CedarHello there. My name's Cedar. I know more about trees than the trees themselves. Sorry. That came out wrong. But...I am a scholar who specializes in trees.
CedarI'm afraid I'm quite useless as a Woodcutter, although I technically do possess a license. Rather than cut trees, I simply study them. I hope to record a definitive volume of information.
CedarHello. Are you the promising young Woodcutter Heyho told me about? I'm Cedar, and I've been looking for a skilled Woodcutter to aid in my research.
CedarHmm. I'm afraid Heyho may have oversold your abilities somewhat. But don't be discouraged. Keep working on your skills, and then come back and see me.
CedarAh, welcome back! I see you've been hard at work honing your skills as a Woodcutter. Well, I have some information that could be of great value to you. Evidently one of the Leafes runs a small tool shop deep inside the Elderwood. If you're looking to upgrade the tools of your trade, it might be worth a visit...
CedarHave you managed to find the tool shop in the Elderwood yet? I'm not sure they want the publicity, but I've been telling every Woodcutter I know. All I ask in return is shared knowledge. I want to learn about every type of tree in Reveria!

CedarCongratulations on reaching the Expert rank! Heyho told me all about it. I have a small gift to commemorate the occasion. Have you seen one of these before? It's a Tool-Upgrade Stone—a special material you can add to certain crafts. Imagine it! The ability to craft a mighty axe the likes of which has never been seen in Reveria! Of course, you'd have to have a Carpenter License... but that's easy enough to obtain.
CedarI have some advice that may run contrary to popular opinion—you may take it or leave it. Try out every Life you can! Don't specialize. Learn everything there is to know in Reveria. That's the best way to find out where your strengths lie.

CedarIs it true? You've reached the Master rank already? Well, I think you're ready for a challenge, then. Deep in the heart of the Elderwood grows an abomination known as the Sinister Tree. All trees are "alive" in the sense that they are living organisms. But I think you'll find this tree is...how should I put it...MORE alive than most. What do you say? Are you up for obtaining a sample of this legendary tree? If you haven't already, that is.
CedarI'm afraid I don't have any particular tips or tricks for felling the Sinister Tree. I only know where to find it—deep in the heart of the Elderwood.

CedarMy sources tell me you've reached the Hero rank already. Fantastic news. Perhaps, then, you might have some insight on an environmental problem that has been bothering me. How is it possible that the trees of Reveria are able to regenerate so quickly? It defies the very principles of photosynthesis, cell mitosis, physics, and even thermodynamics!
CedarI think Reveria would be a better place if everyone studied the natural sciences. After all, the more we learn about the world, the more we can live in harmony with it.

CedarIt has come to my attention that you've reached the Legend rank. How marvelous! Master Heyho himself came by to give me the news... along with some information about the Leafes. Evidently, they rely on Woodcutters to cull a certain portion of the trees each season. Without Woodcutters, the forest would become overgrown and unhealthy. Fascinating, isn't it? I'll need to devote an entire chapter to human-Leafe relations.
Cedar"A legendary Woodcutter...known for walking the walk but never talking the talk." Oh! That's how I was going to describe you in my book. Sound OK?

CedarGood day,
CedarI need more information about this Creator rank. Who can assign it to you? How is it earned? I don't just want to know. I NEED to know. My thirst for knowledge is unquenchable.

CedarUnbelievable. You've done it! You've achieved the Creator rank! I may have to revise my plans. You were going to get an entire chapter in my book... But perhaps you warrant your OWN BOOK!
