Forest Shrine

I do hope someone will be interested in this lovely little holiday home. Oh, I don't mean you, dear! You need to get to know the place a bit better first. Maybe we can talk about it another time. Besides, I've got plenty of tidying up to do around here before anyone can move in!

So how do you like the place? It doesn't have any leaks or anything, does it? If there's anything not quite right with the place, just give me a call, dear. I can't fix it myself, but I'm sure I can find a nice, young workman or worklady to help.

So I imagine you're going to be spending more time around here from now on, aren't you, dear? In that case, how about buying your own home here? This lovely little place is for sale. What do you think? [Choice: I'll take it! / No, thanks]

You're interested? How fabulous! And I can make you a great deal too. Seeing as it's you, how does [Player] Dosh sound? [Choice: I'll take it! / I'll pass]

I appreciate your enthusiasm, dear, but it doesn't look like you have the necessary Dosh... Don't worry. I'll hold the place for you, so you can just come right back when you're ready to buy.

Oh, wonderful! I'm so glad I could sell my favorite property to my new favorite customer. Hurrah!

Congratulations! The place is all yours now, dear! I hope you feel right at home here.

No problem, sweetie. The place is reserved for you. Just come see me if you change your mind.

Oh...I was about to ask if you wanted to buy a lovely holiday home, but you're playing Multiplayer! Go spend time with your friends! I'll be here later if you want to talk real estate, dear.

Origin Island: Chapter One

I'm Louisa. The proprietress of this hot spring.

You two are the visitors from the outside world, eh?

Tee hee hee! Yes, well, we don't get visitors from another world every day, you know.

Anyone can see what honest people you are by those friendly, open faces.

I think I can see your face, little butterfly.

Um, no, no...nothing's wrong.

Who's that, dear?

Don't you worry about Grace and Ol' Poppa Hot Rondo, or whatever he's asking you to call him.

You get into this every other night, don't you? And I'm sure you didn't mean what you said, right?

So you're both just never going to speak again, is that it?

Would you two do me a favor and go track down Grace? I'm sure she's fine, but still...

She's probably in the grotto by the beach.

If you go back to the Central Grassland on the island and take the beach southwest of there, you'll see it.

It's right by the shore, where the Furlin live. She loves hanging out there.

She's very close with one of the Furlin there.

Oh, hold on just one moment!

You're still new to the island. I would hate for you to get lost doing something I asked you to do.

I bet this little fella would love to be your guide. Right, Dogu?

Oh, and take this with you.

Indeed it is! It's our local delicacy. We're known all throughout, well...here because of it.

And it's Grace's favorite, isn't that right?

Isn't that right, Uncle Johann Aquarium Suits?

Psh. Should call himself Grandfather Crybaby.

Well, see if you can go cheer up Grace.

Could you go find Grace? I think she's probably in the grotto down by the beach.

Origin Island: Chapter Two

She is the Goddess Celestia's daughter.

Well, I mean, I've never met the Goddess, but I've seen her in portraits. You're the spitting image.

When I heard your name, Yuelia, I was a bit shocked.

That name has appeared in the old legends for generations here on Origin Island.

Many, many years ago...when the Goddess governed our island here...

she was waited upon by a certain Shrine Maiden. One of my ancestors, actually.

See, I am a descendant of that Shrine Maiden. And that role I have passed to Grace...

Leo! You shush! Yuelia is right.

When did you turn into such an obstinate leader?

What's more important? Grace or some old law?

No, what's absurd is you assuming you will be able to rescue Grace without the help offered to you.

We all know the Goddess Celestia had a hand in the creation of the Ancient Disaster.

Yuelia, dear, surely you see it is too dangerous to enter the tower alone?

You surely have more sense than Leo.

The tower is sure to be full of peril. Be very careful.

You could've at least thrown a robe on.

I don't mean to pile on here, but that was quite the insensitive act...

Grace wailing while Leo looks on uncomfortably... If only I had a Goldweed for every time I saw that.

Are you getting this, my dear, stubborn old prune?

Oh my... Can one world contain such beauty?

I'd like to have a little chat next time you're here... Come and see me when you have the time!
