Castele Guild Office
Do you want me to explain about the Life system and the different licenses again? [Choice: Yes, please / No, thanks]
All right, listen up, buddy! The first thing to know about the Life system and different licenses is...
...And that's about it! It's a pretty neat system, if you ask me! Just shout if you need any more help.
Oh, really? Heh. Looks like you're quite the speedy learner, eh, buddy? Have fun, then!
Oh, did you want to change your Life? Aren't you playing with someone else right now? I'm terribly sorry, but I'm afraid you can't change your Life while doing that. Please come back once you and your friend are finished. I'll be glad to help you then!
Oh, did you want to change your Life? Ah, but I can tell you've only just taken up the [Player] Life. You can't change just yet! Please come back once you have reached at least Fledgling rank. I'll be glad to help you then!
Welcome to the Guild Office! Have you come to change your Life?
Welcome to the Guild Office! You look like you've been working hard! Here to change your Life?
So...would you like to change your Life?
Well, to keep it brief, you should basically just take up whatever Life you think would suit you the best. If you change your mind and think a Life isn't quite for you, that's fine. Your efforts won't be wasted. You can work hard at one Life or try a bunch. Or you can take it easy. It's completely up to you!
There was something else I was going to explain... Ah, yes! Life Bonuses and skills are pretty important things to know about! Life Bonuses are...quite self-explanatory really! They're Stat bonuses you get for living a particular Life. For example, if you were a Paladin, you could expect to receive a large boost to your maximum HP. What's more, Life Bonuses increase along with your rank, so you'd do well to train hard!
The skills you learn are mostly determined by which Life you're in. So a Paladin would learn to use the Longsword and Shield skills. Of course, once you learn a skill, you can use it in any Life, but it'll level up faster in the relevant one.
Congratulations, [Name 1]! Welcome to the [Player] Life! I'm sure you already know this, but your first port of call should be your new Master. I've already marked the location on your map just in case you're not sure where to go. Now off with you! Best of luck!
Looks like you're turning into a fine young [Player], aren't you! Keep up the good work!
There! Coolest [Player] ever! You're an inspiration to us all, buddy. It's an honor to be your Guild Master!
Well, if you feel like changing your Life, you know where to come!
Prologue: Welcome to Reveria!
Well,
Here's your Novice License. Don't lose it. I don't want to have to do all the paperwork again.
Since you're here, read this. It explains everything you need to know about these licenses.
Pay close attention now. Repeating things makes my sciatica flare up.
That license there will get you started,
Come and see me if you got any other questions.
You know the way to the castle, don't you? When you leave here, just head north.
Sounds like trouble outside in the square. Yeah, that's about the way of it these days...
Y'know,
Flutter 001 What's a...Guild Office?
Hey there, [Player]! Everything set with your Life?
Since you're here, let me give you the full tour. We provide many services you may find useful later on.
Y'see, as you develop your Life, you'll— Whoa! Don't move... Looks like we got a pest problem here.
I've got a bug swatter here. One second...
Why would I swat you?! I'm gonna swat that bug— Wait—was that you who said that, [Player]?
Whoa! So you are! Hm...
A talking butterfly? That's a first. Not much surprises me these days, but this is one for the books. Your voice sounds kinda familiar, though...
You're the one who was makin' that ruckus, eh?
Well, I don't know a ruckus-makin' ruffian from a rucksack of truffle muffins, but I'm glad you're OK.
So we have [Player] here to thank for the fact that you weren't turned into a brooch, eh?
Anyway, back to the tour. You might find this interesting too, Butterfly.
If you ever want to try out a different Life, just come and talk to me. Variety is the spice of Life, y'know!
Over there is the Bounty Clerk.
And if you ever reel in a fish Bounty, you can talk to Lionel Lippes on the desk here. He'll make you a nice trophy you can mount on your wall. He does nice work...for a singing plant.
In the back there are the communications counters. I call 'em our "Comm Couns," but nobody else does.
On the left there, you can get yourself all registered for StreetPass. Highly recommended.
On the right, you can try out the Multiplayer mode with other players. Highly recommended.
And at the middle counter, you can get info on new features. I'm afraid that's not quite ready, though.
Once we're set up there, you'll be able to use Ally Mode, Snapshots, and online Multiplayer.
All of which are, of course...highly recommended. If you need any more info, just ask at the counters.
Hmm. A Life for a butterfly? Let me see...
Have you ever considered becoming something like a Sugared Water Connoisseur?
No.
I couldn't be a butterfly any more than you could be a Woodcutter! Life is just unfair like that...
Anyway, [Player]. See if you can make some good use of us here at the Guild Office.
Now, I can't find that swatter, but maybe I can give you something else...
Here we go! The best pesticide around!
Give it a try when you feel the need!
...I'm not gonna argue with a butterfly.
That stuff right there'll make short work of any bees or sassy insects you run into on the Grassy Plains.
That should be it, unless you got any questions...
Oh yeah. If you open up your map, you can return here anytime. That should come in handy.
Best of luck in your new Life! Make the most of it!
