Welcome to the Anglers' Association!
I'm here to help everyone, from the newest of
newbies to the oldest of old hands!
I'm busy at work during the day, so the only time
I can go fishing is at night. I love night fishing.
You're an Angler too! Welcome to the Anglers'
Association!
I'm Marina. I'm here to assist anyone who needs it.
Just ask if you have a problem. I'll throw you a line!
Welcome to Port Puerto! My name is Marina. Pleased
to meet you!
I work over at the Anglers' Association. Come pay us
a visit sometime!
I'm sorry, but you have to be at least an Apprentice
Angler to register with the Anglers' Association.
But please do come back once you improve your
skills a little. We look forward to your joining us!
Congratulations on becoming an Apprentice! You're
now an official member of the Anglers' Association!
Take this to commemorate this wonderful day.
It's a special item we only give out to our members!
We use those flags to let people know when we've
had a big haul!
Everyone in the Anglers' Association has one!
You should meet some of the other members of the
Anglers' Association.
Seabury is the head of the Association and quite a
seafood connoisseur. He sees food and eats it!
Guppy is his energetic little grandson. And last but
not least is Castele's famous Fisherman Sage!
There are many...er...unique members of our
association. You'll see.
Wow, you've reached Expert rank already? That's
awesome! We should go fishing sometime!
I'm looking forward to going fishing with you! Guppy
might get jealous, but we can deal with that.
Congratulations on becoming a Master! Did the
Fisherman Sage teach you Go with the Flow?
I've made use of it many times when grappling with
stubborn fish. It's best saved for the right moment.
I like to use it to finish fish off, but it's all up to you!
The Go with the Flow skill is best used at the right
moment. It's particularly useful for stronger fish.
By the way, if you happen to catch any rare fish,
would you tell Guppy about them? He'd dig that.
So you've reached Hero rank? Well, congratulations!
By the way, have you tried being a Carpenter?
There are some Anglers who like to work as
Carpenters on the side and make their own rods.
You can make much better rods than you can buy,
once you know what you're doing! Try it out!
Sadly, I'm not much of a Carpenter myself.
I'm much more of a carp eater! Heh heh.
But my friend Decker is pretty skilled when it comes
to woodwork, so he makes my rods for me.
His job is actually maintaining the ships in the marina.
He's probably over at the docks right now.
Wow, you've reached the Legend rank? I'm really
happy for you. That's a special achievement!
Congratulations on reaching the Legend rank!
To be honest, I always thought you had it in you.
After all, you've been a legend to me for a long time!
You've worked wonders with Guppy. Thank you.
Hm? You seem...taller than last time I saw you...
Have you had a growth spurt or something?
Me? Oh, I'm doing just fine, as usual, thanks.
Everything's the same as always around here.
Guppy's doing well, and Seabury is stuffing his face,
or "sampling the ocean's bounty," as he puts it.
I heard you've reached Creator rank now?!
Wow! You never stop working, do you, [Player]?
Here. Guppy fished this up earlier. He wanted you to
have it.
We should all go out fishing together sometime. It'd
be so much fun, don't you think?
