Field talk (1,272 lines)

Prologue: Welcome to Reveria!

Reveria. It is a land of peace, magic...and dreams. I used to look down on Reveria from the clouds. But now I look up to that same sky. The moon lives behind the dream-filled haze of night. Reverians refer to the moon as Lunares. When the curtain of shadows falls, Lunares bathes all of Reveria in pools of its shimmering, silver light. At the break of dawn, a call will go out for a new hero. A hero who now tosses and turns in an uneasy dream... This hero will choose between the sword and the wand. Perhaps this hero will select the needle over the axe, or the rod over the bow. A hero may forge legendary weapons, wield an epic blade, or brew magical potions. The choices are many... Perhaps this hero will sew. Or saw. Perhaps the hero will sew and saw while on a seesaw. HA! ...Sorry. I thought that was kinda funny. All of this grand speech weighs on me after a while... Anyway...I think I see the first light of the sunrise! Let's find out if our hero is ready to awaken... I think it's time for your story to begin.

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Five

[Player], Laura, I'll explain later.

Right now, we need to save Leilah.

Go find the Doomstone.

My powers will only hold off the effects of the Doomstone temporarily.

[Player], Laura! You must find the Doomstone and destroy it before it's too late!

[Player]! Did you destroy the Doomstone?

Noelia?! What are YOU doing here?!

It worked! I can't believe it! Noelia, you saved her!

Whatever happened to humility in success?

You've been so devious about trying to get your hands on Doomstones. What are you really up to?

Noelia! How could you do that?

We've talked before about how wrong it is to go around manipulating people!

I swear, 99% of everything you do is just plain selfish!

*sigh* Noelia...

We're so glad you're OK, Leilah!

It must be nice to have a sibling you can...*sniff* consider a *sniff* friend. I'm sorry...

Yuelia. *sniff* My name is Yuelia.

I'm just glad everything turned out *sniff* OK. You'll have to excuse me. I'm sorry!

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cry there.

It's just...this whole thing has been very difficult for me. It's not just Noelia...

I feel terrible for deceiving you, [Player]. I wanted to tell you who I really was, but I just couldn't.

I thought it wasn't a big deal at first, but then we got to be friends, and then...I don't know what I thought.

I feel like I manipulated you just as much as Noelia did that goon over there. Can you forgive me? [Choice: Of course / Never]

*sniff* Oh, [Player]...

Even after all we've been through?!

B-but...I lied to your faces so many times!

Oh. Laura...*sniff* Thank you.

*sniff* HA! Thank you. *sniff*

Noelia is my sister. But you probably already guessed that.

She acts like such a selfish, spoiled brat, but she's not a bad person on the inside.

She and I are both looking for the same thing. We're just going about it completely differently.

We both know that in order to save Reveria, we must harness the power of wishes...

Yes, I suppose it is a rather novel concept.

But it seems to be the only way to abate the doom that is constantly moving closer to Reveria.

Father made it very clear to us before we left...

"To save this world from destruction, you must use the very power of wishes themselves.

It is an energy source that has all but vanished from the hearts of those who inhabit Reveria."

See, there is a connection between wishes and the existence of each Life in this world.

Noelia and I both came to Reveria determined to secure that power.

We ended up getting separated somehow in our journey here, though.

From...a place very far away from here.

Really? She wants to meet with us unproven ones?

I can't wait to actually see The Great Spirit! Let's all go together!

That's the one!

Sorry. I guess that was a bit of an abrupt reveal.

Well...I guess the cat's out of the bag now.

HA! Yes, well...that I may still be. Your world is very different from the one I come from.

Great Spirit, there is a question I must ask you.

Do you creatures and beasts of nature have wishes just as people do?

Well...it seems to me if all beings, creatures, and even spirits had wishes, why then...

My mother was here long ago...

We truly have been, Great Spirit!

Through these travels, we've met so many interesting people and seen so many splendid things!

Thank you, Great Spirit!

I hope so! I'm so excited, I can't stop shaking!

[Player]! We're coming with you, of course!

I can't believe it. My mother's ship...

Yes! Let's do it!

I can't believe it! This was Mother's ship...

Hm... Take a look at this.

I'm not sure. I'm...unfamiliar with these symbols.

This is not music—it's a book.

No. Where I come from, music simply...flows from the heart.

I feel like...like I know these songs somehow.

It's almost as if I've been here before.

You know, I really have so few memories of my mother. But one thing I do recall...

is her sweet singing voice. It was so lovely.

I would give anything to hear her sing again.

This ship is bringing back so many vague memories for me.

I recall Mother talking about how she once saved Reveria from doom. ...Can I do now as she did then?

Lunares...the color is shifting.

Noelia was right.

We're running out of time.

In order to save Reveria from destruction, we must find a way to harness all of its resources.

If we cannot find a way to do this soon, I fear the worst shall befall us.

Yes, Your Highness!

Oh, that sounds quite lovely.

I feel so much more positive about the chances of this happening now!

There is someone I still need to apologize to.

Pam has been just as much of a friend to me as anyone since I arrived here.

Yes, Your Highness?!

Might I return to Castele for a bit? There is someone I would like to speak with.

Y-yes, Your Highness. Thank you.

Thank you for all of your help, Laura. I want you to know you're a wonderful friend.

OK, [Player]! Let's return to Castele!

I need to talk to Pam immediately.

We've been to the Elderwood!

There was a village in there filled with spirits and a huge tree that we climbed up!

And when we got there, we could see all of Reveria! And there was The Great Spirit too! It was amazing!

I'm with you on that one, Pam!

Wait a second! You...you know who I am?!

Oh, well...hrm.

It was meant to be a secret. I didn't think you knew.

Um...that's OK. Now that I'm not a butterfly, I guess I can say...*I'm not really a fan of sugared water.*

[Player]...please!

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Six

OK, let's get going and—

Ugh...hang on a second. I think I'm getting too used to being a butterfly.

I get a little wobbly right when I transform. But I think I'm good to go now. Let's do it!

Mustang and Odin!

My apologies. Of course.

I'm getting much better when it comes to etiquette and social customs, though!

Odin? What's the matter?

It's nice to see you!

[Player]! Let's go!

Thank you, King Erik.

Hello. Uh...OK. So, for those of you who don't know me, my name is Yuelia.

We have all met before, although some of you may not recognize me.

My human form is a bit more bulky than my, uh... previous form.

Yes, that's me.

Did everyone know it was me all this time?!

*I need to learn some better voice modulation.*

Anyway...yes, thank you for coming. I think you all know parts of the situation.

But the reality is such that the overall picture is much worse than you might suspect.

Reveria is in grave danger. And our time is rapidly running out.

If we don't act soon...the entire sky is... Well, it's going to fall. Completely.

The Doomstones were a sign of the impending disaster.

They are chunks broken off...from the sky.

The sky above Reveria, you see, well, it's difficult to explain...but think of it as something like a shell.

OK, that's really frightening when you all do that at the same time.

But imagine that this...shell covers all of Reveria. The land and its inhabitants are the core of this shell.

The power that supported this shell and maintained the integrity of this world...is now gone.

The shell is crumbling. Its pieces are raining down from the sky. These chunks of negative energy are—

Correct. These Doomstones then contaminate any creatures exposed to their dark power.

Yes. Completely.

The destructive powers that emanate from this broken shell will spread through the entire world.

My father is certain it cannot be stopped.

He's... Well, you have to promise you're not all going to flip out with exclamation points if I tell you.

...But my father is... What's the best way to say this... I guess you would just call him Reveria's creator.

OK, I should've seen that one coming...

What would you call someone who creates a world?

It's a lot to take in, I know. It must be hard to believe right away.

But I'm trying to be open now with all of you as best as I can. Allow me to explain...

I feel everyone here should know all that I know.

Yikes. Did you write that one yourself, Lady Olivia?

Well, before coming here, I had a very intense conversation with my father.

I was trying to convince him to let me come down here to Reveria.

But Reveria was so very dear to Mother! She loved it so much, Father!

We can't just stand by and let Reveria be destroyed!

But, Father, there must be a way to save Reveria!

There is so much beauty there. If we don't do something to help them...

all of that beauty will just...cease to be.

I don't believe that for a second! You taught me I could always change things if I wanted to!

The power of wishes? What do you mean?

Fine, then. I'm going down there!

What's to think about? Those wishes aren't going to collect themselves, are they?

I understand that. I'm not interested in this because I thought it would be easy. But it must be done.

What now, Noelia? I'm going down to Reveria, OK? And there's nothing you can say that will stop me!

I don't need a guardian or a bodyguard!

What are you really up to? You don't even care about Reveria!

That's not true! There's something you want down in Reveria, but you're not saying what it is!

I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT WE'RE ARGUING ABOUT ANYMORE!

Thank you, Father!

I didn't get very far with those guys.

But it did become very clear to me that so many were more concerned with their own limited worlds...

rather than caring about the greater health of the world they all shared.

Very few people were interested in taking up a Life... which meant there were fewer wishes around.

But then I met [Player]!

Yes! When I saw [Player], I saw a wish! A wish that I could help come true!

But it's something that has to come naturally from inside each individual. That's what makes it so hard.

A wish has to grow on its own. And its power must then be accepted. So many people shy away from it.

It makes me wonder...even if I collected all the wishes in the world, would it be enough to save Reveria?

I've traveled far and wide finding out people's wishes and noting them all...

And yet...it seems like it's just not enough.

Yes, of course!

Oh! Is that— It's true, isn't it?!

Oh, no, Laura, thank you! It makes me so happy to hear all of this.

It's a little embarrassing, but I don't quite remember how I got here... I'm sorry.

It was my first time being a butterfly, so learning to fly was already a lot for me. It's just a big blur...

I get so nervous talking in front of a lot of people like that. Am I sweating? I feel hot.

While we've got some time now...I think we should go talk to that pilot, Falcon.

Either he's full of nonsense, or he is our only lead. We need to find out one way or another.

Let's go track him down before they reconvene the summit here.

Hi! We were over at the Royal Court just now...when you busted in there? And started shouting?

Well, we're not here to...same's do. We're actually interested in asking you a few questions about it.

Can you tell us more about seeing Terra Nimbus?

I have no doubts about that, Mr. Falcon. But let's get back to Terra Nimbus...

*zzzz* Carrot Soup...

Oh! I'm so sorry! I must've... I was just...

What do you mean by that?

He was a great pilot, eh?

Do you know where this pilot ended up?

We actually had a question for you, Pam. Do you remember renting a room to one of Falcon's pupils?

I wonder if Olivia or Andy know this pilot.

Even if they don't, I think it's worth checking out.

Let's see if we can track the pilot down. Maybe he can help us with finding Terra Nimbus.

Even if he can't, maybe he can point us to someone who can.

It's not much to go on...but it's something.

Thanks, Pam! You've been a great help!

Let's speak with Olivia first, [Player]. I want to see if she knows anything about this.

We'll fill you in on all the details later, Pam.

Oh, great! Thanks for the tips, Pam!

No guarantee. But finding this guy is worth a shot.

Yeah...that's remarkably like what I just said, Hughes.

Understood, King Erik!

Olivia, we were hoping maybe you could help us find this pilot named Robin.

Is something wrong?

Got it! Thanks!

Let's get going!

No! You must stop this!

Remember your true selves! Please!

Oh, I'm so glad to see you both!

Yeah, I know, but—

OK. You're right, Noelia.

Hey, [Player]. See that Doomstone? Let's do it.

Um, well...I was...you know, just...

*sigh* Look, I had no idea what happened with the airship. When I came to, I didn't know where I was.

And I was completely alone.

I tried finding a way out of the forest, but I kept getting lost.

So I asked this dragon here for directions, and everything was fine, but then a Doomstone crashed—

I'm sorry you two had to come looking for me.

I somehow find that hard to believe, Noelia.

Thank you, Noelia.

That's fine. Then thank you just a little.

Noelia, I'll give you all the time in the world to cover up your emotions. But later.

There's something I want to show you two. Come with me, OK?

That is one massive Floatstone...

Wow. It's beautiful.

I don't know. Do you think it's big enough to power Mother's airship?

OH! So why is it here?

But why did Mother come here?

A Doomstone the size of an island?

So...would that be...

That's what I was gonna say.

Mother did it for us...

This world she wanted to show us really is beautiful. I never thought I could love Mother even more.

Noelia, are you crying?

Yeah, but we thought we could, y'know...stretch it out a little bit.

But what if we need more time?!

I think he's gone.

If only Mother was here with us...she would know what to do.

But Dad said there's no more time...

What's an "eclipse"?

Look, I've heard the word before, OK? I just don't know what it means. Is it a meal?

You don't know what an eclipse is either, do you?

Uh-huh. Why do I not believe you're suddenly concerned about the people down in Reveria?

HA! You're the one who was the crybaby!

Back to Lunares? What do you mean?

You think that Floatstone is the key to us finding a way to save Reveria?

Ready, [Player]?

HA! It thinks you look like Mother!

Oh, Robin, you've got no idea! You should've seen her earlier when she was crying like a baby!

It was Noelia the crybaby all over again.

That's really Larkin! He has been on Terra Nimbus all this time!

No, no, it's we who should thank you.

We wouldn't have been able to do any of this without your help, remember?

Yes, of course! We're on a tight schedule!

I just wanted to say I'm sorry.

I think I misjudged you.

If we work together, I'm hopeful we can save Reveria. ...For Mother's sake.

Oh. Um, well...OK. Yeah!

Come on, [Player], let's head back to Castele.

We've got to tell everyone what we found!

My king, we found it!

We found Terra Nimbus!

And better yet, we found a Floatstone big enough to power the Goddess Ship!

Stunning, isn't it?

Actually, we think this stone originally came from Mother's airship!

Pardon her, Your Grace. That's my sister, Noelia.

So we need to take the Floatstone back to Lunares to see if we can come up with something there.

Yeah...that's the part we haven't quite figured out yet. I mean, we're going back one way or another...

Oh! It's the cute little man from Mount Snowpeak!

Hello, Mr. Indubitable Crowned Champion!

You forgot you'd studied Terra Nimbus?

I'm not...exactly sure what his routine is, but he's made it clear to us the opening in the sky...

is closing. Reveria is gradually losing the power to sustain the opening.

Maybe you're...catching a cold.

Wait, so we can actually fly the Goddess Ship...all the way up to Lunares? Are you sure?

If I hold my breath, will that make me lighter?

Wow, unanimous approval! Sort of.

You'll get to see Lunares, [Player]!

That makes me so happy!

I'll take some sugared water for the journey, thanks!

Oh, it almost slipped my mind! We've got to say good-bye to Pam before we go!

I've got to fill her in before we say farewell! Let's go, [Player]! Hurry!

Yes, we tracked down Robin!

And not only that, we also went to a place called Terra Nimbus! It's in the sky, above the clouds!

The view was sensational. You would've loved it!

There's something else I need to tell you, Pam.

It's been decided that we'll be going to Lunares.

Yes, that's right.

Um...right. Sure.

Oh, nothing. We'll tell you all about Lunares...when we come back. I promise.

[Player]! You've got to read the letter!

Tale of Lunares: Final Chapter

Oh! Hey there. You startled me.

Oh! I-I'm sorry! I didn't realize.

Yes. This is where I first heard someone in Reveria mention Mother...

And it's where I met [Player]... *sniffle* This is kind of a special place for me, I guess...

I'm sorry. I just get so sad when I think about never seeing all of my friends again!

Really? You...you really think so?

Yeah, I guess you're right. Sorry if I worried you, [Player]. *sigh* I just needed some time...

Let's be off, then! We've got a world to save!

Great Spirit! Wake up!

It's time for us to go, Great Spirit.

*I said I was sorry, Noelia!*

...More like fallen into Reveria. HA!

*ahem* But yes, I have. And now I have to go back to Lunares!

HA! You sound like a baby when you speak Furlin.

Thank you for everything, Great Spirit. We will see you soon. I hope.

Nice to see you too, Laura.

I'm really sorry for worrying everyone!

Oh, Pierre! Butch! I'll miss your little goon faces!

Oh, Pino...Leilah! I wish we had more time together!

Falcon! Thank you for, well...everything.

Thank you, Your Highness! I hope you'll keep sending us letters!

We won't let you down. I promise!

I'm sorry for the wait, Robin! I actually have feelings, that's all. Unlike some of us.

Oh, I'm so glad to hear that.

Come on, Engine!

We're really going back to Lunares!

What happened? Why aren't we moving?

Please, Engine! You have to...get going!

The lid of Lunares is almost closed!

[Player]! Wake up, [Player]!

How do you feel, [Player]?

We made it! We're on Lunares!

Really? You were that worried about us making it?

Well, that doesn't instill confidence in me about our chances of visiting Reveria again.

Come on, [Player]! Let's go outside! I want to show you Lunares!

[Player], welcome to my home, Lunares!

It must look like a lot to take in at first, but don't worry—I'll show you around!

Here you can see Mother's ship. All in one piece and safe and sound.

This is one of our Star Trees.

Reveria is right inside there.

See that little floaty thing that looks like a nut? Well, that's Reveria!

Father! Hello?! Anybody home?

If you want a closer look, you can climb up that ladder there. Noelia is always leaving that out.

Lunares is sort of a base for observing different universes all across the cosmos.

That's true. I was always getting in trouble for not eating dinner. You can really get lost in there!

Hello, Father! Are you glad to see us?

They really have, Father! You have no idea!

We found it in a forest on Reveria!

The people and spirits down there on Reveria helped us fix it up so we could come home!

Look, we don't have time for this right now. Father, we brought you back something extremely precious!

Just like I said I would!

[Player] helped me gather these wishes from the citizens of Reveria!

I heard so many people's wishes! I brought as many as I could!

Happy wishes, bittersweet wishes, secret wishes... All kinds of different wishes!

Filled with all sorts of power!

You know, at first, I only heard selfish wishes...

And, to be honest with you, I started getting sad.

But then I was able to turn it around and really get to know some people!

And it started being so fun! Well, I mean, it wasn't just fun. It was hard and scary and tough at times...

but I realized that that's what Life is all about! It's not just all roses, but it's never all thorns, either!

And if we never got mad, we'd never be able to really enjoy a smile!

And if we never cried, we'd never be able to feel just how good it is to laugh.

And if our hopes and dreams for the future endure everything... Well, that's what keeps us going in Life!

I've brought all of these wishes to you—honest and powerful wishes filled with this power!

These wishes are filled with the power to save Reveria. Just like Mother wanted.

I see why she loved Reveria so much. I am forever indebted to the friends I've made in my time there.

Please, Father, let me use the wishes I've gathered...

Noelia...I knew you'd come around.

Mother, grant us your strength...

But it actually worked!

Oh, Mother! It's so wonderful to see you again. Is this...is this a dream?

Mother, we ask for your strength and your courage. We're, um...not quite sure how to do this.

HA! Sounds like you're making a wish stew!

You're saying that...that people cry and we don't know why?

Sure. Noelia shed more, though.

HA! I've never laughed so much before in my Life!

So...it's like a tear soup more than a happiness stew.

...Here. She was right here with us.

Doesn't look like what?

What?! How can that be?!

I'm glad I got to spend so much time there. It really is the most wonderful place. I'll miss it so...

What about you, [Player]? Did you enjoy our time on Reveria? [Choice: $$Of course I did! / It was OK...]

It was wonderful, wasn't it?

Oh! Such cynicism so late in the game! I'm shocked.

Don't you still wish that Reveria could continue on? [Choice: Yes / Nah]

I know. Me too...

Oh! I mean...really? That's just flat-out heartless.

I have so many wonderful memories of Reveria... The town square where we first met, [Player]...

so many fascinating lands we journeyed across...

my first taste of sugared water...

Pierre's ridiculous hairstyle...

Yeah, I guess I won't miss that last one so much...

But I'm not ready to give up just yet. I made a promise to Laura, and I intend to keep it!

[Player]...you remember your wish, right?

It was "[Name 1]" wasn't it?

[Player]...do you know what I wish for? [Choice: I think so / No idea, sorry]

Oh, I knew you would!

And I thought we knew each other after all this time!

You've been a wonderful friend. I am so grateful we met one another.

Thank you, [Player]. Thank you.

I know what I have to do.

Father, I've made up my mind.

I have a wish of my own.

Hello there! Wonderful weather, isn't it?

I'm glad you came by. I was just...just thinking.

Lunares is so beautiful, just look up there...

Race you to the Grassy Plains! Ready, set, go!

What's the matter?

HA! It's me, isn't it...?

You're still not quite used to seeing me in this form...

That's OK. After all, I am the one who said "just like old times!"

Give me one second here...

These wings still fit like a glove!

Flutter 028 Forest Life

Are you attending the summit, Pino?

I can't wait for the summit to start! It's going to be a big step in the right direction for all of Reveria!

I don't think that's true at all!

Since I came here, everyone I have met has been kind and quite friendly.

Perhaps at first, but I think we could overcome it. We have to trust in each other, Pino.

But the great thing about people is that they can always change, Pino!

Lady Olivia has made amends with the pirates.

Lady Demona was under a great deal of stress and is now fully committed to the well-being of her family.

The heroes we've met seem willing to listen to and respect Lord Damien. Well, most of them...

I'll admit Magnificus can be a bit trying to deal with, but just let him think he's in charge, and it's OK.

Well, Pino, your wish has been heard!

I know how you feel. I was nervous before coming to Reveria too.

Flutter 029 In the Shade of the Forest

Leilah! It's good to see you. How are you feeling?

Are those two goons causing you any trouble?

Um...aren't monsters ever...wrong?

What?! You did?

Yeah, that is kinda weird...

I think he's had quite a bit of practice with that.

Well, if that is what you want most, Leilah...

Your wish has been heard!

Yeah...I sparkle sometimes. Can't help it.

HA! Well...y'know, I mean...maybe someday we'll have time to sit down. I could teach you some tricks!

Of course! We'd like that!

What do you say, [Player]?

Flutter 030 In Mother's Footsteps

Hello again, Great Spirit!

"Child of Lunares" is a bit on the formal side. You can just call me Yuelia!

Uh...that is, if you want to, Great Spirit. HA!

Thanks! My mother chose that name!

Were you close with my mother, Great Spirit?

You mean, even The Great Spirit had something to wish for?

So what was it? What did you wish for?

Aw, I think it's sweet!

Well, I must say, my mother was a great teacher.

HA! You're probably right.

No, thank you, Great Spirit. For your wonderful words and for all of your help.

Meeting you has been a blessing for us.

Well, we would love to come back and hear more of your stories when there is time.

Flutter 031 Emotions Running High

There's something about meeting such wonderful people that is quite energizing!

She said she hasn't seen you since you were a girl!

Why didn't you ever go back to visit the forest?

That's actually a good point. There's a good chance they would've bumbled into a lot of things.

I guess sometimes I can be a little naive about things like that...

Of course! That's what friends do!

So that's what you want most, Queen Ophelia?

Well, your wish has been heard!

I've got a good feeling about that wish!

Everyone in Reveria has been so kind, even to a simple butterfly like me.

It's clearly inside them! All they have to do is open themselves up and let that energy fly!

Flutter 032 The Lunares Airship

How's the research assistance going, Butch?

He ate a bad mushroom, didn't he?

Lovesick, maybe.

Your work ethic is suddenly very impressive, Pierre. Can I ask you what's changed?

Um, OK, just calm down. Your wish has been heard.

Have you talked to Leilah about how you feel?

Oh dear... You might want to rethink that last part.

What's that? By all means. Enlighten me.

He may be doing repairs here, but he's definitely got a screw loose.

Flutter 033 A Little Robin Told Me

How's it going, Robin?

How's the airship coming along?

Oh, I'm sure he is. I was just, y'know...curious.

Just wanted to see what you thought the chances were of us...actually landing the airship this time.

I see that, yes, but...so you're pretty sure you can figure out how to fly the Goddess Ship, Robin?

Uh, no, actually, that's quite all right.

Your wishes have been heard!

This engine just went silent. What happened?

You want me to...talk...to the engine? Uh, OK. Yeah, sure. I can do that. Um...what do engines talk about?

Flutter 034 Back in Business

Hello again, Crankshaft!

Oh! So you're all helping out too?

Your help means so much! Thank you!

Oh, let's just say...it would be a shame for such a beautiful place to go to waste.

Your wish has been heard! And seen!

What about you, Aurora? Do you have a wish?

Well, Aurora, your wish has been heard!

Sounds like a plan!

Flutter 035 Tiny Village in the Sky

Hi there, everyone!

Oh, hey there, Larkin! You just been...hanging out here all this time?

Wait...what did that one just say?

Did you just...

Wait, so you've been tricking us this whole time?!

Yeah, well...I guess I did.

I didn't know they came from here! They're not as sharp as you all up here, though!

Do these talk too?

Uh...Larkin, is this true?

I'm not sure I understand...but...your wishes have been heard! *You were right, Larkin. These Plushlings are kind of weird. But in a good way!*

OK. I'll buy that.

I guess monsters, humans, and spirits are all Plushnots, then, aren't they?!

Flutter 036 Moon Girl and the Beast

Hello again, Mr. Furlin!

Oh, why, thank you very much.

I don't feel all that beautiful today, but it's so kind of you to say so, Sir Fluffles.

Why, to compare me to one of the Elderwood's beautiful white roses...come now.

Oh, you big fur ball! Flattery will get you everywhere!

Oh, relax, Noelia. I was just trying to have some fun. Isn't that what you're always telling me to do?

Yeah, Noelia can be a little...difficult to deal with sometimes, but she means well.

Do you know what her nickname used to be?

Mr. Flufflin really seems to have a thing for you. What's that about, Noelia?

Have you seen any others here?

So you're all alone, Mr. Flurffles... You poor thing.

I'm just trying out some other names. I want to maximize his cuteness! Sorry, Mr. Furlin. Would you like to come with us on an adventure sometime and hang out with other friends?

Great! We'll be the cutest band of adventurers the world has ever seen!

Why don't you come too, Noelia?

Oh, stop. C'mon, don't be mad at me. I was just teasing you. You're always needling me!

Yes, I think we should all go adventuring together sometime too, Mr. Furlin!

Huh? Oh...no, I mean...uh, lucky guess? HA! Yeah, sorry... I took a quick refresher class before we came down here.

Yay! Let's go finish up our saving-the-world adventure! I can't wait!

Flutter 037 Noisy Engine

Uh...hello, Mr. Engine. ...How's it going? Nice weather we're having, huh?

Um...sorry. I'm not Celestia. My name is Yuelia.

No. That's my sister.

Mr. Engine, uh, sir...I'm afraid to be the bearer of bad news, but this whole world is in grave danger!

We have to hurry and get to Lunares so we can deliver all of Reveria's wishes to my father.

We could really use your help.

Is there anything we can do for you so that you can help us?

Oh, thank you so much!

Robin here will be piloting you! He's the best there is in all of Reveria!

Is everything OK?

Take your time, Engine. And thanks for your help!

Um...are you sure you don't need it?

Flutter 038 We're Back, Pam!

Pam! We're back! Did you miss us?

I think I was expecting a little more surprise...

You did? Really?

What?! How did you know that?

Oh no! I totally forgot that! My dad is gonna be so mad at me...

Wow, Pam. You're really good at this.

Guess what?! From now on, I'm officially a permanent resident of Reveria!

Well, I'm sure I'll miss it sometimes, but I'll be OK.

I'll go visit home from time to time. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, right?

Oh, I don't need to do that!

I'm happy living with [Player] for the time being! We make a great team.

Thank you, [Player]! Sorry for putting you on the spot there, though. I should have asked you first.

Great idea! Let's go, [Player]!

Flutter 039 Crashing the Castle

We had such a great time, Laura! I wish you could've been there with us!

I was! And then...I decided to come back!

Well, now you can see me anytime you like! I think I'll be sticking around here for quite some time.

It's my pleasure, King Erik. Really, it's I who should be thanking you! I had such a good time here!

Besides, I didn't save Reveria. You all did! I just collected all of the wishes that were here.

That's right! Sorry I didn't let you know sooner. Is... is that OK?

Oh, well, that's very thoughtful of you, King Erik.

Yeah, that...probably has nothing to do with any of this. But I'm glad to hear it!

I know. But Reveria is much more exciting, Laura!

Flutter 040 Teatime with Royalty

Hrm. I wonder what this one is all about!

Let's go take a look at that letter, [Player]!

Why, hello there!

Queen Ophelia! This is a pleasant surprise.

What do you mean?! You sent us a letter asking us to come and see you!

What do you mean "situation"?

What? There's a rank beyond Legend?!

Sorry, but this is news to us.

What an amazing dagger! Where did it come from?

So if this dagger wasn't made in Reveria, who do you think created it?

Oh, Queen Ophelia, I bet you'd love Lunares! Maybe we'll take you along sometime!

Flutter 041 Noelia and the Furlin

Grace, this is my sister, Noelia.

HA! *I wish.* No, I mean the girl in black.

Grace is a Shrine Maiden here on Origin Island.

Oh...HA! I completely forgot! Right.

I disguise myself as a butterfly to escape attention...

Wearing all black doesn't give you the right to be so mean, you know!

Oh, you mean like your Furlin? Who has been staring off in the distance this entire time?

Um...I'm not sure we've done anything he should be thanking us for, but...it's a very nice rug. Thank you.

We just came from a beach with Furlin everywhere!

Would you like to see it?

Someday you're going to regret all the mean things you said to me!

You said there was something you wanted to see here. What is it?

...What? We've been busy with other things. I'm not like you. That's not the first thing out of my mouth.

You call her the Goddess—we call her Mama!

Well, let us know if you find anything good, Noelia!

We're going to take Grace and Dogu to Happy Dancing—I mean, to Reveria!

Come on! Let's get going!

Flutter 042 Castele's Kid King

This is Grace, a Shrine Maiden from...wait for it... Origin Island!

Indeed we did, Professor Huey. Let me introduce you to everyone, Grace.

This is Erik, king of Castele.

Next to him is Queen Ophelia, and on the other side is Princess Laura.

And this guy wants you to call him Huey now. He's a researcher who likes to pretend he knows everything.

He's a bit like your grandfather on Origin Island. A respected leader type who, y'know, says stuff.

Honestly, Huey...who would have thought you had such a passion for...moving people around?

Grace has only just arrived here in Reveria! We don't need to bombard our guest with needless questions!

Oh, King Erik, you've already given me so much.

Flutter 043 Next Port of Call

Hello again, Olivia!

Ah, well, I guess I can say that a few things have happened since we last saw you! You got a minute?

Oh, so you've heard of it?

Now that I think about it...I don't remember seeing any ships there...

Everything really is about sailing and the seas for you all, isn't it?

Are you OK, Grace? Was it the fish analogy?

Thank you very much!

Flutter 044 The Sultan's Tower

Hello again, Damien!

Grace, I would like you to meet Damien, the exalted Dark Sultan of Al Maajik!

You don't have to be nervous around Damien. He's a great friend...who needs to be filled in, I think!

That's so thoughtful, Damien! Thanks for the... whatever it is.

Sir Odin, you haven't even said one word to Grace since we got here!

Flutter 045 The Living Forest

Hello again, Great Spirit!

Grace, this is The Great Spirit Danuta, who watches over the Elderwood.

Oh wow, you're good, Danuta.

BAM! Amazing, Danuta!

You hear that, Grace? You surprised The Great Spirit!

I got this. Let me explain...

Even you, Great Spirit?

I know that feeling. I feel lonely when I think of my home sometimes too. Danuta's right. It's natural.

Whenever you feel a bit lonely, it's good to have someone to talk to.

Aw, you didn't have to get us anything, Pino!

Thank you, Leilah! You shouldn't have! But I'm glad you did.

Flutter 046 The Sky's the Limit

Sure thing. And let me introduce you, uh...Grace?

This is Grace and her little friend, Dogu. They're from Origin Island!

Yeah, I don't know how hip that thing is, Dad.

Father! You're shameless!

Grace is being very respectful and very serious.

Everyone looks up to you as a god!

Whether you think of yourself in that way or not doesn't really matter.

You're always trying to shirk your responsibility. You have obligations in your Life too, you know!

This doesn't just have to do with Grace, you know! This is about Noelia and myself too!

We're trying to find out as much as we can about Mother, and you're just...you're just standing there!

You're not the only one who misses her, you know! And it's not fair that you're not helping us! *sniff*

How am I supposed to know that if you don't tell us?

You're not being honest with us, and you're completely discounting our feelings at the same time!

Just...just help us. OK?

Maybe he's just exhausted from all of the running around we've been doing.

Of course! We've only scratched the surface of what the world of Elated Comfy Toes has to offer!

You still need to see Mount Snowpeak. Not to mention the floating island of Terra Nimbus!

Father, I'm too tired to interrogate you properly. You're off the hook. For now.

Let's head home, [Player]! I need some sleep!

Flutter 047 Goddess's Ancient Tower

Grace, Dogu! What are you doing here?

Umm, well, I think Grace was about to call you, but she hadn't actually done it yet...but that's OK.

Mother, are you now able to come here whenever you wish?

Ooh, what is it, Mother?

What?! So you and Father fighting really did cause people to...to die?!

That's terrible...

Oh, Mother! You remembered!

It's all thanks to you that we can speak with Mother at all. It is weird that she didn't have a pie for me...

Flutter 048 Pam's Errand

What's wrong, Pam?

I wonder what Pam wants to ask us. I hope she's OK.

I also hope this isn't regarding her storage room.

Let's go find out, [Player]!

Anytime, Pam. What is it?

OK. What is it...?

Have you asked your sisters for help?

This...this is...

Uh...what is this?

Have you ever tried it?

Are you sure it's OK for us to take these? They must have been very important to him.

[Player]! Let's go to the Goddess Statue and try it out! I want to see if something happens!

Flutter 049 The Castele Goddess Statue

So we're supposed to offer the coin to the Goddess Statue, right, [Player]?

You know about these coins, mister?

Well, I just...got them from a friend.

Who are you, mister?

I see. I'm sorry.

So...what should I call you?

My name is Yuelia.

Uh...yeah, actually, it is. I like the name. ...And this here is the mighty [Player]!

Actually, it wouldn't. So...Fred, uh, can you show us what we're supposed to do with this coin?

It was our payment from a friend of ours, Pam. We, uh...we cleaned out her storage room.

Yeah...well, she said she had so many lying around...

Hey, you know, if you're after Lunares Coins, Pam might be able to help you with that.

How about we shift gears here...? So we heard we should offer these to the statue. Is that true?

Yeah, I think that's pretty much what I'm asking.

That sounds amazing...but how does it work?

I'm surprised Mother never told me about this.

Right...well, thanks. This one is a different color, though. What's that about?

What a strange old man...

He seemed to know what he was talking about, I suppose... He could use some manners, though.

Well, it's not like I went to finishing school either, right, [Player]!

Let's try using the coin and offering up a prayer! Then we should check the other Goddess Statues!

Flutter 050 The Port Puerto Goddess Statue

Close your eyes, cross your fingers, and let's give this statue the ol' Reveria High try!

What a lovely song! You should sing professionally!

We wanted to offer a prayer...

We heard that with some luck, just a little coin can become something amazing.

Wow! Where did you get that? Do you know Pam the landlady?

Ah, that must have been Fred!

Really? What's your wish?

Oh! Well, that is a mighty tall order.

But it's possible! I mean, look at [Player]! You can find a trustworthy pal out there somewhere!

I'm sorry to hear that.

Oh, don't do that! That never helps anything! And it guarantees you'll never get your wish!

Thank you very much!

But this makes me wonder even more...

Who exactly is Fred?

System Quest 003

Hey, [Player]! What's up? [Choice: Bliss check! / Never mind]

Hey, [Player]! What's up? [Choice: Join my party! / Bliss check! / Never mind]

[Player], do you have a sec to chat?

OK, maybe later!

I'm so glad we made friends with Pino and Leilah. I guess it just shows that people from different worlds can be friends too!

...But the most surprising thing was that Pam knew who I was! Or maybe the most surprising thing was that she didn't seem surprised at all!

Oh! Sorry! Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.

Hey, I was just thinking...wouldn't it be thrilling to go on a flight to a brand-new world?!

I can't believe so much has happened since we first met, [Player]!

...That time on the top of Mount Snowpeak? I was so nervous talking in front of everyone!

Oh! Sorry! Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.

I've had such fun since I came to Reveria. It's odd to say, but...I almost don't want this to end.

I'm glad the world is peaceful now, but it's a little dull, don't you think?

The good news is that I've had a lot of time to think about Mother and her love for Reveria!

Oh! Sorry! Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.

Isn't it kind of a shame to think there aren't any more lands to explore?

I'm so glad Grace had a good time. I think I'm starting to be able to understand Dogu too! When he screws up his eyebrows and says "Dogu," that's a sort of grudging yes...

but when he relaxes his mouth and says "Dogu," that's sort of an indirect no.

Oh! Sorry! Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.

I was just thinking about the fact that we haven't really seen much in terms of romance so far...

Let's check your Bliss!

It doesn't look like you've picked up any Bliss since our last check.

Hey, are you going out? Wait for me!

Yuelia

Wow, the weather's great today!

Wow, Lunares looks so pretty tonight!

Wow, the weather's great today!

Wow, the weather's great today!

Wow, Lunares looks so pretty tonight!

So where shall we go today? I hope our adventures never end!

Lunares looks particularly beautiful tonight. I wonder how Reveria might look from Lunares...

Butterfly

What can I do for you, [Player]? [Choice: Join my party! / A Bliss check! / Never mind]

I'm so glad we made friends with Pino and Leilah. People from different worlds can be friends too!

...But the most surprising thing was that Pam knew who I was! I was so convinced nobody knew my secret...but Pam knows everyone's business, I guess!

Oh. Sorry. Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.

Flying through the clouds...wouldn't it be amazing if we could go up there and just glide? *sigh*

It's nearly time, [Player]. So much has happened since we met! Do you remember that time when...

...And everyone was soooo nice about it!

Oh. Sorry. Once I get going, I guess it can be kind of hard to stop sometimes.

I've had such fun since I came to Reveria. I don't want to leave.

Yay, we're going out! I'm ready!

Origin Island: Chapter One

Oh, good morning, [Player]!

I've been waiting for you to get up. I've got to tell you about this crazy dream I had last night!

And the little doll just kept screaming "Dogu! Dogu!"

Isn't that weird? I mean, it was so vivid, but I'd never seen that girl or that doll before in my Life!

But something about it felt...familiar. Strange.

You ever have dreams like that, [Player]? [Choice: Never / All the time]

I swear I've never been to that island before. I mean, I could almost smell the salty sea air...

Well. Excuse me!

Oh! I almost forgot!

While you were conked out, Pam said she needed us to do something for her.

Something about her storage room.

Does she have a storage room? I don't even know. I've been a little busy to remember things like that.

Regardless, we should go talk to her!

What's this about a storage room?

Oh! I didn't realize that was part of your house.

Oh yeah? What do you think it is?

Don't tell me what I think you're about to tell me.

Boy, Pam wasn't kidding. Look at all this junk!

Some of this stuff looks pretty cool, though. Smells... It just smells like old things in here. I like it!

Let's root through this stuff and see what we find!

OK. So...no mouse. That's good.

Pam should probably think about selling some of this stuff. I'm definitely going to ask her about that—

Did you say something, [Player]?

Don't just stare at me in silence like I'm crazy. I heard you say...something.

Oh, whatever. Doesn't matter. Let's go update Pam.

WOW! LOOKIT THAT!

Oh...ha! Sorry about that. I'll try to stick to my indoor voice in here from now on.

This little doll, though... Something about it looks really familiar. Hrm.

[Player], do you think maybe...

Pam would let me have this if I asked nicely? Like, if I asked really, really nicely?

Remind me to ask her about that when we're done investigating here.

What do you think is up with this door, [Player]?

I mean, it's kind of cool to have a doorway just sitting in the middle of the room.

Makes you think maybe there's a portal or a whole other world in there if you open it, right?

What a cute staff!

This must have been her magic staff she played with growing up.

So much stuff! It reminds me of Laura's secret room!

Maybe Pam would let us take some souvenirs for, you know, for our efforts!

Guess that's kinda doubtful, eh?

Not a mouse to be found. Not even a whisker! *Thank goodness.*

I don't know, Pam. But you've got some really cool stuff in there!

Well, most of it is, I'm sure. But there was this one super-cute doll!

You'd remember it. It's super cute.

It was right next to that weird doorway in there.

Your grandfather was a little...strange, eh, Pam?

The Indubitable Crowned Champion Gladstone?!

Hey! It's Pierre and Butch! What's up, loafers?

That's right! I love it here! I wouldn't give up Reveria for...well, for the world!

You're building a house? Really? Wow, it sounds like maybe you guys got bit by the work-ethic bug, eh?

...You OK, Pierre?

Is that right? Singing a lot of love songs these days?

Well, good for you! So what are you doing here in Castele? Getting supplies?

Well, actually, maybe you guys can help us out with something over at Pam's...

But we didn't find anything.

Pretty weird, huh?

What do you mean? She's hearing stuff at night—we go in there and investigate. Nothing. That's weird!

Oh...yeah, I guess that makes sense.

Don't say it's a ghost!

You do have a lovely singing voice.

Although I hate to say it...I think Pierre is right.

I'm really not crazy about this idea, but let's check out the storage room tonight.

AGH! It's that doll! What's it doing?!

Um...we already saw you, you know.

Yikes, watch out, [Player]!

You OK, [Player]?

Looks like it ran outside. Should we go...get it? I mean, is that really our responsibility? We can just—

I think we better go check on Pam.

Hmm... Nothing unusual...

[Player], let's come back and try again at night!

Pam! Are you OK?!

So...is this doll, like...alive?

Oh, it's coming round!

Just relax there, buddy. We're not going to hurt you. What's your name?

Your name is Dogu?

No, that's Pam. Paaaaaam. Paaaaaaaaaaaam...

Well, looks like Dogu here was the mouse in your storage room, Pam.

It was ramming itself against that door in there.

I don't know why. He could just walk around it.

Hrm...Hughes wants to see us?

Didn't Pierre and Butch say they had done some sort of errand for Hughes?

I wonder if something's going on at the castle. We'll be there. Thank you.

I like daisies!

You are just the cutest little thing!

WOULD I EVER! THANKS, PAM!

Yeah, I guess we'd better get going!

Figured I'd make myself a little more presentable for the castle.

Did you want to come too, Dogu?

Are you sure you can behave?

HA! Dogggu, indeed. OK. You can come too.

Off to the castle, [Player]! You, me, and Dogu!

Noelia?! What are you doing here?

I don't know if I like that serious look on your face there, Hughes. Or is that your smile?

Was I being sharp? I was just... No, I didn't—so, uh, what's going on here, Noelia?!

Helping him out with...what? Why do I feel so weird all of a sudden? What is it, Hughes?

I'm not gonna do that.

Yeah, but I feel like you're going to tell me all about it anyway, so—

My expertise on what? Origin Island?

I'm sorry, but I'm no expert. I mean, I've heard of it, sure, but only because it's a legend.

What about Noelia? She's the daughter of a goddess too. Why don't you ask her?

I'm sorry. I guess I still don't understand why I'm here. Or why Noelia is here.

Yeah, that does sound strange...

Wait, so you think just because my father said something in his sleep it might coincide with a—

Funny...doll? Funny peculiar or funny ha ha?

I think it sounds adorable!

Uh...it was in Pam's Storage Room.

Look. Let me ask Father about Origin Island. I have a way with him. He'll spill the beans.

[Player], Dogu, let's go!

Father! We're back!

HA! Oh, Dad...you've got such a great sense of humor, do you know that?

Oh, come on, Father! I don't want anything. We're just here to say hi and ask you about Origin Island.

Dad, you're sweating.

It's supposedly a place where the ancient Reverians lived together with the Furlin!

There was some sort of godly presence, according to the ancient texts we've heard about.

Does this look familiar at all?

Father! You have to come clean with us. This is very important stuff here!

Stop trying to dance around the issue!

Let me ask you this: Who named you Divinus?

Was that drawing done to commemorate that particular point in history?

You're in it, Father. And so is Dogu!

So...where is this place now?

Why are you being so secretive about Origin Island?

Yeah, he was saying "Dogu, dogu." Like always.

Do you have some sort of...familiar sense when you look at Dogu? Like you've seen him before?

A door? Like...with a knob on it?

HA! Right. We all know you like to keep things simple, Dad.

A door with a star on the top?

We've seen that door! Haven't we, [Player]?

In Pam's Storage Room!

Maybe Dogu came out of that door! That's why he was trying to get it open!

When we found him, he was ramming into it...poor thing. He was trying to get back to Origin Island!

Let's do it! I want to see Origin Island!

Warn us...about what?

Wow, [Player]! You look like a whole new person!

So Gladstone was right? I guess I just chalked up what he was saying as nonsense.

I've never heard of a Creator rank. Are you sure this is real, Dad?

Wow! A Creator License! That's so exciting!

Thank you, Father. And, er...sorry if we were rude.

You know, for saying you can't draw or for wondering why you just made a door...

Oh, you're right! In the midst of these new possibilities, I almost forgot about Origin Island!

Hopefully we're not forgetting anything this time! Come on, [Player]!

Next stop: Origin Island!

It has the star on it just like Dad says. This has to be the same door.

Pam said her grandfather used to travel a lot.

I guess he just picked this up somewhere along the way. Maybe?

Well, Dad said we had to work together on this one, so should we give it a shot?

Oh, what's the matter? Scared?

You ready to do this, [Player]?

I've got butterflies in my stomach!

Which reminds me...

Let's go, [Player]! Into the great unknown!

I've got that feeling again...like everything is familiar, somehow. The light here, that breeze...

What's that over there?

Looks like...somebody sleeping?

Um...this is awkward.

Let's start over. Hello!

No! We're visitors from another world! We came through that door over there!

I just wanted to say hello... Why'd he have to run away like that?

Huh? What are you going to do?

Noelia just makes me crazy sometimes.

Ah, it's fine, Dogu. Hey, so let's go find your home!

Come on, [Player]! Let's see if we can find someone who knows Dogu.

What is this...?

What language is that?

Hey, there's that sleepy guard.

Why do I not like the looks of this...?

I'm Yuelia. And this is the renowned adventurer, [Player]. Leo, is it?

We didn't steal anything! We were helping him get home! Though I don't see what the big deal is.

*Sheesh! Give me a break!*

I just thought I could help speed this along. See, we came here from Castele, and we thought that—

Oh, you'd love it. It's beautiful. One of the nicer places in Reveria.

Reveria is the place that's on the other side of that ancient door portal you're all so worked up about.

...May I continue?

Maybe I should start over from the beginning.

Well, that was a much quicker explanation than the one I was about to give.

You're welcome! But we're actually from a place called Castele.

Really? I didn't know that. But I like it!

So yeah, we found little Dogu here in a storage room in Castele.

What is this Ancient Disaster?

I bet you're a big hit at parties.

We can do that!

This is [Player]. And I'm Yuelia!

It's so beautiful here! This forest is magical!

It reminds me of the Elderwood back in Reveria!

Yep! It's a really wonderful place!

Um, yeah, when you put it like that, I suppose it still is, sure!

We'll tell you anything you want to know!

I have to say, Grace, you're much less formal than I thought you'd be at first.

Yeah! You two seem pretty close.

What was that chant for? Some sort of sacred rite?

Grace? The truth is what?

Whoa! What is that smell?!

I think I'm gonna be sick...

Am I the only one who smells that?

Looks like Dogu isn't such a fan of it either, eh?

Nice to meet you, elder, sir!

How's the soak?

Really? Have we met?

Well, that's good to know, sir elder.

Oh, it's our pleasure! We just wanted to help the little guy. No need to thank us...Poppa Rondo.

Ahhhh...heavenly. I shall soak till I shrivel.

I can't tell if you're enjoying yourself, [Player].

What do you think? Should we just set up shop here on Origin Island? I'm loving it here so far!

Grace is getting pretty excited about something over there. Doesn't sound like it's in a good way.

Sounds like Poppa...Jimmy Nines is giving Grace the business over there.

Pam? Is that you?!

Yes, but we didn't know we were going to cause such a ruckus here!

It's honest! I'm Yuelia. And this is [Player].

Um...yeah. Is something wrong?

[Player], doesn't she look just like Pam?

Oh, no one. Just a friend of ours back home.

Sure! Any idea where we can find her?

Got it! Come on, [Player]. Let's go find her!

Oh, thanks very much, Dogu!

Wow, thanks! Looks...yummy!

OK! You can count on us!

I think we're interrupting a Furlin-ercise class.

Those sculptures are pretty neat, huh?

Father was right...they are good with their hands! Hands? Paws? Mitts? Whatever they are.

I don't see Grace anywhere, though.

Louisa seemed so sure this is where she'd be...

Look at that pink Furlin!

Maybe that one knows something a little more than "giga giga."

Let's go find out, [Player].

Do you, er...know Grace?

*What do you think? Is that a yes?*

Uh...I don't... This one talks so fast...

Wait. You speak Furlin?

I think we're supposed to follow.

Grace! We were looking for you!

Hey, we brought something for you! It's from Louisa.

She thought it might make you feel a little better.

Wait, [Player]...? You ATE it?!

We were supposed to give that to Grace! Louisa said it would make her feel better!

You guys fight a lot, huh?

Oh, Grace, it's not so bad here. But...still, I know what you mean.

I know what it's like to feel trapped inside your home.

Being powerless to go after what you really want when you have a dream that just keeps on growing...

A poet? Me? HA! Well, thanks, but...you know, Grace, I used to be like you once.

Right, [Player]?

Oh yeah. It was terrifying! I didn't know what I was going to do! I felt like a complete failure.

[Player] happened. I was at a total loss before we met. I was just wandering aimlessly...

I knew what I wanted to do, but I just felt I wasn't getting anywhere!

But then, well...I was lucky enough to meet a good friend who helped show me what was important.

Friendship. Love. Hopes and dreams! We can show you all that in Reveria!

You can count on us!

Oh! What a mean thing to do!

HA! Uh...sorry, We didn't mean that. It was a joke... about just joking. A double joke...twice as funny...

[Player] here may not look it...

Well, a couple of worlds, at least.

Sounds good. I just wanted to check on one thing before we go, though.

Grace, I'd like to introduce you to my sister.

She should be around somewhere. I just need to find her. She has a blue Furlin with her.

That's my sister, all right!

OK, let's rendezvous with Noelia first before we go.

Origin Island: Chapter Two

Grace went up to the tower on her own, right?

Look, if you're really all that interested, we can talk about it later. Right now, we have to save Grace!

Look, do we really have time for this?

I mean, whoever I may or may not look like really isn't an issue here. We need to—

How did you know that?

Really? Yuelia?

Forget your dumb laws!

If the Goddess is connected to this Ancient Disaster, then as her daughter, I share in the responsibility.

Which means I will enter that tower. Besides, even if I wasn't a daughter of the Goddess...

Grace is my friend!

I'll do whatever I have to do. Besides, [Player] will be with me!

Right, [Player]? [Choice: Of course / Count me out]

Oh, you backstabber!

Look, [Player]...

I know choosing to say that is cute and all, but this really isn't the time for it...OK?

...Yes, Mr. Leo?

Well, it's about time you realized who you're dealing with! Wouldn't you say so, [Player]?

*Think maybe we can just get going now?*

*Guess not.* Yes? What is it, Leo?

Well, that's fine, but, I mean...don't do it because you think I'm a goddess, OK?

Don't give me that look.

*sigh* OK, fine. I'll just go with it.

As a descendent of the Goddess, I command you to, uh...take me to the tower!

Let's go get Grace!

Then...let us be off! Seriously. Let's go.

OK, [Player]. Here we go!

Sir Leo? How long have you known Grace? If you don't mind my asking.

So your relationship changed once you...assumed your roles?

You know what they say when you assume, right?

You must get invited to all the best parties...

But she still carried on? She still continued the rites?

[Player] and I are seasoned battle veterans! We're fine!

But, Sir Leo, as long as we're taking a breather here—there is something I'm curious about...

This whole Ancient Disaster legend-slash-prophecy thing...I don't really understand what it's all about.

No need to sugarcoat it. They all died, right?

Wait...so this disaster is actually a thing?! Like, a person or a monster or something?!

I thought it was a hurricane or a plague. Or locusts. Something...y'know...disastrous!

[Player], don't you find it strange?

Father didn't mention anything about any of this...

I guess that shouldn't surprise me at this point.

So, Leo, back to this legend... Everything went sour because your god left the island. I get that part.

But what does that have to do with anyone else leaving the island later on?

They make a good team, don't you think?

How did he end up in Reveria? He must have gotten separated from Grace at some point...

Oh, I never even thought about that!

That was Grace!

Let's go, [Player]!

Wait, so then Dogu...

[Player], we have to stop Dogu!

But how do we do it without hurting him?

[Player]! We have to stop Dogu somehow!

Grace, what are you... What is this?

How could you let this happen?!

Couldn't you hear her?

Grace dedicated her Life to you. She prayed to you... Why couldn't you help her just this once?

Uh...what was that?

Grace?! You're OK. That's...well, but... I'm not your daughter. You know that, right?

How did you do this?!

But...but, Mother, what are you doing here? Where is Grace?!

So...uh...how have you been?

We don't have the Crystal of Wishes anymore. I thought that was the key to communicating with you.

And then you'd..."borrow" Father?

You two really have an odd relationship, Mother.

Of course! Grace is a wonderful person, Mother!

You can do that?!

You did it, Mother!

Autosuggestion? What is that? Or is now not the right time to tell me about that?

So just snap your fingers or clap your hands or whatever you need to do!

There must be a way to free him without harm!

What do you think, [Player]? How should we handle this? [Choice: $$Dogu's time is up / $$Just calm down...]

What? Calm down?

Well...I mean, what can I say?

Complicated solutions have never been your forte!

Let's do this our way!

We'll bring an end to this without using force!

Mother! Stop it! Leo, would you mind taking...our Shrine Maiden here somewhere safe?

Come on, [Player]!

I suppose that was...gentle?

It doesn't look like these stone giants will be causing too much trouble in the future.

Noelia! You apologize right now!

You went to see Father?

Noelia, I can't believe that—

Everyone can hear you just fine, Noelia. You don't have to yell.

Father?! Is that you?

Mother? What is he talking about?

He acted on his own, didn't he? Out of his love for Mother?

But, Father, why did the seal on Dogu's memories suddenly break?

That's why he kept saying her name!

I couldn't figure out why something had changed in you. It was right in front of my face all along...

You were a Shrine Maiden? But how? I mean, doesn't a Shrine Maiden have to be human?

We're half human?!

Father...do you have anything to say for yourself?!

Are you sure...Dogu?

Why do I not think that's Dogu's voice?

Wait, so what did Father do after he sealed up Dogu's memories?

Well, maybe we don't know Dad as well as we think.

I hope that's true. I'd hate to think Dogu is just a doll without free will. I feel like he's got...soul.

Well, it looks like this case is closed, [Player]!

I'm so glad everything is OK now! It is, isn't it?

Hey, I had a feeling about...something too!

Well, we'll all be able to hang out anytime we want from now on! We're friends now, after all.

Well, now that everything's cleared up, you should all come and visit us in Reveria sometime!

Louisa, I can introduce you to someone who looks exactly like you!

HA! Yes, well, that might bring about its own Ancient Disaster.

Grace...I had a dream about you too! So that...so that really happened? Wow.

So...when we meet you in our dreams, it's not just a dream? Suddenly sleeping in sounds exciting!

[Player], I'm going to try to pull you into our dreams from now on.

Then we can all have fun together and drink all the sugared water we want!

Suit yourself, dear Sister!

Look, [Player]!

I think you'll enjoy this.

Looks like those two really hit it off, huh?

That's OK, Noelia. We can find you another furry friend, I'm sure.

Er, what's a mate?

That's great! So when do you think we'll be celebrating your anniversary in the future, Grace?

Oh, I just assumed you and Leo, at some point...

Oh. Sorry. I guess even as a human I have a habit of sticking my proboscis where it doesn't belong.

Well...I have no idea what that may mean...

but congratulations anyway, [Player]!

We'll have to make sure this isn't the last we see of one another.

Grace, we'll come back to visit soon! I know we're gonna miss you guys until then!

Oh, yes, we know. HA!

Well, off we go. Back to Reveria!

We're back, Pam!

Well, actually...there's something you should know.

There's a secret island in your storage room. We met a Shrine Maiden in there, and Dogu went crazy...

We climbed up the Goddess Tower, and everyone was there! Then the Goddess showed up, and then—

It was! And we met this lady who looks just like you! She was your...your doggledanger...

I think that's exactly the word she used.

I think they're all going to come and visit us here in Reveria soon!

OK, this is getting really weird.

Oh, that Furlin found himself a bride!

Still...poor Noelia...

Maybe we can hook you up with someone, Noelia.

Oh, is that all? Well, you got it!

Getting you to say that turned out to be a lot easier than I thought it would be!

Agreed. Like the fact that I'm really hungry right now!

The curtain has fallen on this adventure. It was a tale unlike any other... Full of new friends and excitement. And we learned so much more about the world and ourselves. We also showed a little of the wider world to people who would have never had the chance to see it otherwise. It makes me happy knowing that. Our beautiful land of Reveria really came forth from a dream my parents had. Through their dedication and hard work, they were able to bring their wishes to Life. Each day that brings us happiness in this peaceful world is a testament to the fulfillment of that dream. Dreams and wishes are such powerful things... That's what I think, anyway. Wouldn't you agree...?

Oh... [Player].

HA! You found me!

Guess I ended up here again, huh?

It's weird. Standing here doesn't seem to make me so sad anymore.

I met my mother in my dreams, after all!

And Mother said that from now on, we can meet anytime we like!

Hmm? What do you mean? I've always seemed so cheerful? Hmm? My secret?

But let's keep that a secret just between you and me.

And everyone else on Origin Island too, I guess! HA!

You up for doing some exploring? Let's go see what this world has in store for us!

What is it? You look like you're having some sort of vision! Are you OK?

Well...here I go!

Chin up! Here I come!

OK, so...where are we off to today?

Our Life is out there just ready and waiting for us! Let's go get it!

Flutter 051 The Al Maajik Goddess Statue

Perhaps we should see if we can get anything from the Goddess Statue in Al Maajik as well.

First things first, though, [Player]! Let's try out this coin!

What's up, little kitty?

Oh my! Is that a Lunares Coin you have in your paw?

That sounds like Fred, all right!

Maybe if he uses them and prays to the Goddess, he'll get some food!

If you offer one of those coins to the Goddess Statue, you can receive useful things!

But it's true! You don't believe me?!

Are you going to try praying to the statue, kitty?

Even a little kitty can get a wish granted!

Well, I'm glad you got a nice bite to eat, kitty.

You wouldn't want to give us that other coin now, would you?

Actually, that's OK. Maybe this nice lady here would like to have it.

I meant the coin. I don't think he's going to offer you any of his fish!

OK, then! Let's take it, [Player]! It would be rude not to, after all!

Thank you, little kitty!

You know, I can't shake it... I still don't quite understand that Fred guy.

Apart from the fact that he likes cats! At least we have something in common.

Flutter 052 The Elderwood Goddess Statue

The Goddess Statue of Elderwood Village!

That's a Lunares Coin! They must be talking about that Fred we met earlier...

Don't worry—that coin is worth a lot!

Oh! Great Spirit! I didn't realize you could move!

Oh no! I didn't mean it like that!

You know about them too?

They were used before Dosh? But...how?

[Player], maybe we could buy that coin...?

How much is a night's rest at the inn?

What?! Think about this, [Player]!

We can get a Lunares Coin for just 150 Dosh!

We won't get a chance like this again! Won't you please reconsider? [Choice: Actually, yes / Actually, no]

Phew! You had me worried, [Player]! I can never tell by the tone of your voice when you're joking!

Oh yeah... I guess if you don't even have 150 Dosh, that complicates things.

Well then, I'll front you the Dosh. I've been keeping my own stash on the side. You can pay me back.

Wow, that's pretty, uh...disrespectful.

Fred's turning out to be quite the mystery, isn't he, [Player]?

Flutter 053 The Origin Island Goddess Statue

Ah, Fred! Just the man we were looking for!

Did you...know that we were looking for you?

No! Well...maybe. I mean, we've actually been doing both! We visited all of the statues!

Oh, and that little kitty eventually got its food.

Are you sure there isn't something more to this? I mean, do we really deserve something for just...

The Great Spirit said that Lunares Coins are like the ancestors of Dosh.

So that's where Dosh came from...

What do you mean?

But when the kitty wished for food, it got food!

You sure know a lot about these coins, don't you?

You mean...the door to Origin Island?

Wait a second...

You're Pam's grandfather?!

But she said you were...you know...dead. Didn't she? I thought she did...

Have you seen Pam and the girls recently?

You should go visit Pam!

Well...when you put it that way, I can't really argue with you, I guess.
