Field talk (101 lines)

Prologue: Welcome to Reveria!

Please keep your voice down...butterfly.
I see you two know each other...?
I can assure you that I am no "meanie."
I'm sorry, but we just do not allow insects at the Royal Court. It simply isn't done.
The king is a very busy man. I'm sorry, but I must ask you to leave now.
Welcome to Castele Castle. The king is currently receiving an audience in the Royal Court. His Majesty is most gracious to his subjects, but please be quiet as a mark of respect.
His Majesty, King Erik, is present in the Royal Court and permits entry to all who desire his counsel. With the exception of riffraff, monsters, and bugs. He hates bugs.

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Two

Oh. You again.
Excuse me?! I am not your "pal," you little...fluttering, buttering fly!
I already told you that insects are not allowed at the Royal Court. If I must tell you again, I will be forced—
Your...help? So you've been requested personally? Are you certain of that?
What?! No! It means nothing. You mean nothing, you little scheming butterfly.
No no no no! Why, that's...not true in the least. I would never think of doing such a thing.
B-by all means. The castle is open to all subjects, after all. And please remember that I said so.
Well, I hope you found what you were looking for.
Yes, that is...quite something.
It seems you have indeed touched a nerve here in the castle.
Might I ask if you have met anyone of note on your travels recently?
Perhaps a youth? A young boy wearing a blue cap?
Just as I thought...
No. That's not what I thought.
...
Perhaps you can help me with something, Paladin. I am in need of someone with your unique...abilities.
It is something that has perplexed me for a long time. It is also a closely guarded secret of the kingdom.
Come a bit closer. The walls have ears.
Yes, I knew I could count on you. Now picture in your mind an apple. You want to help this apple.
Two worms block two paths, one to the left and one to the right. These paths lead to the apple.
So if one path is right and one path is left...how many apples do you have?
Why, yes, of course, it would be my pleasure. I'll reword it to help you out. Take your time.
Two worms block two paths. These worms are trying to guard the paths leading to the apple.
One path is right. And the other path is not...right. In fact, it's left.
How long would it take to sneak by the worms and be on your way to helping the apple?
Why, yes, we are. Come closer, Paladin. I am in need of your services in this very secretive manner.
Never mind that! The right corridor, as in the correct corridor on the right, will be just fine for now.
I have a disorder that forces me to perspire excessively. I'll thank you not to draw attention to it.
Move, quickly! I don't know how much longer this nonsense will keep them confused.
The king just came charging down the corridor and out of the castle gate. He was yelling for his guardsmen...

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Three

The royals of Port Puerto and Castele have common ancestors. That's why they never talk to each other.

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Four

Your diplomatic strengths have not gone unnoticed. We may have further use of you in this time of peril...
To get to Al Maajik, head west through the Grassy Plains until Port Puerto. Then head south. If you follow the path, you'll see a ravine. You'll find Al Maajik on the other side of that rugged terrain.
Could it be? Castele and Al Maajik united at last? You two never cease to amaze!

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Five

The Elderwood is just north of the Grassy Plains. Please take great care.
Everyone left. I'm all on my own now.

Tale of Lunares: Chapter Six

Silence is understood approval.
Well, I think there is an obvious choice, sire.
An island in the sky?! I just don't know if I can believe it without seeing it.
That was a herculean task, no less.

The Fledgling Woodcutter Legendary Lumber, Jack!

Please, there's got to be a way!
But...you're our only hope. And the Carpenters assure me there is no substitute.
Alas, we have not found a single merchant with any in stock.
Yes, of course. That's precisely why we've turned to you!
You're known as the finest Woodcutter in Reveria. Surely YOU can track down a single Elder Log!
Please, Mr. Forrest, on behalf of Castele Castle, I beg you!
Hello, [Player]. Hello, Monika.
I don't suppose you two happen to have a spare Elder Log on hand, hmm? Ha ha! Joking, of course.
What?! It can't be!
Oh my goodness! Are you serious? I can't thank you enough!
Now we can finally complete the wardrobe the royal family deserves. Queen Ophelia will be thrilled!
So, do tell. Which mighty Woodcutter procured this fine specimen for you? Heyho, perhaps?
That's unbelievable. You mean to tell me a beginner managed to find an Elder Log?
Well, seeing is believing. Fantastic work! I really owe you one. Maybe even two!
Again, thank you. I am in your debt.
Please accept this as a humble token of my gratitude.
I'm sorry, but I'm not really in the mood for small talk.
If I can't manage to obtain an Elder Log...well, I don't even want to think about it.
I can't thank you enough! And I'm sure the royal family will be equally grateful.

Flutter 016 The Wild Blue Yonder!

This blimp service provides fast travel between Castele and Port Puerto.
With all of the work you've put in, I thought you might enjoy a little convenience in your Life.
Well, I must admit that at first I was completely opposed to making you two envoys of Castele.
But the princess insisted. She can be rather...direct at times.
I ask your forgiveness for my error in judgment. Use this service freely as a token of my thanks.
I got you on. I didn't say I'd pay for you.
There are no free rides in Castele, Butterfly. That's not the type of Life example we wish to set.
Enjoy the ride. And give the whole not-talking thing a chance. You just might find silence suits you.
Do mention this gesture to the princess.
But don't mention the part about me not getting you a free ride.
But do mention that I gave you this!
So that's two things to mention and one to not. Thank you.

Flutter 039 Crashing the Castle

Even in your human form, you still have quite a shine.
It even feels like the awful pain I've been feeling in my joints has been cured!
Quite the sublime vision, Your Highness!

Minister

Have you guessed the etymology of our kingdom's noble name of Castele? I'll give you a hint... It's named after a big, magnificent building in Castele. Don't overthink this one!
When I was young, my father would tell many a tale of ancient Castele... He loved the good ol' days.
Doomstones need to stop falling on us. It's so rude.
We considered several countermeasures for dealing with the Doomstones. In the end, we realized crossing our fingers and hoping was the best we could do.
The Napdragon was entrusted with guarding an ancient treasure... That goddess must be quite brave!
I always get sleepy around this time. Perhaps I could be the Minister of Sleepytime.
I remember visiting Port Puerto years ago. Pirates and aristocrats were always fighting back then.
Yes, the marriage of Lord Ahab and Lady Elise was front-page news. It was the start of something big.
Have you taken a ride on the airship yet? You can catch a flight to Al Maajik now, apparently!
Travel by airship is just so swift... A shame there is not more time to enjoy the view.
Preparations for the Reveria Summit will fall to me as Minister. I strive to provide the best to our guests.
I wonder if the Elderwood folk can eat human food such as that we serve in Castele... I hope so.
The king is as magnificent as ever. Only he could have pulled off hosting the Reveria Summit.
[Player], the responsibility is immense, but you must not falter. You have granted the wishes of many... You alone can bridge the gap between Reveria and Lunares.
My friend, you have gone from king's hand to savior of the world. You may have the makings of a minister! Perhaps you should consider becoming one.
Soon I shall need to name my successor, and I can think of no one better than you, [Player]!
So King Erik has set you another challenge. To find a legendary lost land, no less. I may have to postpone my retirement until you are ready to succeed me!
So King Erik has set you another challenge. To find a legendary lost land, no less. I may have to postpone my retirement until you are ready to succeed me!
Don't tell me! Let me guess! Hmm...so... You found the legendary lost land...and then... you were called upon to save its denizens from some peril or other! ...Or something like that!
A few days ago, some soldiers from Origin Island came to pay their respects to the king. Since then, King Erik has been most excited over their customs and culture.
