Tale of Lunares: Chapter Four

...?
Fascinating...
'Twas no mistake, Butterfly.
'Twas I, Butterfly.
Uh...thank you. Just Odin.
Odin, please. You should know that Lord Damien could have easily erased both of your memories.
It appears he enjoyed your company, though. And chose not to manipulate you so.
Despite what Lady Demona may have said, Lord Damien wanted to protect the two of you.
Mind-erasing magic is not a perfect science. Often the mind can encounter unintended consequences.
Truthfully, 'tis the first time I have ever seen the young lord rebel against his mother.
Regardless, he is committed to his duty to undertake the trial. Lord Damien is bound by filial piety.
The young master feels duty bound to respect the wishes of his mother.
Lord Damien is preparing for the worst. Milord just... *ahem* relieved me of my duties, actually.
He knows he will be gone for a long time at best and perhaps for a very long time at worst.
Lord Damien shoved a knapsack in my hands, saying, "Drop the helmet, travel the world, and be free!"
He ordered me to leave before Lady Demona began issuing me orders.
Indeed. Lord Damien's kindness knows no bounds. However, I find myself rather conflicted.
...You make it sound so simple, Butterfly.
If I felt pleasure, I would say this was an experience where that feeling occurred.
You may rest at the Al Maajik Inn. Please take advantage of that. I bid you farewell.
Good luck, young one...
You are well met as well, Butterfly.
Yes, my...freedom...
For what is freedom if it's not exercised?!
What do I...want to do...?
...
The only nonsense I hear is that familiar tone you are taking with me, Maajiknight.
I know not of what I want, Butterfly.
I do not believe in the capacity for dwelling on such frivolous things as...what I want.
But I do know there is one thing in this world that is irreplaceable to me.
I did not know how to tell this to Lord Damien when he excused me from his service.
The thing in this world that is the most sacred, invaluable thing that cannot be replaced...
is Lord Damien himself. If I could do one thing, it would be to go serve him in the trial.
What would be the worst that could happen? I would be dismissed from my post a second time?
What are you two doing here?
This is no place for foreign interlopers. You are putting both yourself and Damien's trial in danger.
You must leave immediately!
You speak much of this "friends" thing. Well, it's just as well. I don't think you can leave now anyway. Our only option is to complete the trial successfully lest we spend another three years trapped here.
It's the Lord of the Dead. That is the Dark Sultan's most powerful servant.
But it now lives in some sort of shadow. What has happened here?!
LEAVE THE BOY ALONE!
Let us put those fangs of yours to the test. You may find you have bitten off more than you can chew!
Lord Damien! We have come to serve you.
We all ventured here of our own volition, milord.
Because we are your...furrends, milord. I think I said that correctly.
Quickly, milady! We shall deal with this beast!
What business does she have here? She has run off with the Doomstone!
Do not worry, milord. I shall help you.
...
"I, Damien Helbourne, hereby claim my rightful seat as Dark Sultan."
"I vow to exact vengeance upon Castele, in the name of my father, the former Dark Sultan!"
"Heed my words, Dark Sultan, and transfer thy dark spirit upon this stone visage!"
I think I saw something too.
My former lordship!
Shush, Butterfly!
It will take time for such epic wounds to heal, milord. 'Tis not as simple as repairing a broken statue.
Lord Damien, perhaps we should go.
HA! HA!
[Player], Butterfly, before we part ways, I would like to express my...gratitude to you.
I owe you a great debt. You made me examine my... true desires, and I thank you for that.
I...I don't think it works like that, Your Grace. Delivering a request to Al Maajik will not be easy.
I...I don't think it works like that, Your Grace. Delivering a request to Al Maajik will not be easy.
I...I don't think it works like that, Your Grace. Delivering a request to Al Maajik will not be easy.
... You have my thanks, [Player].

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Six

...
...
Nothing.
It is nice to see you as well.
...Fine.
...
...What?
The Dark Sultan is quite pleased. Nice job.
...Is there...something else you need?

Tale of Lunares: Final Chapter

Madam. His Darkness is not serious.
HA.

Flutter 023 Honor and Friendship

Yes. Hello.
I exist to serve, Butterfly.
I have no desires of my own.
I must be able to protect Lord Damien, the Dark Sultan, from anything that poses a threat.
That is my one and only duty.
Shiny.
It is part of my duty to protect the Dark Sultan.
I am both Lord Damien's sword and shield, even if he need strike against friend or family.
I must bring my blade down upon anyone who threatens the Dark Sultan.
Therefore, I must listen to every word, every nuance of tone, and search for intent behind speech.
By speaking, one prohibits one's ability to listen.
Nobody here is judging you.
Are you in the service of protecting something that is important to you as well? [Choice: ... / ...]
...When he was a statue...heh.
Har har har har har! I get it!
You two are a funny pair. I understand why the Dark Sultan enjoys your company.
I do believe that to be true.
The Dark Sultan has expressed a...fondness for the two of you that I have never before seen from him.
As long as this is true, you will also fall under my protection as an extension of the Dark Sultan.
I have a lot of time to formulate how I might speak.
I have considered how to express that I would like to extend my honor, protection, and...friendship to you.
I am quite confident in my abilities to...kick some butt. If you ever require such a service.
Please do not hesitate to call on me. I would very much enjoy sharing your company.

Flutter 044 The Sultan's Tower

Welcome.
...Welcome.

Odin

Lord Damien is busy planning world domination.
Cerberus still cannot shake hands. Disgraceful.
The Elder Dark Sultan has agreed to make the Garden of Shadows his temporary home.
This throne is too large for Lord Damien. That is all.
I, too, plan on accompanying Lord Damien at the Reveria Summit for milord's security.
My loyalty to Lord Damien is only matched by Cerberus's loyalty to milord. But I'm housebroken.
According to Sir Mustang, the Castele royal family enjoys going out on family outings together. Why?
I am shocked by the king of Castele's size. Can't you tell?
There was a time when I could not speak even during the most crucial of moments. I'm opening up now.
Opposites give one another meaning. One depends on the other. Without light, there is no darkness.
Ah, you came. That is all.
Ah, you came. That is all.
Your curiosity and penchant for discovery rival Lord Damien's.
Lord Damien has been searching for something to replace the statue that was our Elder Sultan. I think a gazebo would work nicely, but nobody asks me for my ideas on decor.
I accompanied Lord Damien on a convoy to Origin Island. 'Twas truly a sight to behold.
Cerberus enjoyed his time on Origin Island as much as Lord Damien did. They both enjoy running.
