PercivalI don't mean to brag, but I know a thing or two about monsters. You know, like which monsters only come out at night...which ones have fangs...stuff like that. Well...no...I haven't actually DEFEATED any of them in battle. I need another year or so to study!

PercivalHave you spent much time out roaming the Grassy Plains yet? The place is filthy with Bandits! I mean, who do those Bandits think they are? Roaming the countryside, terrorizing poor citizens... It's your duty to apprehend the Bandit Leaders, no questions asked! What do you mean, it's my duty too? I'm stationed here. I can't leave until the scary Bandits are gone! I mean...I can't leave until Mustang says so.

PercivalIf you think you're ready to take on some of those dastardly Bandit Leaders, maybe I can help... No, no, no! I didn't mean I could help you actually subdue them! Yeesh! I meant that I could help you FIND them. They're usually in the East Grassy Plains.

PercivalHey, now that you're an Apprentice and all, maybe you could help me out with something. Mustang asked me to take out a Fanged Ape that's been terrorizing the Mount Snowpeak area. But I can't. Because...reasons. So be a pal and take care of it for me, won't you? Unless...you're scared. Or you've already taken care of it!

PercivalYou've already met Isobel and Porthos, right? Second and third in command behind Mustang? Well, did anyone tell you their nicknames yet? Isobel calls herself "Swift Justice." And Porthos calls himself "The Great Wall." Course, I've got my own nicknames for the both of them. Isobel is "The Horse Whisperer," and Porthos is the "Buffet Whisperer." Er...I probably shouldn't tell you my nickname for Captain Mustang...

PercivalWhat? You're an Adept already? Man. First Roslyn, and now you. You both outrank me! Well, if you're so tough, why don't you try some Angry Zombies on for size? They've been haunting Tortuga Archipelago at night. Go get 'em, if you haven't already! I'm pretty sure I could handle 'em. I just don't feel like it right now.

PercivalDid you handle those Angry Zombies yet? Remember? On Tortuga Archipelago? UGH. I'd totally go handle them for you, but Isobel has given me some high-level responsibilities here. What? They don't let just ANYONE sweep out the stables!

PercivalTechnically, the Outlaw Leaders I told you about fall under the Maajiknights' jurisdiction. But...as Paladins, we are bound to offer our services anywhere they are needed in Reveria. Plus, I mean...there's some serious Dosh in it. Please don't tell Mustang I said that...

PercivalI hear congratulations are in order...Master Paladin! And to think I knew you as a Novice. How is it possible that you've advanced so far while I'm still stuck here? Oh, right. I'm totally lazy, and I pawn all my assignments off on other people. Makes sense. Well, here's another one if you're interested. Heard of a thing called a Golden Dragon? I'd expect quite a Bounty for something like that.

PercivalMan...defeating the Golden Dragon would make me rich beyond my wildest dreams. But who am I kidding? That thing would eat me alive.

PercivalYou...you made it all the way to Hero? Oh boy, now I feel bad for putting on that obsequious act... I should have been treating you with real, HONEST respect this whole time. Because you deserve it. And you know what? If you haven't already, I'm sure you could master more than one Life. Why not try your hand at being a Blacksmith? Think of it...you could craft your own epic blades!

PercivalThe more I think about it...the more it makes sense to take on blacksmithing as a complementary Life... Just think of all the weapons and armor you could craft. And the Dosh!

PercivalWell, you've done it. You're a living Legend. You're not planning on taking over Reveria or anything...are you? Because...you probably shouldn't. But if you DID, I just want you to know you'd have my full support. I could be a great minion. Think about it.

PercivalJust so you know, if you don't accept me as your minion, Isobel has expressed interest.

PercivalHave things been a little weird around here lately, or is it just me? You didn't leak your plans for total Reveria domination, did you? What do you mean, you're not planning total Reveria domination? I can see it in your eyes. You want the power. Am I wrong?

PercivalI've come to terms with the fact you aren't going to take over Reveria, [Player]. And I have to admit I have a strange feeling... It's, like, the opposite of contempt. Is it respect? Is that what I'm feeling? These are confusing times for me.
