It's always "Forest Lady, help me!" or "Forest Lady, save me!" or "Forest Lady, give me a nice axe!" Don't they know I'm busy protecting the entire forest? Yeesh. Sorry. Rant over. Now, what did you want?

ElmieSo you're still checking in with Heyho every so often, right? Tell me, how's he doing? Has he been able to forgive himself? Oh, wonderful! He's really been too hard on himself over the years.

ElmieCan you do me a favor? I have a message I want you to pass on to Heyho for me. Please tell him the forest spirits forgave him long ago. It's all needles under the pine. I think he thinks he's "cursed" or something. And he's totally not. The spirits just wanted to give him a little warning, and I'm afraid it went too far...

ElmieHey, congratulations on earning the Master rank! What, you thought I wouldn't know? I'm all knowing! OK, maybe "ALL knowing" is a tiny stretch. I don't know how to cook, for example. But I know enough to say that you're the most promising young Woodcutter we've seen in years. You treat the forest well...and in return, it treats you well. It's simple, but some people can't seem to grasp the concept. Anyway, keep up the good work!

ElmieYou know what makes the forest spirits happy? To see logs being harvested for a noble purpose. From the handle of a magnificent axe...to the planks used in an exquisite piece of furniture... And that's why so many of the top Woodcutters also dabble in the Carpenter Life. When you understand how to craft with wood, you're more in tune with the raw materials. Anyway, it never hurts to try out a new Life or two. You won't lose any Woodcutter skills!

ElmieI have a question for you, Woodcutter. How do you feel about luck? It's tempting to think your accomplishments are all skill, and bad luck is, well, bad luck. But luck—pure, random chance—plays a role in everything, like it or not. The trick is to develop your luck like a skill! That's all I can say. Gotta keep some supernatural secrets.

ElmieHey, Forest Protector. Here's an exercise for you to try. Go back to your home, turn off the lights, sit on the floor, and meditate. Tune out all sounds and distractions...and then listen for the whispers of the forest! They can still be heard in the floorboards and the furniture...the chest of drawers and the cabinet. It's just another way to remind yourself to always be respectful of Reveria's natural resources.

ElmieHowdy, Woodcutter! What's the latest? What?! You're trying to go beyond the Legend rank? How is that even possible? Why don't you stop what you're doing and try out another Life for a while?
