The Fledgling Tailor Sew Some Devotion!

Hi! Nice to meet you, [Name 1].

We were SO stoked to get the curtain job from the castle. I mean, it's every Tailor's dream!

But that's a big castle, and a big castle needs a LOT of curtains. It's all we do, night and day!

If things keep going like this, we'll have to start turning down orders from our regular customers.

I'd like you to make a [Name 3]!

Our plan was to turn down all nonessential requests—just uniforms, if needed.

But Madam Purl's a clever one. She figured out how we can do ALL the jobs.

She told us to call on her students for help!

You're a real sport for helping us out, [Name 1].

So we're agreed? We'll let

Yeah, that stuff's not easy to find. Maybe you can ask one of the shopkeepers for help.

Hey, you two! Long time no see!

Nope! I was already in this neck of the woods, so I thought I'd swing by here and wait.

Hey, you've got something fluffy under your arm... Is that what I think it is?!

Our business is saved! Thank you, [Name 1]!

I was totally freaking out about whether we'd get this order in on time...

And here come the two of you, saving my hide. How can I ever thank you?

I'll zip over there right now. But before I go, you've gotta take this!

I owe you both big time!

You a new Tailor student? It's totally obvious. By the way, the workshop is over in the Artisan District.

Don't let me down, [Player]. You've got to make that Fluffy-Ribbon Top or I'm toast!

Sweet! Our customer is going to be stoked. I totally owe you one, [Player].

Zippy

What's up, fashionista? I totally adore the outfit you're wearing right now! You have GOT to tell me where you got that— Oh! Sorry. I'm supposed to say, "Welcome to the Castele Fashion Boutique!"

You know who cracks me up? Taylor. That girl is totally craaaaaazy.

What's up, [Player]? Nice to see you again! Hey, thanks again for helping me out before. Because of you, I've still got a stellar reputation! And I hope I can count on you to be a loyal customer here at the boutique, right? Riiiiiiight?

Sorry...I'm busy right now. Can you come back later?

They say it takes Dosh to make Dosh, right? That is SO true in the tailoring biz! Materials and tools are ex-PEN-sive! But there are lots of ways to earn Dosh in this Life. You can gather materials and sell them... Or you can use them to make cloth, and then sell THAT... Or you can use them to make clothes, and then you can sell the clothes! You'll be rolling in the Dosh before you even know it. Now, THAT'S good business sense.

The smartest Tailors are the ones who gather their own materials out in the field. It's just crazy to spend your hard-earned Dosh on materials you can get for free, you know?

What's up, [Player]? Glad to see you today. I've got a gift for you! Yeah, I went out on a little material-gathering expedition and came back fully stocked! As a matter of fact, I managed to bring home a little extra for you and Taylor. No need to pay me for it. Your Dosh is no good here! Hee hee! Think of it as a token of my appreciation. Just promise me you'll make something nice with it!

My ears are positively burning. I think that means someone is talking about me... Man! I bet it's Taylor. She's always gossiping about me behind my back. I sure hope you would let me know if she said anything bad about me, [Player]!

She WAS talking about me! I knew it! Don't worry—I'm not really going to force you to tell me what she said. But that girl is sneaky! You should watch your back, [Player].

Ooooh! I am FURIOUS with Taylor. That girl is the biggest blabbermouth in all of Reveria! She's been going around telling anyone who'll listen to her that I've got a crush on Chic! Not that Chic is a bad guy or anything! I mean, he's really a fantastic person and very talented... But I'm just worried that this is going to affect our professional relationship! I want him to see me as a qualified businesswoman, not some lovesick puppy. Honestly! I'm going to have to teach that Taylor a lesson...

Gosh, you're always out there working your tail off, [Player]. It's very inspiring! It's, like, you totally know the tailoring Life is the Life for you. It's your calling! Just like it's MY calling to provide the people of Castele with fun, flashy, fashionable clothes!

You know what would be SO cool? If you and Taylor and Chic started your own clothing line. Then I could open a shop that sells your clothes! Imagine me, coordinating outfits for Castele's elite! It's funny... I've never told Taylor or Chic that before, because I was afraid they might tease me... but apparently I can tell YOU all my secrets! It must be because you're such a good listener.

Nice timing, [Player]! I was just about to get rid of this pattern, but I'll just give it to you instead! See, I was going to make a present for Chic, but I had NO idea what to make. Then I was like, sharks are cool, right? Totally! So I bought a pattern for a Shark Hat. But Taylor told me it was a ridiculous gift. I don't know. I thought it was kinda awesome.

Seriously, what's wrong with a Shark Hat? I always thought sharks were kinda cool.

I thought everyone loved sharks. I mean, they're so cute and cuddly and...predatory! *sigh* Chic would have looked SO stylish in a Shark Hat, don't you think? But Taylor put the kibosh on that. I wonder what she has against sharks?

Hey, congrats on ranking up to Master! I think Taylor is a bit in awe of you now. You're, like, her idol! Oh! Before I forget, let me give you this... I suppose I should try to dress a little fancier, huh? Not that I'm trying to get anyone to notice me!

Ugh. What do I care if someone special notices me? I never used to care about things like that!

Hey there! You're always up on the latest fashion trends, right? Well, listen to this! Everyone knows you need Pink Silk to make an Earth Robe or a Wind Robe. But Pink Silk is crazy expensive! Who can afford to drop all that Dosh in a shop? Well, there's a better way to get it! Just make it yourself from Pink-Silk Thread. All you have to do is ambush one of the spiders that produces Pink-Silk Thread, and you're golden!

Those spiders I was talking about are called Arachnes. According to legend, the spiders used to be beautiful seamstresses. But they were cursed! Now they live in the Subterranean Lake making beautiful silk but never seeing the light of day.

Hey, you! Congrats on making Legendary Tailor. I'm happy for you, but I'm even happier for ME! Because now I can tell everyone that a Legendary Tailor was here! That'll double our business! By the way, you're probably wondering why I have such a sneaky smile on my face... But I can't tell you! Not yet, anyway. Let's just say I've got something special in the works—and it's all thanks to you and Taylor!

Taylor's been kind of quiet lately. I wonder if she's bummed out about her parental situation... The next time she gets down, let's take her to Alfredo's and stuff our faces with pasta!

Taylor's been hounding me to start a clothing line with you and her. Gosh, can you just imagine? But honestly, I'd rather just run the shop. You two can make the clothes! Well, you and Taylor and Chic, of course... I mean—never mind! Don't tell Chic I was talking about him or anything. *sigh*

Taylor was talking about you earlier. Yeah, no one is safe from that little gossip! Anyway, she said you've been awfully quiet lately. That maybe you were hiding something! So...have you got a crush on someone? It's OK— you can tell me! I won't tell anyone!

Rumor has it you're looking to rank up to Creator. But that's crazy! I've never even HEARD of that rank before! So is this some kind of joke? 'Cause you shouldn't joke about things like ranks. Not cool, man.

I have to admit it—I totally thought you were pulling my leg about the whole Creator-rank thing. Cut me some slack, OK? It's a pretty unbelievable story when you think about it! But here you are, a Creator-ranked Tailor. And I am SO proud of you! We all are—me and Taylor and Chic. Don't forget about us now that you're all high and mighty!

Yup, you're a Creator-ranked Tailor now... That doesn't leave a lot of room for improvement! But seriously, I'm getting kind of tired of all this shoptalk. I want to chat about something else! Come back when you've got something interesting to say about your love Life, OK?
