Crafting

Team craft power

When others help at the workbench, their craft power is added at a discount. The game sorts the participants' craft power and counts only the top three:

team power = 1st + 2nd × 0.5 + 3rd × 0.25

All five difficulty levels use these same two factors. A fourth helper adds nothing. The sort direction was not checked in the code; the calculator assumes highest first.

Difficulty levels

The crafting minigame has five difficulty settings. The work's HP is set from the first two rows:

work HP = (process count − miss count) × k

k is a number held by the minigame, probably the number of items being crafted; that was not confirmed. The four result thresholds start at the process count and step down, and very likely decide the quality of the result, but the code that reads them was not traced.

Each step of a process adds its action's time to the timer. Every difficulty grades an input as Good, Great or Excellent with the factors 0.8, 1 and 1.1; their timing values are 0, 0.6 and 0.7. How those grades become the finished item's quality is unknown, as are the bonus rates the game applies when crafting several items at once.

Crafting Lives

The same rules apply to all 6 crafting Lives. Each Life's recipe list shows the craft power each recipe asks for.
