Some people have seen this and panicked, thinking it was hastily made in less than a week as exclusive compensation for digital deluxe purchasers in Hong Kong. I'll be straight up honest with you here. I don't agree. We've got unique 2D key artwork looking perfect, polished, and ready to go. And the mount itself will be distributed soon to Hong Kong players. It's not something that's coming next year. They said it's coming soon. So, everything is developed and bug tested and ready to be added. And this game has global crossplay, which

So, in my opinion, the unicorn is not going to remain exclusive to Hong Kong because it was never meant to release so soon or exclusively in the first place. Level 5 has to bring out a small piece of future content to compensate players with here. And something like this was the best choice because delaying the game's release was out of their hands. It's just a very basic piece of content to release, something reskinned from the initial camel mount. So, it's cool, but not unique enough to provide a different play experience. Level 5 claims that the digital store settings were incorrect,

2:04So digital deluxe versions of the game launched too late. Bubble 5 states they plan to send out digital redemption codes for the Mount Plus item pack in the middle of June. It's June now. You guys realize that? I barely realized it's June now. They need to already be submitting this DLC for approval. We'll see the full mount in 3D very soon. I think some people in their minds are imagining Level 5 scrambling to get this thing cooked for the release when that's not how it could be. They need to have it already done to release the unicorn so soon. They need to get those download codes from Nintendo themselves, and that takes time. That's why they can't give a specific date for that middle of June.

2:45If the unicorn is anything strange, I'd assume it's a future premium transaction of some sort. But I don't know. This is being given to purchasers of the digital deluxe edition after all. Something which already comes with an exclusive premium mount. We know from the mini Snapdragon that even premium mounts wouldn't function differently.
