That's strange, I haven't changed my harvest method... Eh...heh heh... I'm trying not to blink, 'cause if I close my eyes for even a second, I might pass out... If you need help gathering materials for the gear, just let me know. I've traveled enough to know where to look. Maybe it's not the right time to say this, but it sure is fun to work on building something together. Talk Yes, Master Inaji. I'm getting a full eight hours of sleep every night, too. You spoke of a pesky turnip that needed removing. A Polturnip, was it? If you'd like, I can help you solve your plant problem. Hey, Player Doesn't it feel amazing seeing a friend, even when you expect to bump into them? I knew you were coming, I felt it in the breeze. Hey, it turned out great! You can always get a smile out of someone with "say cheese"! If you ever feel alone at night, pay attention to what you can hear. The sound of the wind, the whistling of the trees... Nature is always bustling with life! Rain is great, it's the blessing of life! The trees know that. Maybe we find rain annoying because we're too self-absorbed. That's the same sky above Elderwood... Our world is as large as it is small. That's the same sky above Elderwood... Our world is as large as it is small. Ah, this breeze feels great! As fresh as when I felt it as a child. If we need a new companion on our adventures, my vote goes to this bed! So this is what you had in mind. Well I like it! Time to collect the blessings of the land. I love imagining how it will end up on our plates. I'll get used to this eventually... I've been growing fresh vegetables for everyone to enjoy! This is for you. It'll come in handy on your adventures! Animals of the forest and monsters don't understand hoomin words. You need to speak with your heart. Welcome, welcome! You're the first person to visit my house. I used to share a home with my little sister Leilah in Elderwood. We had some crazy times though. The Leafe trying to sneak in, hanging out with my best friend Fang... I used to share a home with my little sister Leilah in Elderwood. We had some crazy times though. The Leafe trying to sneak in, hanging out with my best friend Fang... I never thought I'd need a house on my travels. Maybe this is what I needed all along. A place I know I can return to when I'm on the road. I never thought I'd need a house on my travels. Maybe this is what I needed all along. A place I know I can return to when I'm on the road. I'm getting some rest. Got another day of hard work tomorrow! I was given this camera by a Plushling I met during my travels. I'm completely addicted to it now! I'll be capturing many more memories on film. Hey there! You won't feel lonely here, friend. I'm taking another photo. Want to get in the shot? We forest-dwellers are only half hoomin, our other half is...something else. It really doesn't bother you at all, does it? I appreciate that. I used to avoid hoomins, you know. In the forest, that is our way. But guess what? I like hoomins now. Especially you. Look, here are all the photos I took of us! I treasure all these memories. You grow vegetables with so much love, and it shows in the way they turn out. You're the kind of Farmer I want to become. Spirits, protect Player Spirits, protect Player Do you hear that? The spirits are thanking you! I should be thanking you, too. Thank you, Player Do you hear that? The spirits are thanking you! I should be thanking you, too. Thank you, Player Heh, still got more to say? Oh, you're friends with Host I feel a light breeze... Someone might be coming our way. Here, have some! It'll be even tastier if we enjoy it together. Thank you. You've given me another precious memory. Food like this is rich with the earth's blessing. You're a kind soul. Do you know how much joy this brings me? Your kindness, I mean. I must give you something in return. Please, accept this! I want you to have this, too. On my travels, I came across the weirdest village you can imagine... Oh? Sounds interesting! Oh? Sounds interesting! This isn't my kind of story. This isn't my kind of story. Everyone in that village speaks in opposites! A tasty apple is a "gross apple." A delightful sunrise is a "miserable sunrise." I stayed there a while, so I still have to think carefully whether I want to say "good morning" or "good evening"! Fair enough. I'd like to hear any weird stories you have. Heh heh, take a look at this hilarious picture... Can you tell what it is? It's Cooke's nose! He was messing around with my camera and hit the shutter button by mistake. Okay, I can show you some other time. I want to cook up something satisfying with the vegetables I've grown... I know how to make a soup out of them, that's about it. But even a simple soup tastes incredible when the vegetables have been grown with love and care! Well, let me know if you come across any good recipes! One with the wind! Feels like I'm on my travels! Time to whip out the camera! The wind is still... Are we carrying on into the night? Listen! The spirits say, "Good morning!" No curiosities can escape my camera! Player Thank you. This world is still full of surprises! Item I hope this gallery will put my photos on display someday! Can I have this Item Dosh I understand, it belongs here. Thanks! It's a wonderful souvenir to take back to my forest home. A gentle wind is blowing. It says that Island Heh heh, things have livened up around here. I should snap some shots of Island The winds on Island Seeing this brings back memories of Elderwood. No matter how much you travel, your hometown always has a special place in your heart. Behind every thriving crop is a hoomin that gave their blood, sweat, and tears into it. Before becoming a Farmer that's something I'd never given thought to. This melody is swell, but my ocarina sounds sweeter still. Someday I'll have to play for you. Are you also a traveler? There are many delicious-looking veggies all across this land; if possible, I want to try them all. I'd love to venture out to find them, but I'm just a lone Farmer. There are many locations I'm unable to visit. Could you perhaps take me with you? I'd gladly hear your tales of adventure as we travel the land. Come find me if you change your mind. I have a feeling traveling with you would be quite entertaining. Would you mind helping me harvest my vegetables? This would be much easier with a second set of hands. And I trust that you'll handle them with care. Thanks, you're a lifesaver. I'd never get through all this by myself. You have your own jobs to attend to, right? Thanks for checking on me, anyway. My vegetables are lucky to be harvested by kind hands such as yours. Thanks again, Player Could you possibly do me a favor? Do you think you can get hold of this item for me? Thanks. I'm lucky to call a kind hoomin like you my friend. I see... No, it's fine. I'll keep searching. Oh, you have the item I asked for. May I have it? Thanks, I'll be sure to repay your kindness in full. Just say the word. Heheh. A prankster, huh? I've lived with the Leafe, so I'm used to it. I've got a small problem... Maybe you could help me when you have a moment? I'm looking for these materials, could you find them for me? The winds... They're silent... This condition... Have to do something... I just need some sleep... I must protect them, at all costs. You are a kind soul. Let's get started, shall we? I'm hoping for a bountiful harvest... Let the wind be our guide. Did my skills come in handy? Nature has blessed us this day. Let's plant more seeds here. I'm rooting for you. A gentle breeze guides me ever forward... Maybe I'll practice my ocarina... On This Page 139
