Sebastian | Fantasy Life (3DS)

SebastianHave you done your warm-up exercises, you scoundrels?

SebastianA true hero must always be an ally of justice, no matter what the situation.

SebastianThose hands...those burns and blisters... You must surely be a Blacksmith, no? My name is Sebastian. I am a purveyor of the world's most valuable commodity: justice! I am currently searching for a particular sword... As a Blacksmith, perhaps you know of it?

SebastianAh, but you are still just a young Fledgling. You would not yet know the tale... Come back and see me once you have reached Apprentice rank. I may be able to tell you more then.

SebastianAh, from your emboldened gaze, it would seem you have reached Apprentice rank. Ha ha! You don't have to say a word. When you're as experienced as I, you can just tell these things. Anyway, there is something I want to ask you. It would allow me to see how skilled you are. Would you be willing to forge me some sort of weapon using Iron Ingots? Personally, I appreciate a fine sword. However, feel free to craft whatever weapon you like. After all, Blacksmiths must be fueled by the fire of their passion, whatever that may be! Show me what you can do!

SebastianIf you had some Iron Ingots, I'm sure it'd speed up your progress. Hmm... Ah, don't mind me. I was just thinking aloud.

SebastianI hear whispers that you reached the Adept rank as a Blacksmith. Well, perhaps you might be able to handle this craft that recently fell into my possession. Silver weapons are stronger than those wrought of iron. Monsters often fear those who wield them. I have no use for this item anyway, so here. Why don't you take it?

SebastianWhere did I get that? Well, I didn't casually wander 'round people's homes opening chests and smashing their pots to find it! How could you even think such a thing?! If you must know, I simply found it while I was out exploring.

SebastianHey! Listen! I've found it at last! What have I found, you ask? The location of the sword I've been searching for! It is sealed away in a cave on Mount Snowpeak, and legend has it only the chosen one can remove it. I am determined to be the one to draw it from its resting place!

SebastianIt seems a legendary blade is sealed away inside a cave on Mount Snowpeak. As a Blacksmith, perhaps you should go and see its magnificence before I take it for my own!

SebastianAh, you again. Is there something you need? I'm afraid the blade I had long been searching for was something of a disappointment. Ah, but never mind that. Here—I have something for you. I collected them on my way to find the sword. They're not too hard to find if you want to get your hands on some more sometime.

SebastianI'm afraid that sword did not recognize me as the hero of justice I am! Isn't a mighty blade supposed to be the ally of any true hero?! Hmph! How dare it refuse me! Wait a minute. That sword could...talk... How could it talk? Is that normal?

SebastianAha! There you are! Good to see you, Hero! I've got some good information for you. Somewhere in Reveria, there is a legendary floating island called Terra Nimbus. Apparently, by using the Celestial Ore that can be mined there, you can forge a mighty blade. If someone could make such a blade, they might succeed where I failed and become a true hero... They could be the greatest of heroes, wielding the greatest of blades. Perhaps...perhaps you have what it takes to forge this weapon. Hmmm.

SebastianWhat's that? I've changed, you say? Hmmm... I suppose I ought to take that as a compliment! Heh heh heh!

SebastianSo you've made the Legend rank... Hmmmmmmm. You remind me of myself. A conqueror of darkness. With that much strength...well...we should be in awe of one another!

SebastianI can take it no longer! This just isn't my style at all. I was trying to come across as a cool yet dark character. I don't suppose you noticed? What?! You didn't?! I guess that means... I truly am meant to be a purveyor of justice! After all, such a hero could never turn to darkness!

SebastianGood to see you, young Demi-Creator! Hmm? How did I know about that, you ask? Heh heh heh. I'm afraid that's a secret, my friend!

SebastianThat talking sword tells me all sorts of things, you know. After I tried to draw it from its pedestal so many times, we ended up forming a bit of a friendship. That said, I still can't seem to get it out of that stubborn old rock. *sigh*

SebastianCongratulations! I hear you've reached the elusive Creator rank. Here. Why not try making this blade? Take the recipe with you. I've no need for it anyway. I'm sure someone with your skills should be able to make it with no problems whatsoever!

SebastianThere are many fine swords in this world, my friend. And one in particular dominates my thoughts. I intend to make it my partner in adventure! That blade awaits the appearance of a true hero, deep inside a mountain cave. I vow that someday I shall pull that mighty sword from its stony prison. I have no doubt it is as strong as, and perhaps even stronger than, this mighty blade you forged!
