The Fledgling Hunter At One with Nature

Mmmfff... Frmbl... Mrrffbl...

Hrrmblf—h-h-ungry.

Out...outta energy.

Mmmfff... Plllrmbl...

Pl-please...need...

Nom. Nommity-nom. Nom...

Well, THAT hit the spot.

Many thanks, friends.

I was stalking my prey when—

Uh, no. Listen for a second. No, I collapsed because I forgot rule number one for Hunters.

I ran out of energy tracking my prey for three days straight. Never rested. Forgot to eat.

Sometimes we Hunters get so caught up in the hunt...food's the last thing on our mind.

I know. Foolish. But surely you two have been so consumed by the hunt you've done the same?

Oh? Then welcome, friend. The Hunter's Life is a tough one. So since you're new...

get ready to learn some new tricks. Consider it thanks for the honey.

Now how about you put your new skills to the test, friend? There's a Hootwink nearby.

Relax—it's just an owl. Good to be cautious, though. They're vicious critters and will attack on sight.

I've survived a number of attacks from those owls. We Hunters keep their feathers as trophies.

Castele Forest, I think. Yes, yes. I'm sure of it.

I ran right by it when I was chasing after my prey.

So head there. Sneak up to it, if you can. Then attack—before IT attacks.

How about I remind you how to use those new Hunter skills I taught you?

That's crucial stuff for beginners.

About that Hootwink. I suppose it's a good idea to report back to Master Fern first.

When you're ready, you'll find it in Castele Forest. Hunt well—or you may lose that owl.

N-need h-honey...

You tracked down that Hootwink? Nicely done, Hunter. Shows great promise.

*sigh* I just can't get to sleep. Usually, buzzing like a bee sends me right off, but not today it seems.

Looks like you've improved your skills. Take this—it'll make your room look like a true Hunter's camp.

I've been hunting winks all day. Let me see if I can track down a few more...

I love naps. You should try grabbing one!

I trust Fern is working hard as guard of the royal gardens? It's a good gig, you know!

Maybe I should've kept my guard post at the royal gardens? I did kind of dump it all on Fern...

Congrats on becoming a Master Hunter! I see you got the Arrow Storm technique down. It's a very powerful attack, but you can only use it if you've fired a good few arrows first. You would do well to make use of it against stronger foes rather than run-of-the-mill monsters.

You have come a long way, haven't you,

You have come a long way, haven't you,

Ah, so you're a Hero now, are you? To be honest, I wasn't sure if you'd make it this far,

It is said that the first guard of the royal gardens taught the king how to hunt.

Congrats! I've heard about your impressive exploits. I'm sure Fern is proud to have you as a pupil.

I'm sure Fern enjoyed training you more than she thought she would.

I heard you're aiming for the lofty heights of the Creator rank. Good luck. Achievement is good.

The Creator rank is... Well, just remember that the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.

Congrats! I hear you attained Creator rank! I'd like to give you this as a reward for your achievements!

My greatest wish is for all of your wishes, and Fern's, to be fulfilled. My wishes would be nice too...
