Rocky Hill Shrine

Hello, [Player]! Have you come to see the Goddess Statue? While you're here, any interest in trading Lunares Coins? I'm offering one Gold Lunares Coin for five silver ones. Deal? (Silver Lunares Coins held: [Name 1]) [Choice: Trade / Don't trade]
All right, hand 'em over one by one so I can keep an accurate count going.
Here we go! One...two... [Choice: $$I gave you three! / ...]
What? Oh, now I've lost count. Anyway, just keep handing 'em over. Four...five...that's all of 'em. Nice doing business with you.
OK, just hand 'em on over. And don't try and cheat the count, now!
You gotta get up pretty early in the morning to pull one over on old Fred, lemme tell you...
You know what? I'm gonna give you a special deal. You can have one gold for only FOUR silvers!
Three...four...five! There we go.
I suppose five for one is a bit much, if I'm being honest...
You know what? I'm gonna cut you an extra special deal. You can have it for four coins!
Here you go. One Gold Lunares Coin!
In exchange for such a great deal, would you do me a favor and not mention to Pam that I'm here? I'd just like to enjoy the peace and quiet here a little bit longer. Anyway, if you ever want to exchange more Lunares Coins, I'll be here!
What's this? You haven't got enough Silver Lunares Coins! I can't just give these gold ones away, y'know! I'm sure Pam would give you some if you went and helped her out with some errands. Ah, but remember, don't tell her I'm here! Don't worry—I'll tell her when I'm ready.
Well, if you ever do feel like exchanging any Lunares Coins, just come and see me.
Sorry. I can't do any exchanges while you're playing Multiplayer. Come back later if you want to exchange Lunares Coins.

Great. Here you go...one genuine Gold Lunares Coin!
Whoa! It looks like you've got plenty of Gold Lunares Coins already! You don't need any more for now if you've got that many. Go and use some of them at a Goddess Statue! Then come back and see me for more.

Flutter 049 The Castele Goddess Statue

Call me Uncle Fred if it makes ya feel better.
Of course! You don't even know how to use that. I should've known. Tell me where you got it.
YOU GOT PAID WITH THAT?!
So many lying around. I should've just... I should've just known it...
Why doesn't that surprise me?! I spend the bulk of my Life looking for them cuz they're just sitting in—
Oh, so all I have to do to fulfill my Life's ambition is turn into some lady's errand boy, is that it?!
It's only true if you want something good, if that's what you're asking.
Indeed! If you're lucky, one little coin could bring you untold fortunes!
Well, parents can't tell you about everything in the world. You have to find some things out yourself.
At some point, you have to grow up, you know! You can't be a child forever!
Like right now, there you are, just standing around wondering what to do. Offer a coin to the statue!
Take this one too. Someone with no experience with the Goddess like you is gonna need some help.
It means it's better. Now quit stalling, and say a prayer to the statue!
Those coins are very valuable and quite hard to get ahold of, you know. You must be at the pinnacle of your Life to even get your hand on one.
Once you have attained the rank of Creator, you might want to talk to your Master.
Anyway, there are Goddess Statues elsewhere too. You can receive different things from each of them.
Hurry up, though. By the time you get around to doing it, they won't even be statues anymore!

Flutter 051 The Al Maajik Goddess Statue

Hey there, kitty!
Aww, are you hungry? Here you go, little fella.
Oh, you're so cute, little kitty! Here—have another. Feast today like it will be famine tomorrow, I say!

Flutter 052 The Elderwood Goddess Statue

*yawn* Ah, that was the best! I haven't been in a bed that comfy since before sleep was invented!
Ah, yes, payment. This should cover it, I think! There you are. Toodle-oo!

Flutter 053 The Origin Island Goddess Statue

Oho! [Player] and Yuelia! You finally caught up with me, then, did you?!
Well, I figured you were busy tracking me down rather than praying at the Goddess Statues. True?
Oh, good for the little kittykins.
Ha ha! For just paying homage to a statue? Is that what you were gonna say?
Look, Lunares Coins were originally used like letters, sending people's wishes to the Goddess.
Yes, really! Why would I say it if not really?!
People put their wishes into the coins, and the Goddess grants the wishes she receives.
Each statue is home to a particular piece of the power of the Goddess.
That way, more people could receive blessings, even if the Goddess wasn't actually present!
She's right, of course. Yes, there was a time when correspondence was currency, if you can believe it.
I imagine you've heard about the origin of the different kinds of Life a person can adopt, yah?
Well, instead of granting everyone's wishes herself...
the Goddess gave humans the gift of Life, so that people may fulfill each other's wishes.
Consequently, instead of offering Lunares Coins to the Goddess...
people focused on developing something they could exchange among themselves.
With no purpose remaining to them, it is said the Lunares Coins transformed into Dosh.
Only a few folks like me still even search for them, you know. Most people think they're a myth.
I was saving up the ones I found in case I ever ran into trouble. But I don't need them now...
Sadly, they are so old that I doubt I'd get anything good for them now. I shoulda sold 'em years ago.
Well, think of a treasure chest. You don't know what you're going to get until you open the chest, right?
In the same way, you never knew exactly what you were going to get when you used a Lunares Coin.
Ah yes, but people's wishes are somewhat more selfish and complicated than just "Kitty want food."
But anyway, there's no real need for these in a world of plenty. They're more a novelty than anything else.
I better! I've been tracking them down all my Life!
But I can't hold a candle to the exploits of you two! You saved the world, discovered an ancient island...
You even opened that old door I couldn't ever get to budge!
IS THAT WHERE IT LED TO?! OH, I WAS SO CLOSE!
How are my busybody granddaughters doing?
Ha ha, that I am.
Well, you can think whatever you want! I'm gonna think I'm still alive and kicking!
I hope those granddaughters are doing OK. A good bunch they are. Nosy, but...good girls.
Um, well...not yet.
I did sneak into the storeroom once to get another look at that door. I made a terrible ruckus, though!
Are you crazy?!
If Pam saw me, she'd put me to work right away fetching her 10 of these and 10 of those...
I got three words for that: No. Thank. You. I'm in my golden years! I wanna enjoy Life!
I can't believe it! This island has always been a topic of such mystery!
I think I'll enjoy exploring this place for a while.
Don't you worry. I'll go home at some point...when the time is right.
But please don't tell anyone where I went. Take this if you need a little incentive to keep things quiet.
Oh, by the way, if you save up enough Silver Lunares Coins, I'll gladly swap them for gold ones!
I'll be around here somewhere, so just drop by if you happen to need me.
