Castele Artisans' District

Folks say that no matter how you feel inside, just keep a smile on your face! Yeah, right! So I should just wear a mask and pretend everything's just peachy! What's the point of putting on a front and hiding our true selves, eh?

Castele Square

We're in the belly button of Castele, you know. Smack-dab in the middle of the city! Cross the bridge to the east, and BOOM! You're in the Artisan District. Cross the bridge to the west, and BOOM! You're in the Shopping District. Or if you head north, BOOM! There's the royal castle. Yup, we're in the belly button now!
This is the epicenter of Castele—or the belly button, as I like to call it! Doesn't matter in which direction you go—north, south, east, or west. It's always an adventure!

South Castele

Ahoy there, young sprout! Oops! Just got a better look at ya, and ya weren't the sprout I thought ya were... No matter. You're still a sprout to me! Go on and keep up with the sproutin'!
You know, you look just like my son's kid! Hmm... Actually, I take that back. Now that I get a closer look at you, you look more like my son's SON'S kid! Ha ha ha!

Port Puerto Marina

You ever seen one of them airships? No idea how somethin' that big manages to get off the ground!
This airship looks like a giant balloon! Wonder what unlucky fool had to blow that thing up?

Listen carefully, because I will only say this once! There's a weapon type you can use regardless of which Life you chose. Daggers! They're good for anything! Fighting, opening letters, slicing bread! Now, I'll say that again so you remember! Daggers are good for anything! Got it?

What's really important in Life, eh? I've been alive for a while now, and what I've found is this: a person needs just enough Bliss to be happy and just enough Dosh to keep their stomach full! Everything else is just for show. You have a good evening.

Al Maajik Library of Magic

WHAT?! This here book says it was the Dark Sultan who created the world! Apparently, the world was a veritable paradise for magic users. Normies were sectioned off. But then a foolish hero rose up to challenge the Dark Sultan! Rather than fight, the Dark Sultan thought it best to make him an ally. So he made the hero an offer... The sultan would offer the hero half the world as a partially sovereign land for him to rule. It says the hero willingly agreed to this. Apparently he even said please! The hero's descendants developed the land into what would become present-day Castele. That is why Castele technically belongs to Al Maajik and the Dark Sultan. ...At least, that's what it says here in this book. Oh, great. It looks like the author is unknown!
