Field talk (175 lines)

Prologue: Welcome to Reveria!

Oh, Erik! Honestly? Can't you just pretend to be even the slightest bit interested?

Congratulations on starting your Life, [Player].

Your hard work in your new Life will be a great benefit and an inspiration to those closest to you.

Please remember that what you do for yourself, you also do for all of Reveria.

Gone. She's gone, darling. Princess Laura left quite a while ago.

Very impressive, darling. Thank you.

Tee hee. Oh, Erik really can be quite a card.

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Two

Oh dear... It's all just such a needless fuss!

Oh my! I'm sorry. Please forgive me—I didn't realize you were standing...and flapping there.

I trust that your new Life is working out well, yes?

How may I help you, dear ones?

Of course. I shouldn't be too surprised.

I suppose the guards my husband placed at Princess Laura's door gave you some trouble.

Well, I would never *wink* go against my husband's wishes *wink*, but Laura may need a *wink* snack.

As you can see, I'm terribly busy right now. Perhaps you could take something to her.

She may not accept it from me. But perhaps if you gave her a freshly baked Apple Pie...

Rosemary? Oh, Rosemary! If you could...

Do be a dear and fetch me that special item we were discussing earlier.

Feel free to play Royal Pie Eater and have a nibble. My Castelian Apple Pies are divine!

But please go now. While it's still hot!

Please don't mind me. This is where I come when I need to think. Life goes by so quickly, you know...?

Please see that Laura gets her Apple Pie while it's still hot and aromatic.

Hughes says the princess is just going through a rebellious phase. But I still worry about her.

Did you find what you were looking for? Tee hee. It's always the same old hiding place...

Have you seen the princess or my husband? Perhaps they went off on an adventure like in the old days. That would be lovely.

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Three

Ah, the warm seas of Port Puerto. Lunares reflected in the rippling waves... It was so dreamy, so romantic, that Erik and I clasped each other's hands and then...*giggle* Well, that's a secret.

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Four

Oh, this is such splendid news!

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Five

Laura, let us get down to business. You can play the petulant princess later, if you must.

I know where The Great Spirit resides.

First of all, you never asked me. But I can tell you how to reach Danuta, The Great Spirit.

I don't know if I should say.

That place is considered out of bounds for humans. It is a forbidden forest.

That is how they desire it. That is how they have always desired it to be since time immemorial.

I must think about it first.

[Player], a moment before you go.

I am no more troubled than I should be to hear of a Doomstone landing in the Elderwood.

The Elderwood is...a special place. It forms a border between the human world and the spirit world.

Most humans are barred from entering certain parts of the Elderwood.

It is a mysterious realm of creatures and spirits that can be very...befuddling to one with a closed mind.

I doubt it. Erik is very fond of you. He wouldn't want anything to happen to the two of you.

But what exists in some parts of the Elderwood can be very difficult to explain.

If anyone can find the treasure bestowed upon the spirits there, I believe it is you two.

I cannot be certain...but I have a feeling that, yes, that is the case.

The deepest part, ruled by Danuta, is considered to be the fourth kingdom of legend, yes.

Danuta is The Great Spirit. If Danuta is guarding the treasure, no ordinary person will ever see it.

It is impossible to even reach an audience with Danuta without the blessing of the spirits.

I have something to ask of you.

When you meet the children of the forest, please give them this letter. It is very important to me.

You'll know them when you see them.

I can only hope this letter will serve our purpose.

The forest is a beautiful place, but it has a way of swallowing up certain individuals forever.

The forest has its own Life within it. If you should become lost, let the Spirit Tree guide you.

It is an ancient tree within the heart of the forest...

Find the sacred place deep within the forest, and take a right. You can't miss it.

I believe you will find any help you seek beneath its leafy branches.

Please, do be careful. The Deep Elderwood is an especially unforgiving place.

I ask you to protect Laura with your own Life.

I can read my daughter like a book. There would be no way to hold her back from this adventure.

In fact, I bet you are keeping her waiting right now. Is that correct?

I do my best. Farewell. May the spirits protect you.

I'm glad to see you are well, Great Danuta. It seems you have grown more leaves since last I saw you.

She can indeed be quite a reflection of myself. It is one of her saving graces. Hee hee.

The last time I was here, I was indeed a child.

Hee hee! Yes, very funny, Great Danuta. I'm glad to see you have not lost your sense of humor.

It is the power of the Spirit Tree.

And the Great Danuta has protected the tree, allowing the Goddess Ship to be safely preserved.

I love the view from up here. You can see Reveria in all its splendor.

Oh, how I wish Erik could be here to see this...

Oh, your father knows. Although he was vehemently opposed to my going. Vehemently.

You know how stubborn he can get. I had no choice but to use the strongest weapon in my arsenal.

Your father has always had a soft spot for apple pie.

After that, he was much more open to reason.

Dearest, I'm starting to remember why I married you.

The tea is a nice touch.

In the Elderwood, there are...many dangers.

Please...just be careful, and watch out for my Laura.

I wonder if my husband is all right at the castle.

Both Laura and my husband are very pleased. Please accept our gratitude.

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Six

We need you here, Princess Laura. We have distinguished guests from all over Reveria...

It would be unthinkable for the Castele princess to leave the castle at a time such as this.

I speak the obvious when I say that every vessel needs a pilot.

Dear Erik, while we all know you would be well suited for such a task, we must defer here.

I really love your dress, Olivia!

Perhaps...but at times, I do miss the days of donning my suit of armor and taking up a sword.

Yes. I was about your age then. Good times. Don't let the costume rule you, Olivia.

Don't push yourselves too hard.

I'm relieved that you managed to return unharmed. But it's not the end yet, is it?

Tale of Lunares: Final Chapter

Everyone needs to calm down. They are safe and sound...and here. That is what is important.

Hm. I think I understand how Yuelia must be feeling...

Take care. I look forward to our next meeting.

Flutter 012 Dinky Dad

Wrong, dear. You're trying to say you were wrong.

And I'm glad you've come to this decision. It shows maturity on your part as a leader. It's very becoming.

And we should never forget that when you were her age, you were constantly exploring the kingdom!

How is this different?

I take back what I said about you showing maturity.

I seem to remember you were attacked time after time by bandits and monsters alike.

And I also seem to remember it was I who often saved you!

You were so consumed with disguises and maps, you were constantly getting into trouble.

I'm the one who led the search party to the top of Mount Snowpeak when you never came back.

And I'm the one who scared away the Gingery you couldn't get past in the Elderwood.

And when you ran straight into a pack of Coyotes, I was the one who rescued you!

And what if I hadn't been there that time you tried to use that Love Bomb on the sleeping Plains Bear?

I shudder to think what would have happened then!

That is a very good idea, Erik.

I think you can stop worrying a bit. I don't want you getting an ulcer over this.

Besides, Laura's new friends have proven to be quite the good-luck charm!

Thank you for all you've done. And please watch over Laura next time you go adventuring together.

Flutter 031 Emotions Running High

You two are already back at it? I thought you might take a moment or two to rest!

Yes, I've been lucky enough to have made friends with some extremely exceptional individuals.

It was quite lovely to see The Great Spirit. It has been such a long time...

That is true. I have spent much of my years growing up thinking upon and missing the forest.

I designed this courtyard so I could feel at least a bit of nature here inside the castle.

I also sometimes decorate my walls and floor with these sorts of designs...

I hope you'll make good use of them.

Well, there was the risk the village would have been discovered by others.

Naturally, Erik would worry about me, so I would have to take attendants along.

And you saw how Pierre and Butch bumbled their way into the village even just this one time I visited.

Well, while it is true that we live in a world of peace-loving citizens,

everybody has different ways of thinking...some of which could be dangerous to the forest spirits.

At least Pierre and Butch are harmless. See, long ago, the Elderwood was infested by dark magic.

If it hadn't been for The Great Spirit protecting the forest, who knows what would have happened.

We would probably have a North Grassy Plains now where the forest once stood.

No. I often wonder if perhaps I simply worry too much about these things.

I thought it was too early for humans and spirits to be reunited. It turns out I was wrong.

When I saw you two, Laura, Pino, and Leilah...I knew if it were to ever happen, the time is now.

You all managed to build a wonderful friendship, regardless of who or what you were.

You make it sound so simple, Yuelia. I hope all beings will be able to see through your lens.

I will do everything I can to make that hope a reality. For it's true—it is, in fact, simple.

Do you really think so?

You have a most wonderful perspective, Yuelia. Our world is better for having you in it.

Indeed, I think you may be right. Thank you for helping me believe again in what is truly important.

Flutter 040 Teatime with Royalty

Oh, really? You didn't seem to think my apple pie was so troublesome.

I must apologize. Our indubitable champion here has been getting rather forgetful of late.

I think you'll find that's pretty much the same thing...

Oh, Gladstone, don't make them feel bad about it...

Well, that sounds like the opening to another cosmic adventure! I would love to come along with you.

Well, I'd feel left out if it were just Laura and Erik who were always sneaking around with you two.

Besides, being cooped up in the castle all the time only dulls my skills. There's more to Life than pie.

Well, that's a relief, isn't it?

Now it's safe enough for me to do your washing and cleaning here at the house. Is that it?

Be well, Gladstone.

Well...that's a little better. Not much, but it's very sweet, so I'll accept that as your apology.

Anyway, [Player]... Do come and talk to me if you'd ever like me to join your party!

You can usually find me in the castle's Inner Garden or in my chambers.

Flutter 042 Castele's Kid King

Welcome back, both of you.

*ACHOO! TWENTY-TWO!*

My dear, you're the king. You can do whatever you want. You realize that, don't you?

I don't think anyone here would mind if you... changed your clothes a little more often.

We're looking forward to seeing you again.

Ophelia

Hello. Don't mind me. I'm waiting on a package.

You look like you are rather enjoying your Life here in Castele. I hope all our residents are so full of joy!

I do hope you and Laura will become good friends. She is a good girl, but she has much to learn.

I hear Erik turned up at the last moment? *sigh* That's my husband. He has a flair for the dramatic.

I had the pleasure of meeting Elise on several occasions. She was both brave and beautiful.

When he was young, Erik often made visits to Port Puerto. He and Ahab seemed to get on very well.

Someday I would love to fill this courtyard with trees, like a little forest.

I was shocked when Erik returned from Al Maajik looking like a child. But...it's cute, don't you think?

Perhaps I should have the courtyard spruced up a little before the Reveria Summit begins...

I was so glad to see The Great Spirit is still well. She seemed even more magnificent than ever.

I wonder if there are any unusual plants growing up on Terra Nimbus...

I'm sure you'll be fine up there. Do tell me all about it when you get back!

I am sure everyone in Reveria looked up at that same sky with fear, and then with joy. Thank you.

I hear Erik has "offered" to accompany you on your adventures? He can be a bit pushy at times.

Hello again! It is wonderful to see you.

Hello again! It is wonderful to see you.

Laura is a bit jealous that you discovered Origin Island. I know she would love to talk to you.

After all you've done, I was sure you would unravel the mystery of Origin Island. Congratulations.

The king had the pleasure of a visit from Leo just recently. He told us the most wonderful stories!

Young Grace came to visit us just recently. She told us all about the hot springs! It sounds wonderful.

Origin Island: Chapter One

That's a very...unique doll you have there.
