YueliaAh, Fred! Just the man we were looking for!FredOho! [Player] and Yuelia! You finally caught up
with me, then, did you?! YueliaDid you...know that we were looking for you? FredWell, I figured you were busy tracking me down
rather than praying at the Goddess Statues. True? YueliaNo! Well...maybe. I mean, we've actually been doing
both! We visited all of the statues! YueliaOh, and that little kitty eventually got its food. FredOh, good for the little kittykins. YueliaAre you sure there isn't something more to this? I
mean, do we really deserve something for just... FredHa ha! For just paying homage to a statue? Is that
what you were gonna say? FredLook, Lunares Coins were originally used like
letters, sending people's wishes to the Goddess. FredYes, really! Why would I say it if not really?! FredPeople put their wishes into the coins, and the
Goddess grants the wishes she receives. FredEach statue is home to a particular piece of the
power of the Goddess. FredThat way, more people could receive blessings, even
if the Goddess wasn't actually present! YueliaThe Great Spirit said that Lunares Coins are like the
ancestors of Dosh. FredShe's right, of course. Yes, there was a time when
correspondence was currency, if you can believe it. FredI imagine you've heard about the origin of the
different kinds of Life a person can adopt, yah? FredWell, instead of granting everyone's wishes herself... Fredthe Goddess gave humans the gift of Life, so that
people may fulfill each other's wishes. FredConsequently, instead of offering Lunares Coins
to the Goddess... Fredpeople focused on developing something they could
exchange among themselves. YueliaSo that's where Dosh came from... FredWith no purpose remaining to them, it is said the
Lunares Coins transformed into Dosh. FredOnly a few folks like me still even search for them,
you know. Most people think they're a myth. FredI was saving up the ones I found in case I ever ran
into trouble. But I don't need them now... FredSadly, they are so old that I doubt I'd get anything
good for them now. I shoulda sold 'em years ago. FredWell, think of a treasure chest. You don't know what
you're going to get until you open the chest, right? FredIn the same way, you never knew exactly what you
were going to get when you used a Lunares Coin. YueliaBut when the kitty wished for food, it got food! FredAh yes, but people's wishes are somewhat more
selfish and complicated than just "Kitty want food." FredBut anyway, there's no real need for these in a world
of plenty. They're more a novelty than anything else. YueliaYou sure know a lot about these coins, don't you? FredI better! I've been tracking them down all my Life! FredBut I can't hold a candle to the exploits of you two!
You saved the world, discovered an ancient island... FredYou even opened that old door I couldn't ever get
to budge! YueliaYou mean...the door to Origin Island? FredIS THAT WHERE IT LED TO?! OH, I WAS SO CLOSE! FredHow are my busybody granddaughters doing? YueliaYou're Pam's grandfather?! FredHa ha, that I am. YueliaBut she said you were...you know...dead. Didn't she?
I thought she did... FredWell, you can think whatever you want! I'm gonna
think I'm still alive and kicking! FredI hope those granddaughters are doing OK. A good
bunch they are. Nosy, but...good girls. YueliaHave you seen Pam and the girls recently? FredUm, well...not yet. FredI did sneak into the storeroom once to get another
look at that door. I made a terrible ruckus, though! YueliaYou should go visit Pam! FredIf Pam saw me, she'd put me to work right away
fetching her 10 of these and 10 of those... FredI got three words for that: No. Thank. You. I'm in my
golden years! I wanna enjoy Life! YueliaWell...when you put it that way, I can't really argue
with you, I guess. FredI can't believe it! This island has always been a topic
of such mystery! FredI think I'll enjoy exploring this place for a while. FredDon't you worry. I'll go home at some point...when
the time is right. FredBut please don't tell anyone where I went. Take this
