Report Back to Duglas
This is your first step on the rocky road to
becoming a Miner. Duglas is the mining Master.
He should be at the old mine in East Castele.
Head on over and see him!
First things first: you'll need a pickaxe. Head to
Duglas's neighborhood in the Artisan District,
and ask his wife, Ruby, for the pickaxe. Put
your nose to the grindstone, and get it done!
You got the pickaxe from Ruby! Report back to
Duglas right away. But...it seemed like Ruby
was pretty angry at him. What really happened?
Use your newly acquired pickaxe to mine!
Mining a few pieces of Castele Copper should
be a piece of cake. Didn't Duglas say
something about nearby Copper Deposits?
You mined three pieces of Castele Copper!
Report back to Duglas. What could your next
challenge be? Hopefully he'll stop counting
long enough to tell you...
Go out and sell your ore to the merchant in the
Artisan District in Castele. This is your first
big mining score! Don't spend all that Dosh in
one place!
Ore isn't the only thing you can dig up!
Angela's looking for a rare Topaz. Try
asking Duglas if he knows anything about
that. Who knows? He might surprise you.
Ask Molan about the Topaz. The mole network,
Hole Net, can find just about any gem!
Molan should be nearby. Prepare to tap into
the infinite power of the Hole Net!
Molan says you should be able to mine a
Topaz near the chapel. You should head
there right away! You'll find the chapel in
West Castele.
You found a rare ore deposit! You should be
able to mine it with what Rocque just taught
you. It might seem like a daunting task, but
you can do it! Get that Topaz!
You did it! You got a large Topaz! Better head
back to Angela. Didn't she say she'd be waiting
for you over at the Crown?
Looks like you traded the Topaz for Angela's
Amethyst. Check in with Duglas! This is bound
to impress him and get you that much closer to
being a fully fledged Miner!
