As she said that, Duglas apparently reached down and plucked a flower from the ground. But it wasn't a flower. It was a Weedling! Well, you can imagine what happened next. Ruby took one look at the Weedling and screamed! Her face turned pale! She was yelling and trying to swat it away, and she hit poor Duglas in the face! It was quite the debacle. I'm surprised they actually got married. Clearly my sister is willing to put up with a lot...

ManuelSo, yes, Duglas used an itty-bitty Weedling as an engagement ring for my sister. When he finally put that *ahem* ring on her finger... what exactly do you think she did? Indeed. She flipped out. I can't even describe how mad she was. And the lecture she gave him was absolutely epic. We still discuss it at family gatherings. It was a debacle, indeed. With a capital D.

ManuelOh, you're back, are you? Since you're here, let me tell you about something I just HATE. Miners with terrible Luck. URGH! *ahem* Sorry... You know what kinds of gems they mine up? Junk! Junk like Minty Ore! What possible use could anyone have for Minty Ore?! C-come again?! It's used for what now? T-toothpaste?! Who in their right mind does THAT?! That sounds like something only Duglas could cook up! Anyway, here's a little something from me to make sure you don't end up down on your Luck. Last thing I need is you bringing me barrels full of Minty Ore. Ugh. How dreadful!
