Field talk (1,542 lines)

Origin Island Holiday Home

You know, this reminds me...
...It's almost like how I got to Reveria.
I was flying through the clouds...
It's an island! An island in the sky!
I remember how I landed in Reveria now! I remember there was falling...and screaming!

Prologue: Welcome to Reveria!

Please! Just let me go!
What? What did I say?!
I was only responding to your little comment about putting me in a display case. That wasn't very nice.
I'm not just some regular old butterfly you can turn into a brooch or a hatpin!
What?! But...butterfly wings really aren't very filling, you know. And they're high in trans fats!
No! You can't do that!
Hey! You there! Friend! Tell these guys, uh...y'know, why they...can't do that.
Whoa, slow down there. I mean, I do appreciate your bravery and all...
But I think it's best if we could deal with these...
ruffians in a civilized manner.
Really?! Well, I can't really blame you, I guess...
Why get involved in the inconsequential affairs of those in need of help...
I'll do my best, as a fragile butterfly, to deal with these large and intimidating ruffians on my own.
Oh, I don't like where this situation is going...
Hey, you there! Actually, I think I could really use your help...
Whew! Thanks for getting those guys off my back.
I'm doing research on all of the Life choices here in Reveria, so I've been asking a lot of questions.
Those two were being so rude, so I asked: "Which Life did you two select?
Lemme guess...Nimrod? Or was it Nincompoop?"
Guess they didn't care too much for that. Ha!
Maybe I should've kept quiet, but I just couldn't help it! Anyway, I really owe you one. Thanks again!
Well, I'm headed to the castle. I still have more research to do! Maybe I'll see you around!
And the castle was...which way?
Due north, right?
Oh, there it is up there!
Farewell, then!
And good luck with your Life!
But you just have to let me see the king!
Oh, hello again!
Yeah, this is...my friend! See, when people help each other out, they have things like friends, you meanie!
He's prejudiced against butterflies! Can you believe that? In this day and age?!
They probably didn't let you in to see the king because of the way you're dressed, huh?
More prejudice! How can people get so uptight about dressing formally?
You even have a personal invitation from the king! Oooooh, this all makes me so—
Hey! Wait a second! I think I know how to get us both inside the Royal Court!
Wanna try something sneaky? [Choice: Sure, why not? / I don't know...]
But we can't just take no for an answer!
You're here on, uh...official business...right?
And it's very, very important that I see the king!
So just trust me on this one, OK?
I haven't had much practice hitting a moving target, so stand still...
Voilà!
You've heard of a bow tie... Well, say hello to the world's first buttertie!
*Psst! I can't believe it really worked!*
*Way to play it cool. Now just stride on in there like you've belonged this entire time!*
*Psst. So is the king...a little boy?*
*She smells like a meadow in springtime. I like her!*
*Sounds like the princess has a real wild streak!*
*Wow, [Player]! You really scored here!*
And...buttertie off!
That was great! I got to see the king, thanks to you!
You played it real smooth in there. Well done!
Well, I guess this is where we part ways. Good luck in your new Life, [Player]!
Did I mention that your new duds look really great? The king definitely set you up!
You seem a little...naked around the neck, though. If it gets cold, that's not gonna be comfortable...
It's almost as if your outfit could use one more accessory...
...
You just look like you're lacking a little something...
Uh...yeah, so...
Hey, I've got another great idea!
It just doesn't make sense for you to go on alone.
I mean, it's such a big world, [Player]! You could get so much more accomplished with a friend!
Your silence speaks volumes... You're just gonna make me come out and beg, aren't you?
Come on! You have to let me come with you!
Reveria is no place for a butterfly on its own! [Choice: Why not? / No way!]
Yes! You won't regret this, I promise!
Oh, that's cold...
Look, you need a companion for this new chapter in your Life. Plus, I can help you get into formal affairs.
You know you're just prolonging the inevitable...
Also, I'm not giving you a choice. If you say no, I'm just going to follow you anyway. So how about it?! [Choice: OK]
I knew you'd see things my way...
We need to visit this Master next...
The king gave you a map, right?
Let's bust that baby out and see where we're going!
Let's see where we need to go and make the acquaintance of your new Life Master!

Introduction Quest 020

Wow! Well done!
There's something different about you, [Name 1]!
You almost look like you're glowing!
Those Stars are going to serve you well!
You must be exhausted by now, though. I know I am.
You still haven't shown me where you live. Let's head back to your place for a little shut-eye.
Great! But we're both pretty beat, to be honest.
You can just call me...Butterfly. It's simple. I like it. [Player] really helped me out today!
Oh, sure! Don't worry. I'm very independent.
I can hunt my own sugared water.
That sounds lovely. Thank you.
Will do! Thanks for your help!
Sounds like we should get you some Bliss, huh?
I can't wait to see how Bliss will change your Life!
Oh, so maybe that's what...hrm.
Hey, check this out!
You'll never guess what I can do!
I can actually perform Bliss checks for you!
... I was expecting some type of reaction there.
Well, never mind.
Just let me know if you ever want to check how much Bliss you've acquired.
We'll see what you've got and tally it all up!
Wanna give it a quick shot now? [Choice: Sure / Nah]
I was hoping you'd say that.
Time to check that Bliss!
Ouch. That's cold.
I'm just going to pretend I didn't hear you.
Great job, [Player]!
If you keep gathering Bliss at this rate...
you'll be racking up the Bliss Bonuses in no time!
Let me know whenever you want me to perform a Bliss check for you!
I was planning to flap around quietly outside so I wouldn't bother you, [Player]...
but I think I'll just flutter around in here instead. That way, we can keep talking.
So if you'd like to talk to me, just come back here and I'll be happy to help!
You're really not so big on conversation, are you? That's OK. I can do most of the chatting. I do gotta say that you handled everything like a champ today.
I'm so glad I chose you, [Player]...
I mean, not that I chose you. I'm glad that we just happened to run into each other the way we did.
Totally randomly and all.
Totally.
So...I guess that's it for small talk, eh?
Well, regardless, I can't wait to see what Reveria has in store for us! Let's rest up for now, [Player]!
Good morning, [Player]!
Looks like you gave your head quite a whack. Are you OK?
I've never seen anyone just roll out of bed quite like that before!
I hope that wasn't because I was tickling your nose.
I mean, that couldn't have been it...right? Ha ha...?
Hey! I think I heard the Postman toss a letter in your mailbox a few minutes ago.
Let's go see who it's from!
Maybe it'll give us some ideas for exploring today!
Let's set up that piece of furniture Pam gave us.
Boy, are my wings exhausted. Let's hit the hay, [Player]. Whaddya say?

Tale of Lunares: Chapter One

WHAT ON REVERIA IS THAT?!
Well, that was terrifying!
Are you OK?
I think I'm fine...my wings are just a little extra jittery.
I'm still shaking. I mean, look at that thing! What do you think that is?!
Sheesh! Who's the guy dancing the Bossy Nova?
Thanks so much for your company! ...What a jerk.
What about Pam?! Is she OK?!
We're fine! But...we've got some bad news for you.
I have no idea who you're talking about, Pam. Sorry.
How? I mean...what was that thing?
Wait—so this is a common occurrence?!
[Player]! We should go and check it out before that Hughes jerk gets to it!
Thanks for the hot tip, Pam!
Let's fly!
Me where?!
Did you hear someone shouting, or are my antennae on the fritz?
But...I do see you.
Uh, yeah. I mean, no! I mean... I don't know if I saw him. The one you're looking for, that is.
But there was a blur in a blue cap that ran past us toward the town.
Isn't that right, [Player]? *wink*
OK, they're gone.
Not quite.
We're looking for the—
It breaks my heart to stop you.
Actually, we're looking for a Doomstone. Isn't that right, [Player]?
Huh? Uh, well...sure. I guess. I mean, it doesn't sound like we have much of a choice.
So where exactly is this Doomstone supposed to have fallen?
I don't see the Doomstone anywhere!
*ahem* Excuse me.
Tell us where the Doomstone is, or we'll tell the king you were snoozing on the job.
Thank you!
It-it looks like...the outline of a person.
Yeah, uh...I mean, it's not like there's some sort of land up there in the clouds filled with people...right?
They mentioned no...treasure? Just measure, pleasure, and leisure. No treasure? Are you sure?
What do you mean by "catastrophic"?
Don't be stupid!
Huuuh?!
Oh, [Player], you big meanie! I am not for sale!
Ha!
If you think I'm the kind of flighty butterfly who goes off with total strangers, think again!
Is that a threat?!
Did I mention what a jerk that guy is?
What, you know him?
Let's go, [Player]! Sounds like action up ahead!
Oh, there were words on that sign? Sorry. We thought some toddler had scribbled on it.
It's covered in some type of...shadow. This must be the catastrophe Hughes was talking about.
Hey there, boy! It's OK! We don't want any trouble. We just need that little Doomstone behind you.
OK. Time for plan B.
Poor little creature?! That thing just tried to bite my proboscis off!
It does seem like it's...struggling somehow, though.
I get the feeling that it's trying to fight this. That it's more tortured than deliberately evil...maybe.
I think the Doomstone is definitely causing this.
What do you think would happen if we tried to destroy the stone?
But this thing and the stone are the same color... It looks like they're filled with the same type of energy.
Oh my...
Wow! Look at that!
Oh, no, ha ha, it was...just a lucky guess, y'know.
The Doomstone actually looks rather beautiful now.
It's right there.
We had to do it, Hughes. It was dangerous!
Remember what you said earlier, Professor? Well, that stone did have a catastrophic effect here.
It somehow covered Chompy in a living shadow and took him over or something.
He tried to attack us. But once the Doomstone shattered, Chompy went back to normal!
That is one strange girboy.
I don't know about you, but I'm exhausted.
I can't believe we actually tracked down the Doomstone!
Let's get a move on before we spend any more time patting ourselves on the thorax.
We deserve a break after all that. Let's head back home, [Player].
Let's go see if Pam got the roof fixed yet.
We did! Thanks to [Player]'s efforts!
Aw, well...I don't know. Maybe.
That penmanship is laughable.
...

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Two

Oooh. I like the looks of this one!
An anonymous plea for help. A foreboding message. And on such cute apple stationery!
Let's hurry to the castle!
Yep! It's [Player] and
You'll be forced to what?! Get pompous and uppity? Like all red-faced umpousity?!
Someone in the castle has requested our help. Do you want to be responsible for getting in our way?
[Player] here got a letter requesting a personal presence, yes.
And it was written on apple-patterned stationery.
Oh, I'm sorry. Is that notable to you?
OK, that's fine. Thanks for your help. We'll just go back home now and say you wouldn't let us in.
So you won't mind if we just take a look around?
Hey, [Player], did you see how the Minister reacted when I told him about the stationery?
Did that seem odd?
Anyway, let's track down whoever it was who wrote that letter. We've got some investigating to do!
Um...excuse me? Hi. Sorry. I don't mean to interrupt your follicle threats, but we just had a question.
Um...why, yes. He was very polite. Good guy.
Uh, well...we got this letter. It asked us to come here to the castle.
...Yes. On paper. It specifically asked for our help.
And it was written on this cute apple stationery.
OK, so really. What is it about this apple paper? Is anyone going to tell us?
OK...but just really quickly, if you can tell us who might have sent this letter, we could—
Uh, yeah. Sure! That's exactly what we'll do.
Yes?
Well. We can certainly take a hint.
Thank you for your time, Your Majesty!
Let's go, [Player].
Everyone here freaked out when we mentioned that stationery.
Something is up. Who knew something so cute could make these adults flip out like that?
Let's go talk to the Minister and see if we can get some information out of him.
Actually, we didn't. Something strange happens whenever we mention the apple stationery.
Can you tell us what all that's about?
Or are you just going to jump and start sweating and give us a bunch of lame excuses too?
Anyone of note? I don't know. I mean, we've met quite a few characters since we teamed up.
The girboy! Yes, actually, we did meet him!
He helped us out earlier but took off like his pants were on fire.
I think the Minister is trying to tell us something in his oh-so-subtle way, [Player].
It's kind of fun seeing him squirm trying to be clever.
Should we just let him go on like this?
Hey, guys, what's up? Whatcha talking about?
Why did the king lock the princess up?
*psst* [Player]...
Why would the princess need guards to keep her safe inside her own room? Something is off...
Let's ask around and see if we can find a way to get inside there. It looks like our apple does need help!
Excuse me! Queen Ophelia?
Erm, well...I'm not quite sure how to say this. So I guess we'll just come right out with it.
Someone wrote us a letter asking for help.
The request was written on apple stationery.
Well, at least you didn't jump out of your skin. So do you think you can help us...help the apple?
Yeah, they weren't too much help. But I understand. I mean, they're just doing their jobs.
...I don't know how to respond to that.
Are you sure you want us to be the ones to perform this, uh...really, really important task?
Yes, Your Majesty! Right away! You can count on us to deliver this pie 100 feet from here.
All right, make way. We've got a special delivery for Princess Laura.
Sure did! And all your gabbing is just making it cold, so you might want to let us in.
It's an honor to meet you, Princess Laura!
You got us. It was the only way we could get past the guards!
I can't believe they locked you in here! What can we do for you? [Player] and I are here to—
Wait a sec. How did you know [Player]'s name?
It isn't?
It's the girboy!
I think now I see why you needed a disguise to go out, Princess.
Oh, well...if you're sure. Laura.
Wait, wait, wait. Your escape? From the castle?
Why are they so serious about keeping you here?
Why would the king do something like that?
What would Hughes have against you?
Oh, really?
Why would he do that?
It seems like every time we see Hughes, it has something to do with one of those Doomstones.
So that's what's going on...
I'm sorry.
So you really want to escape the castle, eh?
Let's see what we can do.
Well...we're here, aren't we?
Think nothing of it. Let's get to work on busting you out of this place!
Laura? What is it?
What? Why would you say that?
That's the spirit! By the way, where did you get that blue cap? It looks so sharp on you.
I don't know how much any of that is going to help us. How about a ladder?
We're on it!
Ha! Piece of cake...or rope. Let's get back to Laura.
Look what we found!
It feels pretty sturdy.
But aren't there guards stationed down there below your window too?
Why am I suddenly worried...?
HA! This is amazing. You've got your own secret hideout back here!
Uh, well...of course, but shouldn't we get going right now? And maybe we can do that...later?
Where did you get all of this cool stuff?
Your father took you on adventures? The same father who's freaked out about you going outside?
It was fun, wasn't it?! We should name our adventures. That would be the Grassy Plains Caper.
Are we really that bad?!
Oh, you mean Pierre and Butch! Yeah, those two are good to have around if you're ever feeling down.
Very nice!
Is this how you usually sneak out of the castle?
What is it?
Well, it was pretty difficult to get past your guards.
Until someone helped us set off a little weakness in those guards...
If you know what I mean.
Let's do it! I can't wait to see the mountain where the Napdragon lives!
Got it!
So how do we get up there?
Why does a mountain have a janitor?
So...this little guy knows where the great Indubitable Crowned Champion is?
Wait a second! This little bouncing beard is...
The Indubitable Crowned Champion?! Custodian of Mount Snowpeak and all that?
*I think eccentric is an understatement.* Is he naked under that beard?
Uh, no! I was just wondering if... I was just saying it is an honor to meet you, Mr. Indubitable, sir.
I meant no disrespect, sir. I was just wondering...if your legs were cold under that beard is all.
No, of course, sir. You can wear whatever you want. I mean, I'm not wearing any pants either. HA!
You can do the honors, [Player]!
Oh, this is so exciting! What an adventure!
Good work! Are we ready for this?
Whoa! Everything is so white. I can hardly see!
Wait. Is...is this...snow?
I've heard so much about it. I can't believe I'm finally getting the chance to see it! It's beautiful!
But...it's s-so...c-cold...
Quickly, [Player]!
It's Hughes! He's talking to those soldiers.
Can you hear what he's talking about? I can't quite make it out.
What should we do?
What's so funny, Hughes? You didn't think someone would catch on to your plan?
Looks like we were on the wrong end of the assumption stick on this one...
*gulp* C'mon, [Player]! We've got to stop Laura!
Laura! Don't move!
Laura! Move away from the dragon! Please!
Did you notice the Napdragon, [Player]?
It doesn't look like a shadow the way that Chompy was when the Doomstone's energy took him over.
I don't think this is the Doomstone's doing. What's going on then?
Princess! Be careful!
Wait—did you see that?
The Napdragon is trying to communicate.
...Nest? What nest?
No... You want... They were taken from your nest?
Look!
The baby dragons!
Let's not get too sappy now! [Player], there's only one thing to do!
INCOMING!
Are we sure that's normal for them?
Why, that's very kind of you. I do love hummus.
HA! I don't know, Princess. Lately I've been on quite a few adventures that took a bit of planning.
Oh, sorry! I was just, uh, getting some fresh air.
Oh, HA! Uh, thanks, Your Majesty. That's very kind of you. So should we get going?
Everything set here, [Player]?
Now that the Napdragon is happy, let's head back home. I want to tell Pam all about our adventure!
We were all the way on top of Mount Snowpeak!
It was all snowy and we had to get this key and then we found the Goddess Cog! It was amazing!
And then the Napdragon said thank you!
*yawn*
Nah, it's just...a little... Well, maybe a...snooze.
*yaaaaaaaawn*
[Player]! Let's hurry to the top of Mount Snowpeak!
We should read the letter...

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Three

Another letter from King Erik? Sheesh, we're getting pretty popular up there at the castle, eh?
Let's head there and find out what he needs from us.
We can drop in on Laura and see what she's up to as well!
Whoa! Looks like the whole town is lined up here.
Pam giving away candy?
The what?!
Sorry to interrupt your routine here, but we have important business with the king.
A big what on Lunares?!
What are you talking about?
A symbol marring the surface of Lunares...
This was in the prophecy. That mark is supposed to foretell the destruction of Reveria!
Hey! Don't brush us off like that! I'm serious!
Didn't you summon us here?
Oh, great! What is it?
A large X that...
Phantom girl? I must've missed that part.
Laura!
You're turning down an adventure?
Unanimous? Really?
Well, thanks so much for that massive vote of confidence, Hughes!
[Player], this is really quite an honor. To be given a mission like this straight from the king.
You're moving up in the world, pal. To Port Puerto!
I can't wait to visit Port Puerto! I wonder if I should pack my swimsuit.
C'mon, let's check out how to get there on the map!
[Player] and Butterfly embark on another wild adventure! Port Puerto, here we come!
[Player], stop! Look at that!
That doesn't look good.
[Player], what should we do? [Choice: Fight! / ((Anything but fight!]
Good idea. I'll be cheering for you right here.
Really? Well...
I guess I could try to lend a wing, but...I think you might want to reconsider.
What should we do? [Choice: I'll fight! / ,,Please do something!]
OK. Maybe we can come to some kind of peaceful resolution. Um, close your eyes.
Just give me a second.
It looks like we've reached a kind of *ahem* understanding, [Player].
This is [Player]. You can just call me Butterfly.
*So he's from Port Puerto.*
*And he's got attendants. He might be an important guy. Maybe he can help us.*
*I think he might be getting suspicious that I'm whispering to you like this.*
*He's still looking at me, isn't he?*
No, no, everything is fine!
Oh my! Well, thank you so much. We were actually just on our way to Port Puerto!
Wow...this is nice.
Why, yes, it is our first time, thank you. We have an important message from the king of Castele.
Wait. Do you know King Erik?
Nice to meet you indeed, Ahab. So you keep company in the royal circles around here?
Funny you should ask. We were actually told to drop by the palace here.
That's where we'll find the king of Port Puerto, right?
So... I'm sorry—what are you saying?
We'll remember that. Thanks for the tip, Ahab.
Oh, is now a bad time? We can come back later, Mr. Pescado.
Oh, that's OK. You don't need to...yell at other people for our sake.
*It looks like Andy is a big fish around here...*
Ooh, the Rolling Big Wave of Eternity sounds cool!
Wait, no! Please stop!
We don't need any type of celebration or banquet.
We're just here to deliver a letter from the king of Castele. That's it. Just hear us out for a sec...
King Erik sent us here to see you.
That's pretty much the gist of it, yeah.
Yeah, there's a huge X on it now.
Where can we find your sister?
Oh yeah, I know! ...Those people... So can you tell us where Eyepatch Harrrbor is?
Sorry to hear that.
Um, hello? Ha ha... Excuse me, Mr. Tortoise?
*gulp* Was it something I said? What should we do? [Choice: Fight! / ((Anything but fight!]
OK! Do your best. I'll be behind you. I'll just stay here. But behind you.
What? You really don't want to fight?
Well, if you don't think you can win this fight, I could take this situation onto my own wings...
You sure that's what you want? [Choice: I'll fight! / $$You do something!]
OK, I get it! Peaceful resolution of this conflict might be the best. Now turn around.
Excuse me...fellas?
Understanding reached, [Player]!
Are you OK?
Yeah. Pfft! Pathetic.
Maybe we shouldn't have interfered...
She still seemed kind of thankful in the end, though.
Anyway. So where do you think we can find Andy's—
Wait—what?! Lady Olivia?!
That was Andy's sister, the governor! We need to give her King Erik's Letter!
C'mon! We gotta follow her!
I'm sorry to intrude, but you're Andy's sister, Olivia, right?
Yes, of course, Lady Olivia. I meant no disrespect. We have a letter for you from King Erik of Castele.
You don't take after your mother?
We're not certain. We're all still trying to figure it out. But it seems the Goddess Treasures are the key.
Well...you certainly seem to have the temperament of a pirate, Lady Olivia.
And the fruit of that forbidden love between a wild buccaneer and a noblewoman was you and Andy?
Was it Andy?
I liked the part about the forbidden romance! And the stormy objections!
That means you're actually half pirate and half princess! Should we call you Your Haaar-ness?!
Really? What was it?
It's possible!
Doomstones!
So they're falling here too.
Do you think that's OK?
No, no, no! Thanks, but we're fine, really. We don't need a three-day anything.
No, really! If we can just go along with you to the Tortuga Archipelago, that's all the thanks we need!
What do you mean?
I don't see Lady Olivia.
Maybe she was talking about somewhere else? She just said "outskirts," right? Kinda vague.
Hey, you hear that laughing?
Isn't that Ahab? He seems to be having a good old time over there.
Let's go see what's up.
It...roars good. Or well, I guess.
What? No, of course not. I was just noting something for myself. I just—
Not talking about this anymore would make me feel both well and good.
Oh, I'm so sorry we interrupted you. We didn't know.
Why? What do you mean?
Even if a father says something his daughter doesn't want to hear, it's important she listen!
Parents always need to be active in their children's lives! Even if she acts like she's not listening, she is.
Well...yeah. I mean... It's just...your daughter is lucky to have her father giving her guidance, that's all.
Well, we're supposed to meet someone here, but...
I don't see her.
I hope not! She promised she was going to help us search for a legendary pirate treasure!
Wait—how do you know so much about treasure hunting if you're just a fisherman?
Oh, is that so...?
Wait a sec...
How do you know what we're looking for?
So this does have something to do with Lunares?
Ahab's eyes really lit up when we started talking about treasure. Did you notice that?
Though I wonder what he means by "Lunares marks the spot."
Oh, great! We weren't sure if we were in the right place or not.
I think we interrupted a friend of ours here. I felt kinda bad about that.
Lady Olivia?
"The most important thing 'bout adventurin' is gettin' you and yer mates back safe!"
Oh, I don't know. We just heard it from a fisherman we met earlier.
Well, I mean, I guess technically I never saw him catch any fish, but...
he said he was a fisherman. I guess he could've been carrying around a rod as a prop...
Oh yeah? What's that?
I'm sorry, what?
That is weird. Do you know what it means?
Lady Olivia, we've seen this before! Those creatures are being controlled by a Doomstone!
The Doomstones make creatures very aggressive.
I see it! Over there!
Have we saved anything yet?
That is strange. I don't think the stones just disappear on their own.
Let's split up and see what we find.
There's something down here between these boards.
It looks like some type of journal or something.
Wow. There's a monster on the cover that really shines in the moonlight. Cool.
Oh, man. These pages are so worn, I can't read—
Well, the first page seems to be OK.
Uh-oh. We're supposed to, um..."beware the seven heads," aren't we?
Sounds like some pretty good rules to live by.
If you're a pirate, that is. Especially the one about real pirates crying.
So how did this journal get here?
Is this the treasure we're looking for?
I don't think King Erik would be very happy if we went back to him with some beat-up journal.
Hmm...
That hint about Lunares leading us to the treasure didn't seem to do much here.
Oh, that fisherman. He said, "If Lunares takes a shinin' to ya, it'll show ya the treasure."
Maybe this journal is some sort of...
Are you OK, Lady Olivia? Is something wrong?
Yeah, that fisherman is some kind of character.
Oh, wait a second!
Didn't he say his name was Ahab?
The journal was signed by an Ahab Pescado! I wonder if that's the same guy!
Pescado... Why does that name sound familiar?
Yeah, I was expecting something big and shiny and, you know, treasure-y!
But I gotta tell you, I can feel something inside that journal. There's a very strong hope in there...
A wish.
Lady Olivia seemed pretty troubled when she left.
I hope she's all right. Let's get some rest, and we'll check on her in the morning.
Miss Olivia!
Did you see any riddle, [Player]?
...I think I'm gonna cry...
That wish is still strong in here...
I could sense it in that journal too. The power of her wish is everywhere.
I'll take that wish and apply it to a riddle-solving attempt, if that's OK with everyone!
We found those seven rules of being a pirate, and the clue was "beware the seven heads," right?
So the question is, what are the seven heads?
Let's take a look at the seven rules again.
I imagine her as a "tee hee" type laugher.
Where did this come from?!
That's so great of you, Ahab! Thanks so much. We'll pass this on to the king right away!
Is Lady Olivia here?
Oh, whew! That's good, because we really need to get back to King Erik.
Doomstones!
We'll be fine. And we'll take care of any Goonstones we see. Doomstones too.
Castele's best researchers are on the case...but they haven't solved anything yet.
The Dark Sultan of who-jiik?!
Good luck with that. HA! Thanks for everything. I'm sure we'll see you two soon.
It has been...quite the experience meeting you all. Maybe next time we'll bring some friends!
Why, thank you, Your Grace. We picked up more than a tan while we were there!
We're glad we could help! And thank you for believing in us.
It was pretty dangerous there for a bit. I got weak in the knees a few times.
I have four knees and two elbows, Your Highness.
This is a nice bit of Dosh, [Player]. We could make a good living just doing this!
Thank you, Your Grace! We just may do that!
I can't wait to go tell Pam about this last adventure!
We just got back from Port Puerto! Don't I look more tan?
I'm an entirely deeper shade of white now!
You'd love it there, Pam. We met a pirate princess. They have great beaches, people named after fish...
Monsters he's never seen before? I wonder what that's about.
[Player]! We've got to read the letter first!
[Player], remember what the fisherman told us earlier? That Lunares will show us where the legendary pirate treasure is hidden.

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Four

Another letter from King Erik, eh?
Maybe we should just move into the castle.
Anyway...I really want to see if Professor Hughes has found out anything yet. Let's go!
That's great to hear! *Although I don't like the way Hughes is glaring at us.*
Oh, well, that's far too kind, Your Grace. "Dynamic"? Why, I've just...I've never been called that before, I—
Does anyone wanna fill us in on what you're talking about? I mean, if it's not too much...
What do you mean?
King Erik?!
Why does that not surprise me?
Pack your bags, [Player]! It looks like we're Al Maajik bound!
*I bet the Dark Sultan is going to have one pretty powerful wish...*
Oh, uh, nothing! I was just thinking out loud about the...stark bacon dish...my mother used to make.
I don't mind saying I'm more than a little nervous about going to Al Maajik.
A desert kingdom, the Dark Sultan... I mean, how much more foreboding could this place be?
I overheard someone saying we can get there if we go south from the West Grassy Plains.
We can always check the map if we get lost.
Take a deep breath... We're off to Al Maajik!
I feel like things are getting a bit serious... I thought we were having fun saving Reveria and whatnot.
According to the map, Al Maajik should be just past this ravine.
Let's be careful. I hope we don't run into anybody out here in the middle of nowhere.
Uh...[Player]?
You did pack your best weapon, right?
I don't think these creatures are interested in witty banter and fair negotiations.
What do you want to do? [Choice: Fight, fight / Peace, man]
Got it! Do your best out there!
Are you sure?
I'm all for peaceful resolutions whenever possible...
I could see if a little magic here would help us out. [Choice: I've got this / Do it]
OK! I'll give it my best shot!
Now close your eyes!
Wow! I can't believe that worked, [Player]!
I thought we were goners that time for sure.
OH, COME ON!
Um...hello? Thank you, Mr. Terrifying Knight. Can you understand what I'm saying?
Me Butterfly. BUTTER...FLY.
I don't think he speaks English.
He's so...big and intimidating. There's something attractive about that.
Let's see where he's going!
I hope it's to Al Maajik!
Looks like we made it, [Player]!
*cough cough* Sand everywhere! Al Maajik wins the award for dustiest town, that's for sure!
If they're giving away awards for stuff like that.
Definitely a different feel compared to Castele and Port Puerto. It's kinda cool!
Whoa!
*[Player]! [Player]! Check out the golden knight over there.*
We gotta find out what this guy's deal is. Maybe he's a hero from a distant land!
Excuse me, sir?
*Who is he talking to? I'm gonna ask.*
WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO OVER THERE?
Uh...OK. Hi.
We're not slaying anyone. Relax. What are you doing over there? Why are you talking to that tree?
You're an actor? Are you in Skull 'n' Funnybonez?!
I...I don't think it works like that, Your Grace. Delivering a request to Al Maajik will not be easy.
Oh! So you really are a hero. You're not just acting like one.
You're here to take on the Dark Sultan, eh?
You don't have to whisper.
Magnificus, we were on our way to see the Dark Sultan, so if you wanted to—
Magnificus, I was saying that maybe we could all head to the Dark Sultan's Fortress together!
So it's settled, then!
We'll tag along with you to the—
Yeah, fine. Whatever you need.
Geez, heroes can be so sensitive.
Maybe it's something about putting on a suit of armor that makes them get all delicate.
Y'know who I bet wouldn't get all touchy is that huge knight we met earlier. The one in all-black armor.
I don't know what we're telling you. But we did run into a very large knight.
He showed up and took care of a pack of Jackals like they were nothing! It was so impressive...
Yes, Magnificus.
*Let's just let Magnificus tag along with us.*
To the Dark Sultan's Fortress!
Look at this place! This isn't what I'd imagined at all!
There's nothing foreboding here. Everyone seems so happy!
Really? I don't know. All these folks look pretty happy to me.
Yeah. Everyone is smiling. I mean, they might just be laughing at you, but still...
OK. Let's go, Mr. Hero of the Marginalized Smilers.
To the Dark Sultan's Fortress!
Floating houses! Flying carpets! WOW!
How are they doing that? Do you think this is some sort of magic trick?
Infiltrate? We were just planning to knock on the front door. Or use the doorbell if they have one.
Are you nervous at all, Magnificus?
I figured that. But just in case, we should all stick together. I think we'll be OK if we just do that.
I do. We'll even lead the way, just because, y'know... a lowly squire must protect the hero.
Now then...to the fortress entrance!
Are you sure, Magnificus?
Because if we go on alone, the glory will probably fall to the lowly squires instead of—
...Well put.
Looks like your metal boots don't have any laces.
Uh...who are you talking to?
Yeah, usually, but...I don't think there are any princesses here in Al Maajik.
Were you expecting to save a princess after you took on the Dark Sultan?
Princess Laura of Castele wanted to come with us here to Al Maajik!
Granted, her father, the king, stopped her, but maybe you two could meet!
What do you think about that match, [Player]?
Yeah, so let's do this, and maybe we can hook you two up later.
We have urgent business with the Dark Sultan.
Of course he is! Haven't you heard of Magnificus?
He's here to free everyone from the...what was it? The sultan's dark tyranny. And take on—
See, Magnificus? There's nothing to worry about. Now we'll get a taste of Al Maajik hospitality.
[Player], what should we do? [Choice: Bring it on / Run away]
That's the spirit! We're not afraid of you! Well... maybe one of us is.
Wait—what?! Really?
Well, if you're not going to do anything, I suppose I COULD cook up a little something...
You're sure you don't want to fight? [Choice: Just kidding / It's all yours]
OK...let's see what I can do here...
No peeking!
All right!
*ahem* Hello? Mr. Dark Sultan, sir? So we're here on a bit of urgent business, if you have a moment...
HA! Yes!
*He's doing it again.* What is it, Magnificus? What are you looking at?
MAGNIFICUS! What are you doing?
But I thought you wanted to meet the Dark Sultan! This is your big chance!
You have issues, Magnificus. Magnificent issues.
Well, if you're not feeling up to it, thanks for helping us get this far!
So I guess this is good-bye, then!
[Player], let's head to Mr. Sultan's room!
*[Player], look over there! That must be him!*
I'm kinda nervous. You talk first.
Well, you see, uh...Your Darkness, we have something important to discuss with you.
...!
I don't believe it... Magnificus was right!
...What?
OK, what's going on? Is this a joke?
An honor? Are you...friends with King Erik?
...Yeah. Y'know, friends.
Like comrades, buddies, pals, chums, mates, cohorts...compadres?
But...I mean, you do have some friends, don't you?
*Stop me before I say something that's going to get us both in big trouble!*
That's not quite how it works.
But King Erik has been great to [Player] and me. I'm sure he'd like to have you visit him in Castele.
Right!
Let me give you the full explanation on what's happened thus far!
...But for some reason, he just kept pretending his armored boots had laces on them. It was weird.
Oh! Sorry! I was rambling.
You probably knew all of this from your mind- and soul-reading magic, or whatever it is.
Oh, really? How'd it go?
Uhh, sorry to interrupt...
I know you still need to...firm up your plans for destroying Castele, but right now, if we could just—
WHAT?! No, you can't do that! Look, Reveria is in trouble, and if you don't put your squabbles aside—
Why is that?
That sounds terrible! You can't let them trap you like that!
Lord Damien.
Isn't there anything we can do to help, Damien?
Is there anything we can say that would convince you to not go through the trial?
Wait a second, Damien! This isn't the end, right?
We'll see you again someday. After all, we're all friends now! Right?
Friends! Yes! So we'll see each other again!
Hey, what do you think Demona meant when she told Damien to "deal with our memories"?
Wasn't it weird that Damien and his mom were talking about getting back at Castele right in front of us?
Who said that?
Your voice got so deep there, [Player]! Say something else!
Oh my... Your voice is so strong and powerful, Mr. Great Knight Sir Odin.
Whatever you say, Sir Just Odin.
Oh, well, that was nice of him!
What's that?
What? Why would he do that?
So he relieved you of duty so you can experience the world while he's undergoing the trial? Wow.
What's the conflict? Ditch the armor and find something you want to do with your Life!
...Bye.
[Player], I feel there's more going on here than meets the compound eye.
Let's stay here for the night. I need some time to cook up a plan. I think Damien needs our help.
Plus, I'm not leaving here without knowing where we can find the next Goddess Treasure!
Yes, Lord Damien told us this would be a good place to rest for the night.
Well...yeah, I guess we are.
It sounds like we're not the only ones who will be sad to see Lord Damien go.
Let's get some rest, [Player].
I want to get up early and catch Damien tomorrow before he embarks on his trial.
I still think maybe we can help him somehow. But if not, we can still say good-bye.
I mean, we are his friends now, right? We can at least show him what that means!
The only thing finished is Lord Damien's freedom.
What are you talking about?
Magnificus, what are you talking about? Why is the fortress empty?
They must be starting the trial already, [Player]! We need to get to the Aridian Desert!
This might be our last chance to see Lord Damien, [Player]!
The sand just goes on forever...
How are we going to track down Lord Damien?
[Player]! We've got to hurry!
Odin! A pleasure to see you again!
Odin? Why are you still here?
I thought you were going to travel the world!
Y'know, see the ocean. Climb a mountain. Damien gave you your freedom!
You don't want to waste this chance to be able to achieve what it is you truly want in Life, right?
Now that you're free to choose, what do you want to do? I need some theme music here!
[Player], are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Let's go!
Sorry, Magnificus. Everybody has to fend for themselves at some point. Good luck!
Odin! Wait!
No way! We're Damien's friends too. And if you're going to help him, we're going to help you!
Well, we better find Damien! Let's go!
...That didn't sound good.
Hey, [Player]! That's a Shadow Monster, isn't it?
W-wait a second, [Player]! One wrong move and we're goners...
Where is the Doomstone? There has to be one around here somewhere!
We have to find it!
...That voice...
The Doomstone?!
That beast must've eaten it!
OK, [Player], you know what to do! Smash that Doomstone to smithereens!
AAAHHHH! RUN!
Oh. Of course. I knew that.
As you see, the Doomstone is capable of taking a creature who is so...*ahem* full of natural beauty...
and turning it into a dark, dangerous beast. Totally unlike this wonderful creature here. HA!
Noelia?! What are you doing here?!
Magnificus?!
Noelia, what do you want with that stone?!
I'm sorry, Lord Damien. Her name is Noelia.
Isn't Mr. Old Sultan, like, banished to some... banished place?
How is Damien supposed to find him?
*We work so hard all our lives to hide what it is we truly want...*
*Are we happy being the person that such effort transforms us into...?*
We're coming with you, Damien.
That is one mean-looking statue.
I'm sensing something very powerful coming from within that thing...
I'd stay a couple steps back if I were you.
Uh-oh... I don't see how this could be good.
The Dark Sultan seems like he'd be a really good therapist, don't you think?
Yeah, it seems that egos are much more brittle and fussy than statues.
What do you think, Damien?
HA! I was hoping you'd say that!
That's the spirit, [Player]!
HA!
Come on, [Player]!
This is for everyone's benefit!
Yeeks. Looks like the former sultan might want to see about getting imprisoned again.
Whoa, that was amazing! Can you teach us how to do that?
Eldred! You're awake!
Why do you care about that?
Um, actually...
you're the former. Damien here is the Dark Sultan.
I hate to interrupt all of these deep, philosophical examinations, but...
has Lord Damien passed the trial or what?
There can be only one Dark Sultan, I suppose.
Those are wise words, Lord Damien.
Yes, sir!
We shall happily deliver this letter, Lord Damie—er... Dark Sultan. Sir!
Well, shall we be off, then?
Magnificus! Are you OK?
We're just tying up some loose ends. How are you feeling?
Looks like you're in better shape than the last time we saw you. Noelia was having her way with you.
*sigh* Typical Noelia...
Oh, no problem, Odin. We'd do anything for you.
Besides, we're the ones who should be thanking all of you! It's been quite a ride!
All right. [Player], let's get the Goddess Compass back to Castele! The fate of Reveria depends on us!
Of course we will! That's what friends do!
Uh...yes. The battle was...fierce. Very fierce. The kind of battle that's difficult to talk about afterward...
Uh...a big man. Like, you mean, a tall one? HA!
[Player] here was quite the
YES! A change of subject! Great!
Well, we "defeated him" by...um, well, how do I say this? By becoming good friends with him!
We sure did! And boy, are my arms tired! HA!
Heh heh... Um, well, anyway. He gave us this letter!
Thank you, Your Majesty! The bounds of your generosity stretch far too—
[Player], let's go see what Pam is up to! I want to fill her in on what happened!
Oh, we're great! The Dark Sultan is quite a great fellow, actually.
We have so much to tell you! But I'm starting to run low on steam here...
[Player], we'd better read the letter first!

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Five

Seriously, I think we should just ask the king to move us into the Royal Court.
It sounds like something big is going on.
Let's make King Erik wait for a bit. I mean, we're not just at his beck and call, right?
We've already got all of the Goddess Treasures. ... Maybe he's figured out something important?
OK, that's enough. To the castle!
Wow... Seems like everyone here woke up on the wrong side of the bed, eh?
Surprise!
OH, COME ON!
That was an epic finger point, Hughes!
You mean, like, a spirit?!
You want us to go and get it!
So...how do we get to this mythical place?
Wait—so you don't even know where this place is?!
What? Ophelia! Why did you not say something?
*Why didn't the queen speak up earlier?*
What makes it forbidden?
Does she really? I didn't know that.
How big is giant?
Sir, yes, sir!
Is there something we should know?
Let's go, [Player]!
What is it, Laura?
Um...thanks! *Er...are you allowed to?*
Are you OK, Queen Ophelia?
Well, we were just on our way there now to see if we can recover the stone before anything happens.
The king sounded like he wanted to tell us something about it, but he stopped himself.
I don't know. Maybe I just imagined that.
Treasure bestowed upon the spirits?!
Do you mean the fourth Goddess Treasure? It's in the Elderwood?
No kidding?!
The Elderwood is where we're headed now. And the fourth treasure may be there...? How convenient!
What's a Danuta?
Your Highness, why are you telling us all this?
This forest has children?
And...where do we find this Spirit Tree?
Go deep in the woods. Find the sacred place. Take a right. Sounds good!
Uh...what do you mean? Laura is...here in the castle.
Wow! You're good!
Sorry, Laura. We were just getting some final bits of advice on how to navigate the forest.
*gulp* What do you mean by that?
That sounds horrible!
I don't know about this... We might be in over our heads here.
Yeah, what then?!
That Doomstone might turn all of the creatures in the forest into evil Shadow Monsters!
What's wrong, Laura?
Well, I guess that means we're going in, eh?
*It's Pierre and Butch!*
*Let's go find out what they're up to.*
What else is new?
We've seen this before...
Well, that was beyond bizarre.
Isn't that Hughes over there?
Yeah. Who said that?
Well, that was...foreboding.
What do you think was up with that funny little spirit?
I mean...should we really be doing this? It sounds like we might be trespassing on something sacred here.
But at the same time, we have to find the Doomstone.
I'm not afraid to admit I'm...afraid. It looks pretty scary in there.
Wait! The queen's letter! Do you think that little guy was one of the forest dwellers?
Why am I the only one talking?!
What is it, Laura?
What did the queen say?
Listen for the voices of the spirits...
I'm terrified...but I'm right behind you, Laura!
Your mother told us she thinks the last Goddess Treasure is hidden somewhere in the Elderwood.
Yes, she told us as we were going to meet you. She knew you were coming with us, by the way.
Perhaps these spirits will guide us to the treasure... with their voices?
Yeah, sure, it's just, y'know...trees and...monsters.
We've got to get ourselves together, Laura!
Look, we're just going deeper into the forest. We know the forest! There's nothing that's any different—
Is that...what a spirit sounds like? ...Maybe?
This doesn't look good.
It's a young girl being attacked by a pack of Shadow Monsters!
Thanks. I've been working on that.
So where's the Doomstone? I don't see it!
[Player]!
Well, [Player]...? [Choice: I'll fight / $$I'm not fighting]
Good luck!
Really? You're not going to fight?
I don't know if I'll be able to soothe these savage beasts, though!
Are you sure you don't want to fight? [Choice: OK, I'll fight / I'm sure]
OK, then. Cross your fingers and close your eyes!
Excuse me, poochie. Heh heh. Nice doggies...
Diplomatic understanding reached! Boy, you're really testing my ability as a mediator, [Player]!
Are you OK, miss?
Looks like the Paladin's report was right.
Nice to meet you. *I think she was referring to you "humans," Laura.*
You can call them hoomins—don't worry about it. The princess here thought you meant something else.
Let's just move on... Leilah, we're looking for a Doomstone. Have you seen one?
It's a dangerous stone that falls from the sky. It's all black and shadowy and creepy looking.
Village? So...there are people who live in the forest?
Should we go see this elder?
I thought you said you lived in a village. That looks like a cave to me.
we call this a cave. Not a village.
Wait a second. Do you think those voices are...
Now who's stating the obvious?
Look! Is that...a Goddess Statue?
We saw the same one in Port Puerto and Al Maajik...
Which would mean the Goddess spent some time here in Elderwood Village as well!
It's that kid we saw earlier!
Is that really...a law?
So you're, like, hoomothers. HA!
Uh, so yeah. We were hoping we could see your village chief or elder or whatever you call her.
What do you mean by "unproven"?
Well, if we're unproven, then surely there's a way for us to become "proven," no?
Is there some sort of exam...or special training we'd need? An obstacle course maybe?
No, I could never... Wait—what do you mean?
Oh, yeah, these are just your normal, everyday, run- of-the-mill Castele butterfly markings. No big deal.
But...but I'm a butterfly...
*I didn't think that would work!*
Wait! Children of the forest?!
I've got a letter!
We're supposed to give this letter to the "children of the forest"!
From Ophelia! The queen of Castele.
Could it be the effects of the Doomstone?
Well, I don't know for certain, but if the Doomstones have the power to possess creatures...
Leilah was bitten earlier by one of those very Shadow Monsters filled with the stone's energy.
Could the Doomstone's power somehow have... infected her through the bite?
...I don't know what to do.
If she is indeed... I mean, I don't KNOW it's the Doomstone, but if it is...
Maybe I could use my powers to hold back some of the Doomstone's energy.
Everyone, just...stand back!
[Player]! Let's hurry up and read that letter!

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Six

I'm so excited for this summit!
I wonder if I should change first... Hrm. Maybe not. Wings are good for casual and business attire.
I hope Olivia and Damien are able to make it too!
[Player], let's hurry to the castle!
Y'know what, [Player]?
I'm thinking maybe I should go more formal for this and take my true form.
I don't want anyone to think I'm trying to pull one over on them.
This is an important affair, after all!
Ta-da!
What's this?!
Wasteful use? What do you mean, Father?
Really? Why not?
Ah, that makes sense.
What? Why?
I promise to search Lunares every night.
I promise! We'll be super careful!
Good-bye, Father!
But when I descended onto Reveria and spoke with the people...
everyone was so...how to put it...focused only on their own needs...
It sounds like you're saying you don't care if Reveria is destroyed!
Just wait! I want to know how you can't care about Reveria being destroyed! Just explain this to me—
Well, yeah, but—
Ooh, let me know if you figure out how to do that! I'd love to try that out.
Port Puerto, here we come!
OK! We're leaving now—for real this time!
Was it just me, or was Andy a bit weird when he was talking about this Crankshaft guy?
I hope we're not getting in over our heads here... I don't even know if that's possible at this point.
Let's take the airship to Port Puerto. Time is of the essence here! I'm gonna hop on you real quick.
Onward, [Player]!
*This guy is making me dizzy just looking at him.*
Your hearing is fine, sir...Crankshaft. I am a talking butterfly. Do you happen to know anything about—
Yes?
Look, we just wanted to ask you a couple questions, but if you're not interested—
*Sheesh, what is this guy's problem?*
Miss Olivia said you were the chief pilot in this town. I can't believe they'd put you in a position like that.
Maybe they were talking about another Crankshaft. My mistake. Good day.
Excuse me. Sorry to just interrupt here.
Well, we've come here from Castele.
We're looking for a pilot called Robin. Do you know him, by any chance?
So you do know him?!
Can you take us to see him? Please? We have a very important matter to discuss with him.
I'm Yuelia, and this is [Player].
Huh?! Oh no, I... I don't know what you mean.
He lives inside your workshop?
Ever since what?
Sorry to interrupt your work here.
I'm Yuelia, and this is [Player].
This may sound like an odd question, but...do you know anything about Terra Nimbus?
We talked to Falcon earlier, or rather he crashed a meeting we were having, and...
Well, he said he's actually seen Terra Nimbus.
He seemed to think your piloting skills might just actually...well, that maybe you'd be able to find it.
Well, to be honest, we don't know what to believe. But that's why we wanted to talk to you!
If there's anything you can do to help us, we'd really appreciate it. There isn't much time before...
Uh...y'know, before...the end of Reveria.
We hope.
The other...? Oh no.
Yeah...I think I know her.
Hello, Noelia.
We want to find Terra Nimbus.
And we need Robin to take us there.
No! We're not leeching off anybody.
Yes, she did.
What?
Wait. Noelia, is that what you've been doing with those Doomstones?!
You've been using them to make a Floatstone?
Really? That's what you're going with here?
Yay! Let's have an explanation!
Even after it's all broken up?
You can do that?
I doubt that.
Wow. What can I say except that...I'm impressed.
But, Noelia, why are you suddenly so interested in Terra Nimbus?
What?!
Are you sure? How did you find that out?
Aurora...what...what was that?
Aurora...? Are you OK?
*What is she looking at?*
What is that in your hand?
You can barely see it!
!
You don't know that for certain!
Aurora, is there anything we can do to help?
Don't throw that stone away, Aurora! I'll take it.
Thank you!
[Player], let's go see Crankshaft again.
This stone may have lost its floating power...
but I think there may be something very pure still inside this tiny little thing.
Something that Crankshaft might be interested in.
*Looks like someone's still hitting the Barley Juice...*
Crankshaft, we need your help finding Terra Nimbus.
I think Terra Nimbus is real.
You're not the only one who can get an airship off the ground, y'know.
Aurora and Robin are just about done preparing an airship for its first flight.
Yes. And it's almost ready.
Robin is confident he can reach Terra Nimbus...
Well, he's going to give it his best try anyway.
Do you know what this is, Crankshaft?
It's Aurora's. She said you gave it to her many years ago. She's kept it ever since.
Remember the promise you made her when she was little? That you'd use this to find Terra Nimbus?
That stone wasn't the only gift. You gave her a promise that day as well.
Robin came to Port Puerto just to work with you.
Doesn't that mean something to you?
You brushed him off, but Robin isn't complaining. He just went right to work on that airship.
Don't you think you've had enough Barley Juice?!
HA! Now that's what I wanted to hear!
Did you see that?!
That Floatstone... It was glowing for a second there!
There's still a little bit of juice left in that thing!
Well, [Player], I think we're back on track!
[Player] volunteers!
Noelia, there's only one passenger seat.
[Player], I've got butterflies in my stomach!
There's probably a better way of saying that...
But I know it does! And we're going there!
You worked so hard to get this airship running. How can you be so pessimistic?
You know, [Player], this reminds me of...
...It's almost like how I got to Reveria.
I was flying through the clouds...
but everything past that is just a blur.
It's an island! An island in the sky!
I remember how I landed in Reveria now!
I was flying through the clouds, and then before I knew what was happening...
everything just stopped. And suddenly I was screaming as I plummeted to the ground.
I didn't do that.

Tale of Lunares: Final Chapter

Let's go have some fun! Life is just beginning!

Flutter 001 What's a...Guild Office?

Don't you dare swat me!
I'm not a bug! Open your eyes! I'm a butterfly!
Yeah, you might've heard me shouting earlier. [Player] saved my wings from some ruffians.
It wasn't me! It was those ruffians making the ruckus!
Well...the best we could do was make me a bow tie.
Never mind. Inside joke.
So, I'm curious about your opinion on something... Which Life would best suit a butterfly?
That sounds great! Is there really a Life like that?!
Umm...are you sure this is...pesticide?

Flutter 002 Shop Till We Drop!

Wow! You've got a little bit of everything here!
Thanks! Will do!
You have so much stuff here... Do you specialize in anything in particular?
Sure. If that's OK with you!
Wow! That really is delicious!
Can I try some of that too?
Great! Thank you for your hospitality.
It's really, really...musty. It kinda tastes like...feet.
I'd prefer juice as well.
I like acquiring things! Go ahead and hit me with a little splash!
Thank you so much! I love samples.

Flutter 003 Time for Adventuring!

The East Grassy Plains, eh? Pretty creative name.
These plains look kinda interesting...
THAT'S what they should've named this place—the East Grassy Kinda Interestings... They'd get a lot more buzz that way.
Hey, let's go see what that Paladin knows about the monsters in this area.
Is he...sleeping standing up? I thought only Horses knew how to do that.
Um, excuse me...?
Hey there, Horse sleeper!
Whoa, relax, pal! I was wondering if you could tell us a little bit about the Grassy Plains here...
This one seems a bit overworked or high strung or something. Maybe we'd be better off on our own.
Are you sure you don't want it?
Yeah, I have a question: Are there any monsters that might eat butterflies out there?

Flutter 004 Tale of the Goddess

So this is the famous Goddess Statue I've heard so much about, eh?
...Pretty sure I just said that.
Actually, we're kind of busy right now, so if—
...And what year was dirt born, exactly?
And the Goddess heard their wishes and saved them all because that's what Goddesses do, right?
Their Life! You're talking about taking up a Life!
That's why some call her the Life Goddess!
Why do you—*ahem* WHY DO YOU THINK THAT IS?!
But people still have wishes! They just have to know their wishes matter, right?
If everyone felt every Life would help fulfill every other Life, the wishes would be endless!
Yeah, well...it's just a matter of showing everyone the power of their wishes!
Maybe I should go on a wish-collecting mission!
If you had one wish, [Player], what would it be?
What about you, Gramps? What would your wish be?
What?! Don't say that!
You can't stop wishing! Ever!
This is great! I'm gonna hear wishes from all sorts of people! I want to hear everyone's wishes!
Don't you want to know what my wish is?
It's a secret! HA!
Yikes. I hope I didn't offend the ol' guy too much.
I'm sure he'll get over it. I've got a few places on my agenda that I'm itching to visit. Wanna join me?
Whaddya say? [Choice: OK / Nah...]
Great! Let's get a move on!
Oh, come on! Do I have to stop giving you a choice?

Flutter 005 The History of Castele

This is the library?
Well, it certainly smells like one. Doesn't that scent of musty leather and ink just make you wanna...learn?
Where are the history books? Let me at 'em!
Wow! There are just so many...words here! I'm gonna need some help turning all of these pages!
Eep! I'm sorry. I'm still getting used to the whole... y'know, having a voice thing. Heh heh.
I just got so excited! I love books. You must too! I've seen you reading outside in the square before.
Me too! I love learning things about the world. I'll learn about anything—toads, tools, toes, whatever.
Oooh! Do you have any books on Doomstones?
Really? So that old man knew what he was talking about after all, huh?
OK, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.
Do you have anything on the history of the Goddess?
What?! Do you think I can't read?
Yeah, or any book lover.
But, uh...artwork sounds good too. Y'know, just for a start. I wouldn't wanna gloss over that stuff.
We got it covered. Thanks!
Really? Wow! Thank you so much!
Wait. If you're the only librarian here...
how do you ever get to spend time outside? Y'know, in the sunlight?
But when I've seen you outside, you're always just reading.
HA! Fair enough! Well, you're doing a great job here, I must say.
We need to make this a regular stop, [Player]!
I want to be the most knowledgeable butterfly Reveria has ever seen! ...Shouldn't be too hard.
Y'know what I think, [Player]? I think you'd look good in a pair of scholarly glasses!

Flutter 006 A Visit to the Pet Shop!

What kinds of pets do you have?
Well, that wasn't really what I meant.
But I guess that answer is as good as any!
What? I'm not anyone's pet!
That's OK. Sorry if I flew off the handle there. I don't think I qualify as a pet.
Actually, the way I dog this one here, I'm actually more of a freeloader.
Oh, lighten up, birdbrain.
So what's the deal here? You just give away these pets? For free?
Sounds fishy to me!
Sorry—was that too catty?
You're an odd one. But lucky for you, I'm an animal lover...being one myself.
So whaddya got in the animal-pal department?
Do you have anything really, really cute? Y'know, like baby-in-a-bear-suit, drive-Grandma-crazy cute?
Aw, go on... No really, go on...

Flutter 007 Attic with a View

Wait! Are you kicking us out?
You're kicking us out.
Next to Steele's House in the Artisan District? OK.
Next to Falcon's Hangar in South Castele. Check.
Well, thanks for thinking about us. But I couldn't imagine us living somewhere farther away from you!
Whaddya think, [Player]? Wanna take a peek?
Pam, can I ask you... How did you come to inherit 50 batches of quiche?

Flutter 008 Ride like the Wind!

Wait! We wanted to ask you about something.
We'd like to ride a Horse!
What if we proved our worth with some Horse puns?
No. But we really want a Horse!
Oh, cute!
These Horses sound like they're all business.
OK! Let's give it a try, [Player]!
How do we get our wings on one of these, Beth?
What do you mean?
Gross...
Oh, that sounds great! I want my own Horse!

Flutter 009 Pierre and Butch

Well it looks as if one of you does have manners, after all. You're very welcome, Chompy.
Oh yeah? For us? Thanks, Chompy!
Aw, that's very nice. It's the least we could do!
I'm just glad Chompy is OK!
You guys try to stay out of trouble, now. And remember: make some Dosh!
There's a wonderful power in committing to what you want, Butch!
Your wish has been heard!
I think you'll be quite pleased in the future, Butch!
I didn't do anything to him! Relax!
Well, yes, I always sparkle! I am a butterfly, after all.
What's that, Chompy?
I think he liked it when I sparkled!
I think my sparkling had pretty much the opposite effect of what that stone did to him...
You're not planning to swipe that Doomstone again, are you?
We still don't know...
Hughes took the shards, but we haven't heard anything from him yet.
Hey, that sounds like a good credo, Butch!
You should remember that one as you take on this new commitment of yours!
Don't forget to actually get yourself some food while you're basking in the joy of your new credo!

Flutter 010 The Adventure Continues!

The West Grassy Plains, eh? Ahhh...the grass here just smells...more western than in the other plains...
Yikes! There's a little girl all by herself over there.
Excuse me, little girl. Are you lost?
It's dangerous for a little one like you to be all alone out here.
Aw, that's so adorable. So, do you have any big, scary animals on your farm?
Sorry... You're just so cute and little.
Yeah, don't do that...
Well, I don't think that's really fair. Some people in the city work very hard.
Uh... I work very hard flapping my wings constantly. It's quite the workout!
Oh, that's great! You're a very good salesperson. Have you ever thought about going into marketing?
That's so generous of you. Thank you!
That's really smart to rely on word of mouth!
Thank you so much!
I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were working. Thanks for your time.
That all makes sense to me! I think it's a great way to look at things!

Flutter 011 The Apple Princess

That's great news, Princess Laura!
You don't have to use that nasty, old Rope Ladder to leave the castle anymore!
Be sure not to worry your parents, Laura.
Sounds like that would be your greatest wish, eh?
Well, your wish has been heard!
Don't look at me. I didn't do anything.
It was probably just a rush of blood from all of the excitement. It happens, y'know! I think.
Ha! Hiding? Yeah, I'm keeping a cache of Dandelion Puffs in my pockets! What would I be hiding?
Not. Funny.

Flutter 012 Dinky Dad

So the Napdragon is back to its sleepy old self?
That's great to hear! Any word from Hughes on the Goddess Cog yet?
You're making the right move, Your Majesty!
Of course we will!

Flutter 013 Professor Hughes

Professor Hughes?
Uh...what do you want that for?
Say, how's the research on the Goddess Cog going? HA! Say that five times fast.
You seem a bit frustrated.
You can put your arm down now, Hughes.
Sounds like you still have a lot of work to do.
But if Shadow Monsters start appearing all over Reveria wherever these stones happen to fall—
Umm...Professor Hughes?
He's sleeping with his eyes open. That is so creepy!
...You don't have to call me Mummy.
Are you sure you're OK?
Thank you for that. But you should still sleep if you're that tired. And you sound that tired.
So...that's what you want most, Professor Hughes?!
Well, your wish has been heard!
You can put your arm down, Mr. Hughes.
Don't worry—we'll apologize to Dinky. You really need to get some sleep, Hughes.

Flutter 014 Life Master of...Everything?

Hello!
You heard our footsteps coming up the mountain?!
Well, we hadn't really had a chance to say hello properly, so we thought we'd drop by...
I don't like the sound of that.
It looks like you have quite a bit going on here.
*Much more than we need to see.* HA!
You can what?! Really? I mean, if that's true, do you know what's going on with Lunares? How will it end?
So...what is it telling you? What do you see?
Please tell me you're joking again.
I promise I'll get it this time.
This doesn't sound good at all.
Is that some sort of magical garment that will keep us safe?

Flutter 015 Mysterious House on the Plains

Hello!
AAAH! Kill it! Kill it!
Sorry. You just...startled me, that's all. I shouldn't be so surprised, considering...
Oh! Yes, well...thank you. That's very...aggressively nice of you.
I'm no entrepreneur, but wouldn't you get more business if you weren't out in the middle of nowhere?
Maybe...we should come back another time.
You have butterfly wigs?!
Um...you're quite the compelling salesflower.
Neither of these guys seem good at dealing with customers, eh, [Player]?
HA! Why-why would anyone say something like that?

Flutter 016 The Wild Blue Yonder!

Do you have a special fare for butterflies?
When did you register here, [Player]? I don't remember you doing it...
Minister!
Wow! That's so kind, Minister. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
What?! We still have to pay?
*We're with the Minister here, y'know.*
HA! You said per person. So we can both go for 100 Dosh, seeing as I am clearly not a person.
Oh, I'll be very discreet. No one will even notice I'm around.
My lips are sealed!
...
HA! Just kidding. Thank you again, Minister!

Flutter 017 Pro Pirate: Olivia Pescado!

Wow. It's going to take me a bit to get used to seeing you like this, Lady Olivia!
What?! No! It's great. I mean, you look beautiful!
There must be a better way of saying that...
Did you feel that, Olivia?
Your wish has been heard!
We're your friends, Lady Olivia! You can talk to us about anything!
We wanted to tell you that Professor Hughes is studying the Goddess Anchor as we speak.
He's the best researcher in Castele, so if there's anything there to be found, he'll find it!
We'll let you know as soon as we hear something from Professor Hughes. We should be thanking you!

Flutter 018 Pro Assistant: Andy Pescado!

Oh, let's not go through this again, Andy...
Andy, please, you mustn't. We do not require such an extravagant feast or banquet or anything!
Ah...no...Andy, look. We really, really appreciate the effort. But I don't know how else to tell you this...
We just don't have time to hang around and party.
Andy! No. Feast. Read my little butterfly lips. None. Nada. Zilch. Feast, party, or banquet! Why don't you just throw yourself a banquet?
Yeah, I mean, if you're so into these parties, you can just...have one for yourself, right?
Come clean? What do you mean?
Ooh, what was that? Did you feel a tingle?
I'm sure you'll beat your seasickness one day, Andy!
Definitely! I know it!
And when you do, we want to be the first guests aboard your ship!

Flutter 019 Land-Ho!

Ahoy there, landlubbers!
Oh yeah? Why not? You gone soft on us, Brutus?
Well, I still don't like it all that much...
It's great to hear that you've mellowed out.
Um...I don't think so. Perhaps another time!
These are great! Thanks. I'll cherish them...arrrrways.
Done! So how are things going with you guys and Lady Olivia? Everything still OK?
Wow! Look at that! Multiple wishes shining through!
I've never seen that before!
Um...I don't know. Must be the sweat of a hard day's work, I guess.
You all seem to have a bit of a glow about you now as well!
Cap'n Brutus! Remember what you said! You're mellowed out now, remember?

Flutter 020 Elise's Lighthouse

Ahoy there, Ahab!
We wanted to get a view of Port Puerto from the top of the lighthouse.
Amazing. Just ocean as far as the eye can see. There's something so magical about all that water...
Where did you catch this?!
Can I ask you a question that has been on my mind?
Why don't you help Andy and Olivia with their duties governing Port Puerto?
What do you mean?
I guess I hadn't thought about it like that.
That's good about wanting your children to be independent and everything...
but tell me if I'm wrong. I mean...
I've noticed you do seem to be kind of hovering around quite a bit...
It seems this lighthouse really holds a special place for you and your memories of your wife.
I'm sorry to hear that. She sounds like she was a wonderful woman.
It's true!
I've heard so much about the desert kingdom. It sounds so mystical!
Do you know much about it?
For you to talk about him like that, the Dark Sultan must have been pretty terrifying!
We'll let you know what we find out!

Flutter 021 Holiday Home: Port Puerto

Thanks for what?
Uh...well. I'm glad we could be of...help, I suppose.
Well, we're glad we were of assistance in your... elitist sailing metaphor.
Oh, there's no need, really. We're happy to help anyone who needs it.
That's...that's your gift?
So we could instantly come to Port Puerto whenever we wanted, eh? That does sound kinda nice...
What's the catch?

Flutter 022 Friends with the Sultan

Damien! Is this a bad time?
How is the new Dark Sultan?
...Take it over where?
What do you mean?
You had me worried there! I thought you were talking about going to war with Castele!
That is a great wish.
Your wish has been heard!
Good luck with that...
So I never got to officially congratulate you on passing your trial!
Now we can all travel together, right? You, us, and maybe Odin too?
We'll take it!
Sound good, [Player]?
What a great cloak! Is that the same as the one you're wearing?
Try it on, [Player]! I wanna see!

Flutter 023 Honor and Friendship

Hello again, Odin!
That's it?! Just "Yes. Hello"?!
Odin, I wanted to bring this up again because I feel we didn't get to finish our conversation earlier.
Yeah...that's kind of what I wanted to talk about. Don't you ever want something for yourself?
Well, I guess that's about as far as we're gonna get going down that path!
...Your wish, if we can call it that, has been heard!
You're really committed to this whole strong-and- silent-type thing, aren't you?
What does being silent have to do with your service to Damien?
Wow, I never thought about it like that! I guess I prohibit my ability to listen quite a bit, eh?
You and [Player] here should get along great!
See!
It's tough to get anything out of
You could've gotten more out of the former sultan when he was a statue!
See! You don't have to be so alert when you're with us. You can loosen up a bit.
There's no way [Player] would ever harm Damien!
For someone who doesn't talk much, you can speak rather elegantly at times, Odin.

Flutter 024 Easy Come, Easy Go

Magnificus?
What were you looking at?
We'll pass on the whole...fortifying-your-loins thing. Magnificus, when are you just going to drop this whole thing? The Dark Sultan is a good person!
Oh, really? You make the first move.
But didn't you say we were your "former" allies?
Thank you.
For the last time, if you know what's good for you, you'll leave Damien alone.
But there is no "fearsome" Dark Sultan!
He has a dog he loves very much.
Those who serve him respect him deeply.
Not that I've seen.
You might have him on that one.
Um, so...it looks like that's as far as your desires go.
I don't have to like it, Magnificus, but I'll tell you that your wish has been heard.
Yeah...I doubt it.
So I suppose you'll be going after Damien by yourself, eh?
That sounds great! Do you want to go now?

Flutter 025 Of Magic and Flowers

How's it feel to be a former sultan?
Oh, sorry. Should we go?
Wow! Thank you!
Well...yeah. I wouldn't say he was too thrilled.
Oh, no, he's quite active as a ruler. He is just a young boy now, after all.
But if he were too old, you still wouldn't be able to have any fun with him...
Any idea what your next move might be?
HA! So even someone as powerful as you is afraid of something!
So that's where Andy gets it from...
I doubt that.
What bear?
That sounds like a fascinating bear! Maybe we can meet it someday.
You seem to be taking this whole thing rather lightly!

Flutter 026 Maajikal Library

Wow! This library is HUGE!
Ah, Lady Demona...
My apologies. I couldn't help but be impressed by your library! It makes the one in Castele look tiny!
Er...sorry. Sheesh.
*...Last time I'm ever giving her a compliment.*
So you're going to be giving Damien his training?
I thought that was the job of the former sultan...
But you can't make him study all the time, either. He'll get exhausted and burn out!
Besides, everyone in Al Maajik already respects him. How much more training does he really need?
Er...sorry. Sheesh.
I think I just heard someone's greatest desire...
Lady Demona, whether you like it or not, your wish has been heard!
We're not up to anything! We just wanted to find out more about the history of Reveria.
The people of Al Maajik certainly seem to have trouble saying the word "friend."
Thank you very much!
This will be useful if we're reading at night!
Sorry! Er... *I mean, sorry.*

Flutter 027 Holiday Home: Al Maajik

Hello!
It was, thank you, Eldred! You seem to be in better spirits than when last we saw you.
Were you able to drop the Dark Mage title like you were hoping?
Not at all! I actually thought it was a very impressive performance! Your chanting voice is lovely.
Poor Magnificus was terrified when we told him you were the Dark Mage Eldred.
He said something about being frightened by the terrible power of your dirty shorts.
Well...I would never have guessed that, but the world needs Dark Mage dog walkers, I suppose!
Oooh! A magical retreat?
I love it! Thanks, Eldred!
Oh. HA! Sorry...
Oh, well, that's very kind of you, Eldred. Thank you.
You mean we could return to Al Maajik in an instant just by opening our map?
...Yeah, literally.
Oh, nothing... Nothing at all.

System Quest 003

[Player]! Good morning!
There are a lot of places I'd like to check out! Will you come with me?
Hey, [Player]! What's up? [Choice: Bliss check! / Never mind]
[Player], do you have a sec to chat?
Good choice!
OK, maybe later!
The Grassy Plains are huge, aren't they? So wide and sweeping. Majestic, even.
...I mean, can you believe it?! I can't believe the Guild Master would do something like—
Oh! Sorry! Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.
But I do still think it would be so cool to see a massive meteor shower, don't you?!
I'm so glad we were able to save Chompy! Those two guys sure are good for some comic relief.
But just seeing Butch in the library was enough to make me... I mean, I know I shouldn't laugh, but—
Oh! Sorry! Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.
Hey, I was just thinking...wouldn't it be cool to see a dragon up close?! Like, right up in its face!
I'm so happy that Laura can leave the castle freely again! Yay! I was thinking, though, that maybe we could join up with her and go on an adventure somewhere...
...I mean, he's not wearing anything but underpants! On a mountain! How can he not be freezing?!
Oh! Sorry! Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.
Hey, I was thinking...wouldn't it be cool to meet some real-deal pirates! Y'know, the "Haaar!" kind?
Olivia's palace robes seem to suit her just as well as her pirate clothes, don't you think?
...But a banquet lasting an entire year?! I mean, how much time does he think we have to just sit around—
Oh! Sorry! Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.
Hey, I was just thinking...wouldn't it be cool to see one of Reveria's dark Wizards work their powers?!
I can't believe Magnificus still wants to fight Damien. Talk about obstinate!
...I bet Magnificus talks more in one hour than Odin does in a whole year!
Oh! Sorry! Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.
Hey, I was just thinking...wouldn't it be cool if we found a huge talking bear?! Like...a huge one!
Let's check your Bliss!
It doesn't look like you've picked up any Bliss since our last check.

Butterfly

Oh, are you playing with friends? Pretty fun, eh?
You really seem to have come a long way in your Life thus far, [Name 1]!
So, [Player]! What can I do for you? [Choice: A Bliss check! / Never mind]
Hey, [Player]. Let's chat for a second.
A quick check-in never hurt anybody!
OK! Maybe later, then!
The Grassy Plains are huge, aren't they? So wide and sweeping and...grassy.
...I mean, can you believe it? Why would the Guild Master do something like that?!
Oh. Sorry. Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.
I've never seen a meteor shower before, but I've always wanted to...
I'm glad little Chompy returned to normal! Butch was so happy.
...And you'll never guess what Butch was doing in the library! He was actually—
Oh. Sorry. Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.
Y'know what I was thinking the other day? How cool it would be to see a huge dragon up close!
I'm so pleased that Laura is able to leave the castle freely again. Now, if we were all to go off on an adventure, I think I'd like to go to...
...I mean, he's not wearing anything but underpants! Poor Gladstone—he must be freezing!
Oh. Sorry. Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.
I had a dream the other day that I got tangled up with some pirates. It was great!
Olivia looks great! I'd love to wear a nice dress just like that. But, you know...
...A banquet lasting three days and nights? That's a little much, don't you think?!
Oh. Sorry. Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.
Oh! Did I tell you about my dream last night? We were in a desert, and there was a dark lord there...
I can't believe Magnificus STILL wants to fight Damien. Talk about obstinate!
...Odin really doesn't talk much at all, does he? He's like a big statue most of the time!
Oh. Sorry. Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.
I used to have a stuffed bear when I was young. Sometimes I really miss cuddling with it...
You can now start a main story chapter. If you start it, you will not be able to quit the chapter until you have finished it. You will also not be able to change to any Life for which you do not yet have a license. Your party will automatically be disbanded, and Multiplayer will be unavailable until cleared. Do you want to start the main story chapter? [Choice: Sure / Not now]
As the authority on all matters Bliss related, let me have a look at you!
Hmm... It looks like you haven't done anything particularly Blissful recently.
It looks like you can now go to the Grassy Plains. Want to go and check them out?
There's something I'd like to ask of you...
We haven't solved the Doomstone mystery yet.
We haven't solved the Doomstone mystery yet.
You met my dad? Isn't he quite a character?
You met my dad? Isn't he quite a character?
How's Olivia doing?
How's Olivia doing?
How is the Sultan doing?
How is the Sultan doing?
Did you meet The Great Spirit?
Did you meet The Great Spirit?
I'd like to go to Terra Nimbus too!
I'd like to go to Terra Nimbus too!
That was a happy ending!
That was a happy ending!
Those folks were really into hot springs, huh?
Those folks were really into hot springs, huh?

Origin Island: Chapter Two

[Player]! I'm so glad you're up.
I had an incredibly strange dream...
I'm afraid I can't remember much about it, but...
Grace was in it, and she kept calling me Goddess. I told her I wasn't a goddess, but—
Oh no. What is it now?
Let's go check it out, [Player]!
Peachy?!
WHOA THERE! Relax!
What are you doing here?
Where's Grace?
Oh, man. Where is Noelia when she could actually be helpful...?
Uh...you want us to go back to Origin Island?
Come on, [Player]. I hope Grace is OK! Maybe she was trying to tell me something in that dream!
It feels...different here somehow. Is that just me?
Noelia!
We haven't really heard anything—just a lot of "gigas." What's going on here?
You seem pretty calm.
What is it, Peachy?
I have no idea what it's saying.
Noelia, can you translate?
Maybe...our Furlin here can help?
What are they saying?
So the prophecy came true. That was fast.
What? Well, where is—
OK, I stopped myself before I asked where she is.
Oh, this is bad. I think Grace was trying to communicate with me in my dream!
I'm really worried about Grace, [Player]!
Let's hurry to the tower!
What's going on?
Where's Grace?!
What? Why did you let her do that?!
Aren't you supposed to protect her from...from whatever is going on in there?
Are these guys part of the whole "Ancient Disaster"?
Poltroons? Is that even a real word?
Uh, let's look it up later. You ready, [Player]? [Choice: Of course / ((I'll be a poltroon]
Just as you say!
Mr. Leo, sir! Allow us to assist you!
Oh, well...all right.
Good luck, Mr. Leo...
Wow. That may have been the most impressive thing I've ever seen.
Where did those guys come from?
And where is Dogu? Is he with Grace?
That's really quite the vocabulary you have there.
It's my fault. I'm the one who took Grace off the island. I'm sorry.
Now, just wait a second! If Grace is in trouble, we're not going anywhere until she's safe!
Look, I understand what Grace is going through.
That's why I wanted to help her in the first place!
The burning desire to see a new world, to explore a new land...it's only natural to long for these things!
It doesn't matter that you know there are risks. And the more someone tries to stop you...
Yes! Exactly!
But...if you know that, and you knew how much Grace wanted to leave, why be so hard on her?
And why are all of you just standing around doing nothing if she's in so much danger?!
We're going up there to help Grace. You all can stand around listening to your bones quake.
SILENCE, POLTROON!
I SAID SILENCE, POLTROO—
Oh, whoops! So I am.
One sec.
Stunning coward corps you have here, Leo.
