Are you talking to me? How can you see me? I'm a Leafe—we're only visible to Woodcutters! Maybe you have a hidden talent for woodcutting. Perhaps you should try it out!
It's late. I'm sleepy. Good night.
We meet again! I'm Bracken, remember? One of the Leafes in charge of Castele's trees. Come see me or any of my fellow Leafes if you ever need advice. Take care!
I'm happy to talk with you, but I'm afraid I don't have any especially helpful advice right now. Keep at your craft, and come back later!
Hello, my Woodcutter friend! Listen closely—I have some words of wisdom for you. Oak Trees do grow sparsely in this area, but their natural habitat is in the Elderwood to the north. The Elderwood is also home to at least one Great Oak Tree, which can yield Elder Logs. But be careful! The Elderwood is also home to many dangerous creatures. Proceed with caution.
If you seek Elder Logs, visit the Elderwood. That should be easy to remember, yes?
Have you ever heard the legend of the Elder Logs? Well! Make yourself comfortable—I have quite a story to share with you. Many moons ago, a legendary warrior whose armor shined with the light of a thousand suns... Er, what? You don't have time for this right now? All right. Another time, perhaps. Carry on.
Ah, my Woodcutter friend! How is the forest treating you? Excellent. Great to hear. But you must be growing tired of harvesting Oak Trees, no? Well, the time is right for you to visit Mount Snowpeak and try your hand at Pine. Pine Logs make excellent weapons and tools...and sell for more Dosh than Oak. Good luck!
Have you tried harvesting Pine Logs from Mount Snowpeak yet? What are you waiting for?
Let me tell you a tale of how the Elder Fir Logs came to bear the crown pattern. A long, long, long, LONG time ago, an entire kingdom sat atop Mount Snowpeak. And in that kingdom reigned a king. And that king's third cousin, twice removed... Really? You're going to interrupt me just when I'm on a roll? *sigh* Go on. Do whatever it is you're in such a hurry to do.
Greetings, my Woodcutter friend! How is your axe swinging these days? Wonderful to hear. Now, have I already spoken with you about the Elderwood? I have? Well, did I tell you about the Great Elderwood Tree? Aha! I knew I had something useful to teach you today. So. The Great Elderwood Tree. It's in the Elderwood. If you haven't already, you should find it! And claim the Bounty! That's all. Sorry. I thought I had more.
Did I tell you about the Great Elderwood Tree yet? I see. And, I apologize. I am not known for my short-term memory.

Hello, Woodcutter. I have yet another indispensable tip for you. There's a particular snow-covered Fir Tree that grows atop Mount Snowpeak... What's that? How is it different from any other fir on Mount Snowpeak? It's just...prettier...somehow. So yeah. Check it out.
Ahh... I wish I were at the summit of Mount Snowpeak right this moment, enjoying the view.
Have you ever wanted to know the long and exquisitely detailed history behind Elder Fir Logs? No? Not even a little bit? *sigh* And here I spent all this time memorizing it...
Congratulations, young Woodcutter! Or should I say Master Woodcutter! Now, on this occasion, I have some tremendously useful information for you. Stop rolling your eyes. This time I mean it. I can tell you about sacred trees! *ahem* Somewhere on the spacious plains, the Sacred Earth Tree grows. The Sacred Water Tree resides where coastal water flows. Enclosed in streams of hot magma, the Sacred Fire Tree stands. And the Sacred Wind Tree thrives among the breezy desert sands. I...I made it through the whole list without you interrupting me! Oh, happy day!
Did you get all of that info about the sacred trees? Want me to repeat any of it? No? You're good? You sure? I love the sound of my own voice...

Friend...the last time we spoke, I gave you a great deal of information about sacred trees. And you listened to all of it! At least, you did the first time through. Anyway, here's a small token of my appreciation. Enjoy!
Friend...I have decided that brevity is the soul of wit. I will therefore adjust my manner of speaking. Right...now.

You made Legend? Fantastic. That's all I have to say.
Good luck to you, my Woodcutter friend!
