Talk to Rem in the capital, part 6

Chapter 5: The Artist's Treasure Hunt. Quest: Talk to Rem in the capital

RemOh, Player! You're back!

TripOh...? You're looking fancy today, Growler. What's with the new collar?

RemIsn't it great? I had Professor Chemmel make it with the Eternia Ore we got on our adventure.

RemIt's a symbol of our friendship. Right, Little G?

RemSo, what's our next adventure going to be?

RemYou need to repair a statue? Oh! Perhaps we could try asking Paulette?

RemPaulette is a Master Artist and creative genius. Painting, sculpting, you name it—she does it all!

RemPaulette lives in the Tropica Isles. I'd be more than happy to show you the way.

RanoahSo, she wants to go on another adventure. I should have guessed.

AeshanAh, but Your Majesty, is it really such a terrible thing?

AeshanLady Rem has shown considerable growth through these little escapades. Perhaps we should trust her—while keeping a watchful eye.

RemAeshan, I... Thank you. I never expected you to come to my defense.

RemI was wrong to think of you as an evil warlord. I hope you will forgive me.

AeshanHah. An evil warlord. Such precious imagination.

RanoahIf Aeshan is that confident, then I suppose... All right. Rem, you may go.

RemReally?! Yes-yes-yes! ...I'll go get my things!

AeshanThen it is settled. I'll take my leave, Your Majesty.

TripNow's our chance to ask Ranoah about the Cog!

RanoahThe Cog of Time, at the bottom of a giant hole? What nonsense.

TripWait, you already knew about the Cog of Time?

RanoahOf course. It is part of our people's mythology.

RanoahIt was built by our heavenly creators and carries the very essence of time.

RanoahThere is a saying that has been passed down for generations. "As the Cog turns, so too does time pass in Reveria."

TripWow! I wonder why it's down there, then.

RanoahI told you, the Cog could not possibly be in some giant hole. It is concealed within time itself, beyond the reach of human hands.

RanoahBesides, these "Depths" supposedly extend beneath the capital, yes? But we have no underground structures here, I promise you that.

RemPlayer, Trip! Are you coming?

RanoahWe can discuss this later. Go on, Rem is waiting for you.
