, have you? Well
then, congratulations!
You might have reached Creator rank now, but
somehow you don't seem at all changed.
Many who become Heroes and Legends become
quite aloof, but not you.
That is the mark of a truly great person. I am
honored to have met you.
