Fyra*sigh* Today must be Failsday, because I keep failing all of my items! Don'tcha just hate days like that?

FyraWahoo! You did it! Congrats on getting your license! From here on out you can count on me to give you the best smithing support in Castele! Well, best in this forge, anyway. Heh... My pops is the kinda person who assumes I do nothing but goof off. He doesn't take me seriously. Hm? Pops? The guy over there by the forge? *ahem* Correction: he's the LOUD guy by the forge. Seriously, you didn't know he was my pops? But I always call him "Pops"...

FyraA little busy here! We'll talk later!

FyraLet's start off with some of the basics, shall we? You can't forge anything without ingots, and you can't make ingots without ore. Ingots are a Blacksmith's best friend, so it pays to have lots of them on hand!

FyraYou can buy ore over at the materials shop. If you run out, restock, restock, and restock!

FyraAll right! You're an Apprentice! I'd say that calls for a little gift, wouldn't you? As an Apprentice, it means you can start using some Plains Iron. If you get real good at making ingots, pretty soon you'll be able to forge a nifty little hammer! Then you can use that new hammer to make even niftier items and equipment! It's the circle of smithing!

FyraIf you feel like your hammer just isn't quite hitting the mark, take a break with another Life. Even I need a change once in a while! Variety is the spice of Life! That ore I gave you earlier? Guess who mined it? This girl right here!

FyraI hear you became an Adept Blacksmith! You're probably going to pass me real soon... ...Uhh, n-no, it's nothing! I'm not jealous! Anyway, you must've taken on quite the variety of smithing jobs by now, huh? How about you kick it up a notch and try forging with some higher-level materials?

FyraHave you had a chance to visit Port Puerto or Al Maajik? You should check them out! Each town has different materials for sale!

FyraI'm sure you must've heard all about adding extra ingredients to items when crafting. Such a handy little trick to know! Blacksmiths can add all kinds of effects to items. The possibilities are endless! For example, if you infuse Fire Mana into a Bronze Sword... you'll end up with one fired-up weapon! Literally! The sword will end up with fire properties! Pretty nifty little technique, huh?

FyraYou can change the very nature of an item by adding an extra ingredient to the craft. I mean, you're an Expert Blacksmith now, so you can try it out for yourself!

FyraCongratulations on making it to Master rank! I know it's not much, but I want you to have this. If you use it the next time you forge, you'll have an easier time making a quality item. This is just my way of showing you how psyched I am for you! Why not use it to make yourself a special hammer to celebrate all your hard work?

FyraThere are all sorts of extra ingredients out there in the world. You might even need to switch over to another Life just to get your hands on some of them! Yup. Life sure can be tough...but them's the breaks!

Hey, you know what? This is the first time we've chatted since you reached Hero rank. Cool, huh? What's not cool is the fact that I won't get to lend you a hand with blacksmithing anymore. All the crafts from here on out are WAY too advanced for me. Just perfect for you, though! Here. It's kinda sorta a good-bye present. I gotcha that, so make sure you put it to good use!

FyraI don't know if you knew this about me, but...I'm actually STILL an Adept Blacksmith. It's true! I probably should've told you that sooner. Really, REALLY sorry about not telling you. But, you know, it's been a blast helping you out, even though I've been a lower rank than you. I'm not giving up, though! It's time I get serious about my training and become a Master too!

FyraCongratulaciónes! Heh... I figured you must've gotten all kinds of various congratulations, so I thought I'd be a little different. Since you became Legend rank, I bet there's going to be all sorts of annoying stuff you'll need to do... I know a thing or two about annoyances when it comes to smithing, believe me! You just sort of have to power through them and get on with your work. Keep this between the two of us, but Pops can be totally annoying when I'm trying to work... I mean, the man just doesn't have an inside voice. Sometimes he shouts about smithing in his sleep! I love 'im. I mean, he's my pops... Urgh, I'm getting a headache just thinking about it.

FyraI can't stop now! I've gotta hurry up and reach Master rank so Pops will finally take me seriously!

FyraWhoa, what gives? You look really psyched about something. Oh! Did you get a new hammer? Huh? Creator rank? I've never heard of that. I-it's a rank higher than Legend?! That is so CRAZY COOL! H-here! A gift for a job well done! Although...it might not be good enough for you now.

FyraI never thought there could ever be a rank that was higher than Legend. Who came up with that rank, anyway? I mean, ranks don't just pop up overnight, do they?

FyraSo what new responsibilities do you have now that you've graduated up to Creator rank? Oh! Wait, wait... Is there, like, a secret handshake or something, too? You know what I mean, right? A secret handshake known only to Creator-ranked Blacksmiths! ...Huh? There isn't? That's a bummer. Oh, I bet you could easily start the trend yourself! You could call it the Smithy Shake!

FyraI've really gotta crank it into high gear! Can't rest until I'm a better Blacksmith than Pops!
