GrampsHello there, friend. You know, I've got a hankering
for a Big Egg. You know what an egg is, right?
Fries up in a pan? Good with bacon? Look, I
haven't got time to explain what an egg is.
All you need to know is you can find a Big Egg
in the Grassy Plains. Other places too!
If you get me one of those, I'll give you 500 Dosh
and my Bronze Dagger.
[Choice: Accept / Decline]
GrampsIf you keep on taking requests, our little town is just
going to love you.
People around here are into makin' requests.
Fetch this, fight that. Never a dull moment!
It's your prerogative, of course. You don't have to
take on a request if you don't feel like it.
And knowing these townsfolk, you may end up
juggling quite a few requests...
Luckily, you can see all the requests you've taken in
the Quests menu, in Other Requests.
That list should help you keep everything straight.
Now go out and fill MY request, ya hear?
GrampsNo skin off my back. But I'll be here if you change
your mind. Might have some helpful info for you too!
GrampsYou've got 1 Big Egg, just like I wanted! How
about I take that yolky whopper from you?
[Choice: Hand over / Keep for now]
GrampsThis will make for one gigantic scramble, my friend.
Should feed me for days!
GrampsYou're going to keep my stomach grumbling?
Well then, I look forward to getting it later.
GrampsAnd THAT is how requests work. We make the
request; you fill it. Then you get your just rewards!
Some folks could even ask you to make weapons
or furniture for 'em.
You might not have the necessary Life skills when
they ask you, but you can always learn 'em.
...You know, by taking on a new Life. And then
another new Life! And another!
Now, if you find yourself drowning in requests,
you can always cancel some of 'em.
Just go into Other Requests in the Quests menu.
No one'll hold it against you!
One last thing: if someone asks for an item, you can
always take him or her a higher-quality version of it.
That's all I've got to say about requests. So how
about going out and making some folks happy?
