MonikaOh, hello there! I'm Monika. Nice to meet you. Have you met Forrest yet? He's the big guy with the axe...usually belting out a tune while he works. Not exactly hard to find.

MonikaIn case you're wondering, I am technically a Woodcutter. It's just...I'm not strong enough to actually swing an axe and cut down a tree. But I'm working on that.

MonikaI'm so excited to have a new Woodcutter friend! This is gonna be great! And I really can't believe you were able to track down those Elder Logs like that. I'm inspired! Anyway, I brought you a little lunch today. It's just one way I can help out...since I can't cut trees yet.

MonikaMy dad's had a hard time dealing with the mistakes he made in the past...but things are looking up. I think having a prodigy like you as a pupil will be terrific for him.

MonikaI still can't get over the fact that you were able to find Elder Logs on your first time out. Forrest can't either. He's been mumbling about it all week long. You know you've done something amazing when it causes that man to stop singing for five minutes.

MonikaI've been reading through my dad's old notes, trying to learn more about Elder Logs. He wrote, "Heavy. Sturdy. Smell of rich peat and moss. The finest timber I've ever seen." Ooh...it makes me wish I could harvest an Elder Tree for myself. Can't you just smell it?

MonikaCongratulations on making Apprentice! I'm really happy for you. Anyway, I was just talking to my dad, and he said there's someone in Port Puerto you should meet. Apparently he's quite the young Woodcutter. His name is Orlando. I think my dad's trying to instigate some kind of rivalry between you two!

MonikaSo I was talking to Forrest, and he said he's met this Orlando character from Port Puerto. Forrest said he's quiet, but his axe speaks volumes. Or at least that's what I gathered from the song.

MonikaYou already made Adept? Well, that's it—you're officially more experienced than I am! So...any chance I could tag along sometime when you go off on an adventure? I could really use the experience. And I'll help out in any way I can.

MonikaOf course, I'm not much of a fighter...or a Woodcutter...but I'll do my best!

MonikaIf you think you're ready for a challenge, I have some information for you. Have you ever heard of the Sacred Water Tree? It grows somewhere on the Tortuga Archipelago. Legend has it that water from all over Reveria flows through the archipelago and is purified by the tree. Only a Woodcutter who earns the tree's permission will be able to harvest its logs. It would be AMAZING if you were able to track it down and bring back some Elder Logs.

MonikaHave you found the Sacred Water Tree on the Tortuga Archipelago yet? I can't wait to see what those logs look like!

MonikaIt seems like yesterday you were just a Novice learning how to hold an axe. And now look at you! A full-fledged Master! Here. I have a little gift to celebrate.

MonikaHey, I know you're doing pretty well for yourself as a Woodcutter...but have you tried another Life yet? It won't hurt your woodcutting skills to become, say, a Cook or a Hunter for a while. Ooh, or a Carpenter! Your skills would probably match up nicely with that Life. Anyway, give it a shot is all I'm saying. If anything, it might make you an even BETTER Woodcutter.

Monika♪ I swing my mighty axe an' grin... Now power up that charge...and spin! OH! You caught me singing one of Forrest's songs. How embarrassing. At least it's about woodcutting. And not, like, about eating Mutton. Although...that song IS pretty catchy.

MonikaIf there were a Singer Life in Reveria, do you think Forrest would choose it over woodcutting? You're right—he wouldn't have to choose. He'd just do both! Wait. He already does that.

MonikaHey, I've been wanting to get something off my chest. Got a minute? First of all...I'm so happy for your success. It's been really inspiring to watch you. But I have to admit there have been times when I was jealous. I mean...it took me forever just to learn how to swing an axe. And you got it right away! But I can honestly say I've gotten past all that, and I wish you nothing but the best.

MonikaCongratulations! What do you mean on what? My dad made you the new Forest Protector, right? I know it's only an honorary title at this point, but the position has a rich history. And if anyone deserves it, it's you.

MonikaHey, [Player]! That's funny—I was just thinking of you. Actually, I was thinking about how I haven't seen you for a while. I know you made Demi-Creator recently...right? And that obviously takes a ton of work. So you've been busy. I get it. But do stop by from time to time, OK? We all miss you!

MonikaOh, I almost forgot. I heard from the Leafes that you're going for Creator rank. I hadn't even heard of that before! But knowing you, you'll get there in no time. They'll probably have to invent a new level BEYOND Creator just for you!
