Crankshaft's Workshop

I'm not here right now! Aye, as ye can see, I'm invisible! What I'm trying ta say is...go away!

Leave me be! Just leave me be! I'm fine all by myself!

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Six

Ahoy! An' who are youze?

Th' heck is that? A wee talkin' butterfly tryin' to say somethin' to old Crankshaft?

Boy, this Barley Juice is messin' with mah ears now! I'm hearin' butterflies!

WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA!

Don't you be jus' all, "Oh, hey, I'ma talkin' butterfly— do you know of a good sandwich shop in the area?"

Oh, I jus' bet y'are. OK, lassie, yer right. Jus' keep flappin' those lips like a talkin' mailbox...flappity flap.

Awwww...whassa matter, li'l flappin' fly? Did old Crankshaft make ya upset there?

Yer darn tootin' izza good day! Every day izza good day where...old... Where I come from...

Sweetie bird honey pie darling peanut...sweetie.

Ah, yes. Jus' lookit you, my honey mustard muffin darling, Aurora...

Enough with youze! I'll be done with all o' this when I'm ready to be *hic* done with *hic* all of...

Oyah?! Wut's so important? Prolly jus' somethin' silly like flyin' veggies or floatin' islands inna sky...

Whaddya whisperin' about over there? Ain't nobody hittin' no joosh! That's joosh aboosh!

Stuff don't taste no good no more anywayz. Not since...not since nunya bisnizz!

All youze talkin' Terra Nimbus dis, Terra Nimbus dat, Terra Nimbus disdat. It don't exist, I tell youze!

Chase after what's not even there an' ya lose what... is actually...there. In front o' ya.

Ain't no Terra Nimbus in front o' me. Or in front o' no one else no neither!

I don't care what a wee li'l flyin' grasshopper thinks. It's makin' me dizzy just lookin' atcha.

'Sides, it don't matter none. Widdout my expertise, ain't no airship flyin' no ways.

And when no airships flyin', ain't no accidents happenin'...ain't no one getting hurt. Y'hear me?!

Is everyone blind 'cept me?! Lookit! Rocks fallin' from the sky is a sign that nobody be flyin' anyhow!

It's how the heavens to be tellin' youze—stay outta the air and stay on the ground.

What?! Aurora's workin' on an airship?

Wuzzit? A rock.

Wait a second... Dassa Floatstone there?

I gave the wee lassie this stone as a gift...

Whaddya know, ye li'l talkin' moth. Yer right.

Those kids and that blasted airship...

I need a drink to clear my head...

Har har... I sure do, you li'l airborne ant.

I was thinkin' I need a fresh cup o' coffee and some cold water on my face if I'm gonna help those kids!

Thanks, butterfly. You're a good bug.

Well, at least you got that part right!

You can't fly an airship if your spirit is deflated!

And there that butterfly was, tellin' me you weren't the type of person to ever complain.

Yeah, I know how it is when you have to think out loud while you're working. Real loud, sometimes.

So...this is the airship you two put together, eh?

Not bad, not bad at all...

Well, I woulda never thought you two could've put together an airship on your own.

But you indeed blew my hat off with this! Y'see I don't have it on anymore!

Ha ha! I see you remember the first thing I taught you about airships! That's good!

This thing sure is pretty. But airships were made for the sky, not for art galleries.

Aurora, bring me my tools, will ya?

Aw now, don't start gettin' all sentimental, boy. We got some work to do.

I can help you out here, Robin. But you know once she's airborne, it's gonna be all you up there.

Hang on there. Sometimes it just takes a little bit of patience. Patience and *ungh* elbow grease...

Nope. In fact, I think we're just about done here... Just *ungh* give me one *nff* more second...

This airship is top of the line now. I'd stake my word on it. You two put together a real beauty here.

I know so. I've seen a lotta airships, and this one may be right up there with the best of 'em.

Yeah, well, you've got these two to thank for that. [Player] and that little busybody butterfly there.

They showed me this Floatstone here...

It's too small to power an airship. But in its own way, I think it did quite a bit to get this thing flying.

Ha ha. Ah, Aurora...you always had faith in me, didn't ya, my dear?

Ha ha! All rows indeed. So who's gonna be in that second row with you, Robin?

You two come back safe now, y'hear?

Well, well, welcome back, kids!

By the looks of ya, I would say what you were lookin' for was pretty much found.

Ahhh...if only Larkin were here to see this.

A whole new generation of adventure and discovery! He woulda loved it.

Boy, you kids sure did honor Larkin's memory with your courage. I know he'd be proud.

*I need some more rest...*

It's really you, Larkin?

IT'S REALLY YOU, LARKIN!

I thought I'd never see ya again! I oughta have you honeyed and feathered for all the worry you caused!

Har har har! I bet you couldn't! Bet you trashed that old airship too, eh?

Bah! Airship, shmairship! We can always build another one, right?

That's right. I'll keep an eye on him, though. I bet he's rustier than a pickaxe in a hot spring.

I wanna say thanks to you all.

Not only did you find Terra Nimbus, but you rescued my best friend. Quite the feat!

Aw, yeah...but you're doing this for the good of all Reveria, though. No thanks needed. I WON'T HAVE IT!

Har har. Just kiddin'. Glad to be of service.

Shouldn't you be on your way, though?

Sure. Go get 'em, boy. You make me proud.

If ya ever need to make another trip to Terra Nimbus, you just leave it to me and Larkin here.

Good luck, Robin.

Best get movin'! Terra Nimbus ain't gonna wait on you forever, y'know!

It's as if you brought Larkin back from oblivion! Thank you so much.

Tale of Lunares: Final Chapter

Don't worry, Aurora. He'll get 'em there.

Flutter 034 Back in Business

Why, hello there, li'l butterfly. How goes the fight?

The man has a good head on his shoulders, though.

It'd be quite unwieldy to get some of these parts up there in the trees with no proper workshop.

It's easier for us to work on things here and then just ship 'em over to Elderwood Village.

Aurora here has always fancied herself a logical type. We've seen a few baffling things here, though...

items we've never seen before and such! It's quite the eye-opening experience here,

Having Larkin back has made things quite a bit livelier around here too.

I really can't tell you how grateful I am to you.

You're almost like my own tiny li'l goddess!

But I feel like we might be sellin' ourselves short a bit down here.

Using a ship from the Life Goddess to save our own world just seems so...

well, it makes it so that we're dependent on something we can't control, you know?

I'd much rather fly us up to Lunares in a ship of our own making so we can really prove our worth!

Someday soon, I'm gonna put together an airship that'll fly all the way to Lunares. Maybe even beyond!

Oh ho ho! Piqued your intriguin', did I? Well, it's nice to know I'm still good for challengin' somethin'!

Oh! Almost forgot, [Player]! Take this, will ya?

Figure it probably gets pretty nippy up there on Lunares this time of year.

Keep yourself warm. Don't catch any space sniffles or nothin' like that.

Crankshaft

I'm not even here...

Nothin' good'll come outta you pesterin' me like dis!

Larkin has already started runnin' a direct flight service to Terra Nimbus! Take advantage of that!

Robin and Aurora have grown up so much that I barely recognize 'em anymore!

Next time ya fly, maybe I should take you up in one of my own creations!

I always dreamed of makin' it up there to Terra Nimbus. I'm glad y'all got to see it.

Well, if it isn't the wee li'l adventurer. Where's yer next trip gonna be to?

Well, if it isn't Reveria's number-one adventurer! You should take my airship out for a spin sometime!

Aurora tells me you did somethin' special over on Origin Island. Says she's mighty proud of ya.

Aurora tells me there's even some hot springs o'er on that Origin Island of yers. That true?
