Lucky Pickaxe, part 7

Miner Life. Quest: Lucky Pickaxe

MeraldaWelcome back, you two! I can tell by those grins that you found just what you were looking for!

BerylThat we did. In fact... We got you a birthday present!

MeraldaA Fortuna Topaz? For me...?

MeraldaHeh... Heh heh...! Funny thing is, I was going to give you the same present!

BerylHuh? For me...?

MeraldaYou're so quick to call yourself unlucky. So I figured giving you some Fortuna Topaz would help change that.

MeraldaI thought if you felt lucky, you could be more confident in yourself. I believe you can be a great Miner, and I want you to believe it, too.

BerylThanks, sis! But you know what? I think I'm already lucky enough.

BerylAfter all, I was blessed with Player, the best mining partner a guy could ask for!

MeraldaThat's right! And I'm lucky to have such wonderful apprentices. There's no doubt about it...

Meralda & Beryl...Lady Luck smiles upon us!

MeraldaAll right! Why don't we take a look at your progress, Player?

MeraldaCongrats! You've earned the rank of Fledgling Miner.

MeraldaOne more thing: Auntie Anne said she has something to tell you. Make sure to pay her a visit when you can.

MeraldaCome back and see me if you unearth any new gems, all right? And remember: good luck, good fortune, and guts!
