Colin

Halt! Who goes there? Friend or foe? I don't know what business you have in this desert,
Ah! A fellow Wizard, I see. Greetings, then. You may call me Colin. I have sworn myself in service to the community. It is my sacred duty to control the spirits.
This desert is no place for a tenderfoot like you. Leave the real work to the experienced Wizard!
Calamitus... The very name strikes fear into the hearts of even the bravest Wizards. Calamitus is the root of all evil...and as my final mission, I am to defeat it! It uses the power of the Spirits of Darkness to bring forth misery from the underworld. Therefore, I must first tame the Spirits of Darkness in order to subdue the Calamitus!
We must first focus our efforts on taming the Spirits of Darkness, my friend. Otherwise, we may find ourselves facing a new, even fiercer Calamitus someday!

May I be frank with you? I suspect I do not yet possess sufficient power to fell the Calamitus... However, Wizard lore speaks of a certain island where live the Spirits of Light! Perhaps...perhaps I could use the light to conquer the darkness! Yes! Taming the Spirits of Light should give me the power I need to conquer the beast.
I feel myself sinking deeper and deeper into the darkness... It's times like these when I doubt myself... and my mission. What am I even doing here?
What news of my little brother, Nox? I hope he is not causing too much trouble for Hazel and Headmistress Esmerelda. Such a stubborn child...
Wizards are very much a solitary lot, but still... I must ask a favor of you, my friend. Would you be so kind as to allow me to accompany you on your adventures? To be a wandering Wizard such as yourself... with the freedom to roam where you choose! As you may know, I have yet to defeat the Calamitus. But if I go into battle with you by my side, I may gain the strength I need to complete my mission!
I specialize in Wind Magic. Nox does, as well! Perhaps it runs in the family...

My friend! Thanks to you, I am finally free of the Calamitus. It's strange... I've been bound by duty to that beast for so long, I'm not quite sure what to do now. But one thing I do know is that we surely NEED dark spirits in the world. It's true! Peace can only be achieved by attaining the perfect balance of light and dark. The Wizards of Reveria know this better than anyone! I am in debt to you. If you ever find yourself in need of my service, you just need ask!
You,
You,
There's something different about you. A subtle change, but a change even so. Here! Take this, my suddenly resplendent friend. Go on—I have plenty of others.
I can read your face like a book! You're eyeing a rise in rank, aren't you? Attaining the next echelon of the wizarding world is no mean feat. But I believe in you, my friend!

Felicitations, my Creator-ranked companion! You've certainly left your mark on the wizarding world. The stuff of legends, indeed! Who could have surmised that you would grow into such a powerful Wizard? It's simply astonishing!
If truth be told, I am beyond humbled to have met a Wizard with a power such as your own. What I've learned from you cannot be gleaned from a formal education, my friend. For that, I thank you.
