Your Life as a Hunter has just begun. Find the Hunter Master, Fern, in East Castele. Hopefully she'll take you as her pupil!
Fern needs some proof of your skill before she takes you on as a student and wants you to learn bow basics from her pupil, Pete. Find him in the Sheep Pen in South Castele.
Pete taught you archery basics and now wants you to equip your bow for some practice. To equip it, select Gear and choose your bow.
Practice your new archery skills by shooting the target in the Sheep Pen. Pete said he thinks you'll have a hard time, but still, give it your best shot!
You shot the Practice Target to pieces. Now Granny Cotton wants you and Pete to find out more about the stranger in her Sheep Pen. Talk to him!
It seems the stranger in the Sheep Pen has collapsed from hunger and wants honey. Ask Pete where you can get some.
Pete says that foraging is part of a Hunter's job too. The stranger wants some honey, so go with Pete to find some on the road to the East Grassy Plains.
You found some honeycomb on a tree in South Castele—but stirred up some Worker Bees too! Defeat them if you want to get at their honey!
You got some honey—now return to the exhausted stranger who wanted it. Who could he be? Head to the Sheep Pen to find out.
The stranger has given you the challenge of hunting a Hootwink. Though he seems nice, given that he taught you new techniques, you'd better consult Fern first.
Fern said the stranger is Fletcher, a former guard at the royal gardens. She said it was all right to hunt the owl, and she'll even take you on as her student if you succeed!
Pete said he's searched the woods of East Castele and found no Hootwinks. He's run off to hunt elsewhere, but it might be worthwhile to search the woods for yourself.
You found the Hootwink! It's a fearsome foe! Use the techniques Fletcher and Granny taught you to take it down. Lucky will be glad to help in your hunt!
You beat the Hootwink and took a feather as proof. Now report back to Fern. She'll surely take you as her student now—and then you'll be a true Hunter at last!
